Mylor Creek (Cornish: Pol Scathow, meaning creek of boats) is a tidal ria in south Cornwall, United Kingdom. It is a tributary of Carrick Roads, the estuary of the River Fal and is situated approximately six miles (10 km) south of Truro and two miles (3 km) north of Falmouth .

The hamlet is situated on the south shore of the tidal Mylor Creek, an inlet on the west side of Carrick Roads. Trelew lies within the Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). A fictionalised version of Trelew appears in the animated film Arthur Christmas (2011) as the hometown of the character Gwen.

Flushing is a coastal village in the civil parish of Mylor, west Cornwall, UK. It is 3 miles (5 km) east of Penryn and 10 miles (16 km) south of Truro. It faces Falmouth across the Penryn River, an arm of the Carrick Roads. The village is known for its yearly Regatta week in July. Flushing lies within the Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). Almost a third of Cornwall has AONB designation, with the same status and protection as a National Park.

St Michael and All Angels Church, Penwerris is a parish church of the Church of England located in Penwerris, near Falmouth, Cornwall. The church is Anglo-Catholic and under the care of the Bishop of Oswestry rather than the diocesan bishop. The church was originally dedicated to the Holy Trinity, but this was later changed to St Michael & All Angels. It is a plain rectangular building of stone erected in 1827 and opened on 9 January 1828. It consists of a nave only and a western gallery. Penwerris only became a parish in 1848; until then it was part of the parish of Budock. St Michael and All Angels is a Grade II listed building; it was listed in 1973. The east chancel window was installed in 1908 and depicts the virtues Fortitude and Purity, as well as a pelican pricking itself to feed its young.

The creek is approximately two miles (3 km) long from its Normal Tidal Limit (NTL) to its mouth and half-a-mile (800 metres) across at its widest point. It discharges into Carrick Roads at Restronguet Point through a narrow channel known locally as 'the gut'.Restronguet Creek forms the boundary between the civil parishes of Feock (on the north bank), Mylor (at the eastern end of the south bank), and Perranarworthal (at the western end of the south bank).At its upstream end, Restronguet Creek is fed by two freshwater rivers: the Carnon River from the northwest and the River Kennall from the southwest. The NTL on the Carnon River is immediately upstream of Devoran where the A39 trunk road crosses the river; the NTL on the River Kennall is at Perran Wharf. A smaller stream from the north discharges into the tidal creek at Penpol.

Restronguet Point (Cornish: Ros Trongoos, meaning promontory of a wooded point) is a small narrow promontory in the civil parish of Feock in south Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. It is situated approximately three-quarters of a mile (1 km) south of Feock village.Together with Harcourt (Cornish: Ar Carrek, meaning facing a rock) and Porthgwidden (neighbouring settlements immediately north of the promontory), Restronguet Point forms a distinct community recognised by Feock Parish Council and supported by its own community group, 'Friends of Restronguet Point'. The group has an input into local planning decisions. Restronguet Point is a residential area with housing (mostly large detached properties) on both sides of the lane from Feock.The promontory is approximately 200 metres (660 ft) wide and 700 metres (2,300 ft) long. It projects southward between Restronguet Creek (to the west) and Carrick Roads (to the east). At the southern tip of the promontory (grid reference SW 821 366), the creek discharges into Carrick Roads through a narrow channel known locally as 'the gut'.Restronguet Point lies within the Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).

The Congregationalist Cemetery (also known as the "Independent Burial Ground" or the "Dissenters Burying Ground") at Ponsharden, Cornwall was opened in 1808 to serve the Dissenting Christian congregations of Falmouth and Penryn. It received approximately 587 burials over a period of 120 years, before being abandoned in the 1930s. During the 20th century the site experienced significant neglect and extensive vandalism. In May 2012 a volunteer group began to restore the burial ground which (combined with an adjacent Jewish cemetery) is now a protected Scheduled Monument of national importance. The place-name Ponsharden is recorded in 1677 as "Ponshardy"; its meaning is Hardy's bridge.
