Clatterbridge Hospital is a general hospital located on Clatterbridge Health Park in Bebington, Wirral, England. It is managed by Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

Clatterbridge Health Park is a campus of otherwise independent, health care-related organisations, including three separate NHS trusts.Located in Bebington, Wirral, close to Junction 4 of the M53 motorway, the health park was the former site of the defunct Wirral Union Workhouse. As such, it shares much of its history with that of Clatterbridge Hospital.

Clatterbridge is a hamlet on the Wirral Peninsula, in the Metropolitan Borough of Wirral, Merseyside, England. It is to the south-west of Bebington and close to the M53 motorway. Clatterbridge is also the name of a local government ward, which includes Brimstage, Raby, Raby Mere, Thornton Hough, Storeton, Spital and the western fringes of Bromborough and Eastham. At the 2001 census, the total population of the ward was 16,906, falling to 14,411 at the 2011 census. The hamlet of Clatterbridge only had a recorded resident population of 30 in 2001.

Wirral Rural District was a rural district on the Wirral Peninsula in Cheshire, England from 1894 to 1933. It was created under the Local Government Act 1894 from the Wirral Rural Sanitary District. From the beginning of the twentieth century, some civil parishes were transferred to the control of neighbouring local authorities. Netherpool, Whitby and Overpool had become part of Ellesmere Port Urban District by 1911. Landican, Prenton and Thingwall were absorbed into Birkenhead County Borough in 1928.Wirral Rural District was abolished on 1 April 1933 under a County Review Order, with the remaining civil parishes being split between Bebington Urban District, Birkenhead County Borough, Ellesmere Port Urban District, Hoylake Urban District, Neston Urban District, Wallasey County Borough and the new Wirral Urban District.As of 2023 the area of the former rural district is divided between the Metropolitan Borough of Wirral in Merseyside and the unitary authority of Cheshire West and Chester in Cheshire.

Storeton transmitting station (also commonly known as the Storeton transmitter) is a television transmitter being a member of both the Winter Hill group of transmitters and of the Moel-y-Parc group of transmitter (public service multiplexes only), and an FM radio transmitter, with transmitting antennas affixed to a mast located on Storeton Ridge, Higher Bebington, Wirral, UK (national grid reference: SJ314841). The site is owned and operated by Arqiva. It was originally solely an analogue TV relay of the Winter Hill transmitter and the only Winter Hill relay to carry all five analogue TV channels prior to digital switchover. The 45 metre-high (150 ft-high) mast is situated at an elevation of 65.5 metres (215 ft). Thus, the top of the mast has an overall height of 110.5 metres (363 ft) above sea level. Construction of the mast was completed in 1980. As of 2009, the TV transmitter serves approximately 45,000 homes.

Wirral Grammar School for Girls is an all-girls grammar school on the Wirral Peninsula in Merseyside, England.

Wirral Grammar School for Boys was founded in 1931 as a maintained selective grammar school for boys aged 11–18. It is situated on a 9.1 acres (3.7 ha) site to the west of Port Sunlight at Cross Lane, Bebington, on the Wirral Peninsula in England. Academically successful, the school was placed 42nd in the top 100 in the Daily Telegraph A-Level table in 2015 and 145th in the DfE GCSE table in the same year, but has not been inspected since its conversion to academy status. The school's main claim to fame lies in being the alma mater of former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Harold Wilson, who was a member of the sixth form from 1932 to 1934 and was the school's first Head Boy.

Brimstage Hall and Tower is a Grade I listed 14th century building located in Brimstage, Wirral, England. The building is composed of a 16th-century hall; rebuilt on the site of a former 12th century hall, as well as a connecting tower built in 1398. Today the area has been redeveloped, with the building's courtyard converted into restaurants and gift shops.

All Saints Church is in Raby Road, Thornton Hough, Merseyside, England. It is an active Anglican parish church in the Deanery of Wirral, South, the archdeaconry of Chester, and the diocese of Chester. The church is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II listed building.

Co-op Academy Bebington (formerly Bebington High Sports College and Bebington High School) is an 11–18 mixed, secondary school and sixth form with academy status in Bebington, Merseyside, England. It was established in 1915 and adopted its present name after becoming an academy in April 2019. It is part of the Co-op Academies Trust.

St George's Church is in Manor Road, Thornton Hough, Wirral, Merseyside, England. It is an active United Reformed Church, and is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II* listed building.
