Brimstage Hall and Tower is a Grade I listed 14th century building located in Brimstage, Wirral, England. The building is composed of a 16th-century hall; rebuilt on the site of a former 12th century hall, as well as a connecting tower built in 1398. Today the area has been redeveloped, with the building's courtyard converted into restaurants and gift shops.

Thornton Manor is a large manor house in the village of Thornton Hough, Wirral, Merseyside, England. It is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II* listed building. The house was first built in the middle of the 19th century and has been altered and extended in a number of phases since. From 1888 to the end of the 20th century the house was occupied by the Viscounts Leverhulme.

Thornton Hough () is a village on the Wirral Peninsula, in Merseyside, England, of pre-Conquest origins. The village grew during the ownership of Joseph Hirst into a small model village and was later acquired by William Lever, founder of Lever Brothers, the predecessor of Unilever. Thornton Hough is roughly 10 miles (16 km) from Liverpool and 12 miles (19 km) from Chester. Administratively, it is part of the Clatterbridge Ward of the Metropolitan Borough of Wirral and is in the parliamentary constituency of Wirral South. At the 2001 census, Thornton Hough had 770 inhabitants.

Clatterbridge is a hamlet on the Wirral Peninsula, in the Metropolitan Borough of Wirral, Merseyside, England. It is to the south-west of Bebington and close to the M53 motorway. Clatterbridge is also the name of a local government ward, which includes Brimstage, Raby, Raby Mere, Thornton Hough, Storeton, Spital and the western fringes of Bromborough and Eastham. At the 2001 census, the total population of the ward was 16,906, falling to 14,411 at the 2011 census. The hamlet of Clatterbridge only had a recorded resident population of 30 in 2001.

Storeton Hall was a country house in the village of Storeton, Wirral, Merseyside, England. It was built in the 14th century for the Stanley family and consisted of an H-shaped building including a great hall. Only the north wing, a wall of the great hall, and a block between them that contained a chapel, have survived, and have been incorporated into farm buildings. The remains of the hall are recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II* listed building.

Clatterbridge Hospital is a general hospital located on Clatterbridge Health Park in Bebington, Wirral, England. It is managed by Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

Claire House Children's Hospice is a children's hospice in Merseyside. The hospice helps seriously and terminally ill children from 0–23 years by providing specialist nursing care and emotional support. It has provided care for children and young people across Merseyside, Cheshire and North Wales since it opened in 1998. The organisation has two sites: a hospice in Bebington, the Wirral, and the Hub in West Derby, Liverpool, that offers day care. Support can be provided at Claire House or at home and can be for the child, young person or for family members. The charity has featured on Children in Need in 2011, 2014 and 2016. It also has high-profile supporters including Steven Gerrard and Wayne Rooney. As of 2017, the charity is providing care for over 200 babies, children and young people and supporting more than 200 bereaved families. In July 2015 Claire House was rated as 'Outstanding' by the Care Quality Commission. Claire House, Wirral is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week and offers a range of services. Children can have fun in the multi-sensory room, art room, hydrotherapy pool and Jacuzzi. There is a separate wing complete with bar, sound system and Xbox for teenagers and young adults. Claire House also provides end of life care, ensuring that a child's last days are as comfortable and memorable as possible. In 2016 the charity occupied a site in West Derby, Liverpool, that used to be a Carmelite Monastery. The Claire House Liverpool Hub opened in the summer of 2017, offering services such as counselling, holistic therapies and hospice to home support. Claire House hopes to one day open a new-state-of-the-art hospice on the site and reach out to more children in Merseyside.

Storeton transmitting station (also commonly known as the Storeton transmitter) is a television transmitter being a member of both the Winter Hill group of transmitters and of the Moel-y-Parc group of transmitter (public service multiplexes only), and an FM radio transmitter, with transmitting antennas affixed to a mast located on Storeton Ridge, Higher Bebington, Wirral, UK (national grid reference: SJ314841). The site is owned and operated by Arqiva. It was originally solely an analogue TV relay of the Winter Hill transmitter and the only Winter Hill relay to carry all five analogue TV channels prior to digital switchover. The 45 metre-high (150 ft-high) mast is situated at an elevation of 65.5 metres (215 ft). Thus, the top of the mast has an overall height of 110.5 metres (363 ft) above sea level. Construction of the mast was completed in 1980. As of 2009, the TV transmitter serves approximately 45,000 homes.

At the time of the 2001 census, Brimstage had a population of 100.
