Interbay Stadium

Interbay is a neighborhood in Seattle, Washington consisting of the valley between Queen Anne Hill on the east and Magnolia on the west, plus filled-in areas of Smith Cove and Salmon Bay. The neighborhood is bounded on the north by Salmon Bay, part of the Lake Washington Ship Canal, across which is Ballard; on the south by what remains of Smith Cove, an inlet of Elliott Bay; on the east by 15th Avenue W. and Elliott Avenue W.; and on the west by the BNSF Railway. The Ballard Bridge crosses the ship canal from Interbay to Ballard. Much of Interbay is taken up by BNSF Railway's Balmer Yard. Interbay is also home to Fishermen's Terminal on Salmon Bay and the Port of Seattle's Piers 86, 90, and 91 on Smith Cove. Its main thoroughfares are Elliott Avenue W. (northwest- and southeast-bound) and 15th Avenue W. (north- and southbound).

Balmer Yard is a rail yard located in the Interbay neighborhood of Seattle, Washington. The yard is owned by BNSF Railway, and was built by predecessor Great Northern Railway as Interbay Yard. As part of a modernization in the late 1960s, which included a 16-track hump, it was renamed after former GN vice president Thomas Balmer. The nearby engine servicing area is still known as Interbay. The yard is over 80 acres (320,000 m2) in size and has 41 parallel tracks for switching cars.

The Automobili Lamborghini Advanced Composite Structures Laboratory (ACSL), commonly referred to as the Lamborghini Lab (or Lambo Lab), was a research and development facility based in Seattle, Washington from 2007 to 2018, which focused on the development of carbon fiber composite technologies for Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A. The ACSL also designed and developed carbon fiber products for other organizations in other industries. The hallmark technology pioneered by the Lamborghini Lab is the forged composite technology. For Lamborghini, the ACSL was responsible for carbon fiber technology innovation, such as experimenting with new materials and processes, as well as structural concept development and generating new body-in-white concepts. For other organizations, the ACSL provided design, engineering, testing, and educational services for carbon fiber composite products. The facility, located in the Interbay neighborhood of Seattle, also had a museum on carbon fiber materials and manufacturing that was open from 2015 to 2018.

Interbay P-Patch, "The Garden Between The Bays", is one of Seattle, Washington's largest and most involved community gardens, and is recognized as an example of resourcefulness and sustainability.

Cruise West was an independent, destination focused small-ship cruise operator based in Seattle, Washington. The line was the largest operator of U.S. flagged cruise vessels (by number of vessels) with nine currently operating. They were best known for their Alaska cruises but their reach includes destinations all around the Pacific Ocean. Cruise West announced on September 18, 2010 that it is ceasing operations.

Seattle Fishermen's Memorial, or Fisherman's Memorial, is an outdoor sculpture by Ronald Petty, installed at Fishermen's Terminal in Seattle, Washington, in the United States. The monument was designed in 1987 and dedicated in October 1988. It commemorates Seattle fisherman who died since 1900.

The former Seventh Church of Christ, Scientist, building is located in the Queen Anne Hill neighborhood of Seattle, Washington, (corner of West Halladay Street) is an historic Christian Science church edifice. Built in 1926, it was designed by noted Seattle architect Harlan Thomas in the Neo-Byzantine, Mission Revival and Spanish Colonial styles. It consists of two parts joined together to form an ell: the 2-story main section containing the church auditorium (the term Christian Scientists use instead of sanctuary) and a one-story wing containing the Sunday School. The main section is square but each corner has been "flattened to form an irregular octagon.

Mount Pleasant Cemetery is a cemetery in Seattle's Queen Anne neighborhood, in the U.S. state of Washington. It opened in 1879. The cemetery contains the remains of the unknown dead of the 1906 SS Valencia disaster, as well as many early Seattle pioneers, and Filipino-American author and activist Carlos Bulosan. A memorial to the dead of the 1916 Everett Massacre is located in the northeast section of the cemetery. During World War II, the cemetery served as a site for anti-aircraft defenses.

The Center for Sex Positive Culture (CSPC), formerly known as The Wet Spot, is a non-profit, membership-based organization located in Seattle, Washington. It organizes events and provides space for several different sex-positive subcultures, notably BDSM, swinging, and polyamory groups. CSPC welcomes people of all sexual identities and seeks to encompass all consensual sexual practices. The Center is a 501(c)(7) recreational club; its sister organization, the Foundation for Sex Positive Culture (renamed Pan-Eros in 2018) is a 501(c)(3) charitable/educational organization.The organization held its first event, a fundraiser, in March 1999.

Fishermen's Terminal is a dock opened in 1914 and operated by the Port of Seattle as the home port for Seattle's commercial fishing fleet, and, since 2002, non-commercial pleasure craft. The Terminal is on Salmon Bay in the Interbay neighborhood, east of the Hiram M. Chittenden Locks and immediately west of the Ballard Bridge. The Terminal has freshwater mooring for fishing vessels and pleasure craft up to 250 ft (76 m) length. Preference is given to commercial fishing vessels. It serves more than 700 vessels. A public access float provides free moorage for up to four hours for visitors. The facility also includes 227,000 square feet (21,100 m2) of office, retail, restaurant, light industry and warehouse space. There are two restaurants, a seafood market, a bookstore and a gift shop. Fisherman's Terminal is home to some of the vessels in the Discovery Channel TV series Deadliest Catch. It was also the topic of a documentary film Fishermen's Terminal. The documentary centers on the conflict between the moorage needs of the fishing fleet and pleasure boaters.The Seattle Fishermen's Memorial faces the water between the docks and the Terminal building. It is bronze and stone sculpture with plaques memorializing more than 670 local commercial fishermen and women who have been lost at sea since the beginning of the 20th century. The memorial is managed by its own non-profit organization. Since 1988, the Terminal has hosted the annual Fishermen's Fall Festival for the return of the North Pacific fishing fleet.

The Magnolia Bridge, built in 1930, connects the Seattle neighborhoods of Magnolia and Interbay over the filled-in tidelands of Smith Cove. It is one of only three road connections from Magnolia to the rest of Seattle. It carries W. Garfield Street from Magnolia Way W. in the west to the intersection of Elliott and 15th Avenues W. in the east. Having been damaged in the 2001 Nisqually earthquake, it is currently scheduled for replacement. In 1910, when a bridge was first proposed for this location, Queen Anne Hill and Magnolia were already connected by several trestles across Interbay, each spanning the railway that ran north–south through Interbay. By 1912 a wooden trestle had been built. The wooden trestle was replaced by a concrete structure in 1930 and improved in 1957 to provide a grade separation from Elliott Avenue West. In 1960 the bridge was renamed from the "Garfield Street Bridge" to the "Magnolia Bridge" as a result of community efforts by Magnolia residents.The bridge's support columns were damaged by the 2001 Nisqually earthquake, temporarily closing it for repairs. As part of disaster-relief funding after the earthquake, a replacement for the Magnolia Bridge was granted $9 million in federal funds, but design of the new bridge stalled in the late 2000s.

The Ballard Bridge, also known as the 15th Avenue Bridge, is a double-leaf bascule bridge in Seattle, Washington. It carries 15th Avenue NW over Seattle's Salmon Bay between Ballard to the north and Interbay to the south. The Ballard Bridge follows the Fremont Bridge in the east in the succession of bridges spanning the Lake Washington Ship Canal, which connects Lake Washington in the east to Puget Sound in the west. Built in 1917, it has an opening span of 218 ft (66 m) and a total length of 2,854 ft (870 m). The approaches of the bridge were originally timber trestles. It also carried a streetcar. In 1939, the timber approach spans of the Ballard Bridge were replaced as a Public Works Administration project. The deck was surfaced with concrete and the rails for the streetcar were removed. In 1982, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places.In recent years bicyclists have complained that improvements are needed to address safety concerns.
