St Mylor Church

Mylor Churchtown is a coastal village in Cornwall, England. It is the church town of the ecclesiastical parish of Mylor and is situated at the mouth of Mylor Creek, approximately three miles north of Falmouth.Mylor Yacht Harbour is a large yacht marina immediately north of Mylor Churchtown. It has been owned by the Graffy family since 1997. The marina is at the mouth of Mylor Creek at its confluence with Carrick Roads and is the home of Restronguet Sailing Club.

Restronguet Point (Cornish: Ros Trongoos, meaning promontory of a wooded point) is a small narrow promontory in the civil parish of Feock in south Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. It is situated approximately three-quarters of a mile (1 km) south of Feock village.Together with Harcourt (Cornish: Ar Carrek, meaning facing a rock) and Porthgwidden (neighbouring settlements immediately north of the promontory), Restronguet Point forms a distinct community recognised by Feock Parish Council and supported by its own community group, 'Friends of Restronguet Point'. The group has an input into local planning decisions. Restronguet Point is a residential area with housing (mostly large detached properties) on both sides of the lane from Feock.The promontory is approximately 200 metres (660 ft) wide and 700 metres (2,300 ft) long. It projects southward between Restronguet Creek (to the west) and Carrick Roads (to the east). At the southern tip of the promontory (grid reference SW 821 366), the creek discharges into Carrick Roads through a narrow channel known locally as 'the gut'.Restronguet Point lies within the Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).

Restronguet Creek is a tidal ria in south Cornwall, United Kingdom. It is a tributary of Carrick Roads, the estuary of the River Fal, and is situated approximately four miles (6.5 km) south of Truro and three miles (5 km) north of Falmouth. The creek is approximately two miles (3 km) long from its Normal Tidal Limit (NTL) to its mouth and half-a-mile (800 metres) across at its widest point. It discharges into Carrick Roads at Restronguet Point through a narrow channel known locally as 'the gut'.Restronguet Creek forms the boundary between the civil parishes of Feock (on the north bank), Mylor (at the eastern end of the south bank), and Perranarworthal (at the western end of the south bank).At its upstream end, Restronguet Creek is fed by two freshwater rivers: the Carnon River from the northwest and the River Kennall from the southwest. The NTL on the Carnon River is immediately upstream of Devoran where the A39 trunk road crosses the river; the NTL on the River Kennall is at Perran Wharf. A smaller stream from the north discharges into the tidal creek at Penpol.

The creek is a popular location for yachting and dinghy racing and there are moorings for visiting boats at the Pandora Inn, a waterside public house.

The docks are the southern shore of the Fal Estuary which is the third largest natural harbour in the world and the deepest in Europe. They extend over 30 hectares (74 acres) and covers a range of services to shipping such as repair, refuelling, cleaning and disposal of waste services. The docks are served by the Falmouth Docks railway station. Policing is by the Falmouth Docks Police.
