Greenbank (also known as Packer's Ground) is a cricket ground in Bristol. The ground was initially owned by H.J. Packer and Co Ltd. The first first-class match on the ground was in 1922, when Gloucestershire played Sussex. Gloucestershire played first-class matches at the ground from 1922 to 1928, playing a total of 20 first-class matches there, the last of which saw them play Derbyshire in the 1928 County Championship.Gloucestershire also played a non first-class at the ground in 1924 against a Scotland XI.The ground still exists today, after being sold by H.J. Packer and Co Ltd in 1935, it came under the ownership of the local council and is today used by the Old Georgian Eastville Club. In recent times, the ground has undergone a refurbishment with the construction of new buildings and the relaying of the pitch.

St George Park is a park on the eastern edge of the inner city in Bristol, England, in St George. Built on land that was originally The Fire Engine Farm, the park had many architectural features. All that remains of these is three of the original gate pillars at the main Church Road entrance. Many old photographs of the park show that it was a popular area in Edwardian times. The St George Library is situated on the edge the park, on Church Road.

Whitehall, is a district on the northeastern edge of central Bristol, within the electoral ward of Easton.

Elizabeth Shaw is a Bristol-based company that markets chocolate-based confectionery, including the brands Famous Names chocolate liqueurs and Elizabeth Shaw after dinner mints. The business was founded in 1881, as H.J. Packer, in Armoury Square, Bristol, but, having outgrown its original premises, moved to a newly built factory in Greenbank, Bristol in 1915. Its fortunes waxed and waned over the next century, being owned by, amongst others, James Goldsmith and James (Lord) Hanson. In 2006, faced with the high costs associated with the 330,000 sq feet building, the company relocated its manufacturing to factories in the UK and in mainland Europe, and closed the then 105-year-old factory. In March 2006 Elizabeth Shaw was purchased by Nói Síríus, the largest confectionery manufacturer in Iceland. It was subsequently purchased by a Norwegian company, Imagine Capital. In 2016, Colian Holding, Poland's largest confectionery manufacturer, acquired Elizabeth Shaw from Imagine Capital. [1]

Redfield is an area situated in East Bristol though it is represented in Westminster as part of the Bristol West constituency. It includes the stretch of Church Road (A420) from Verrier Road to the western boundary of St George's Green, Victorian-era landscaped parkland. It is adjacent to the neighbourhoods of Barton Hill and Russell Town to the South, St George to the East, Whitehall to the North and Lawrence Hill to the West and Pile Marsh to the South-East.

St George West is a district (Ward) of Bristol. It became a single-councillor ward for the May 2016 council election following a review of boundaries in the city after years of population growth. It comprises western parts of the old ward that shares its name. It covers St George Park, the upper end of Church Road (from the junction at Avonvale Road to just beyond the Fountain), Plummers Hill and parts of Crofts End to the north, down to the River Avon to the south, and includes part of Redfield in the south-west. It’s councillor is Asher Craig (Labour) who is also Bristol’s Deputy Mayor with responsibility for Communities, Equalities and Public Health.St George West is located in the outer east of the city of Bristol,. in the parliamentary ward that is served by Kerry McCarthy MP (Labour).

Greenbank is a small informal district in the city of Bristol, England nestling between Easton to the west, Eastville to the north-east, Clay Bottom and Rose Green to the east, and Whitehall to the south. The area is mainly one of 1890s terraced housing with some present millennium housing on the north eastern edge of the cemetery. Nearly all of the housing is in the north-east of Easton electoral ward, though the road Greenbank View and the cemetery are in Eastville electoral ward.

St Anne's Church is a Church of England parish church in the Greenbank area of Bristol. Originally built as a temporary mission hall in the early 20th century to designs by George Oatley, the structure was later converted into a permanent church by P. Hartland Thomas. It now serves the united Parish of St Anne with St Mark and St Thomas, which has prompted the church to rebrand itself as St Anne's Eastville.

Greenbank Masjid (officially Easton Islami Darasgah) is a Hanafi–Deobandi mosque on Greenbank Road in the Easton area of Bristol, England. It occupies the former Castle Green United Reformed Church, a 1902 church building designed by Bristol architect Sir Frank Wills. The polychrome brick landmark, nicknamed the "Lego church", replaced a much older chapel in what is now Castle Park. After the Christian congregation closed in 2008, the building was purchased and adapted for Muslim worship.

Brislington Brook is a short, 5 miles (8.0 km) long tributary of the Bristol Avon, rising on the northern slopes of Maes Knoll on the southern boundary of the city of Bristol, England. The stream has been badly affected by pollution but improvements have been made in the latter part of the twentieth century, and some wildlife is supported. St Anne's Well near the northern end of the brook was a major pilgrimage site for Christians in the Middle Ages.

Crew's Hole is an area in east Bristol near St George. It is next to the River Avon, two miles upstream from Bristol Bridge.From the early 18th century it began to be used extensively as an industrial area. The Bristol Brass Company began copper smelting in 1810 at Crew's Hole, and later expanded with a chimney further uphill which gave a better draught condition for the furnaces. Anthony Ammatt established a pottery at Crew's Hole in 1812, using clay transported from the Isle of Wight and Poole. Several bargeworks were built here during the 19th century.

Crofts End, also known as Clay Hill, is a suburban neighbourhood of Bristol, England, 2+1⁄2 miles (4 km) northeast of The Centre in the Eastville electoral ward. It is an industrialised area, with many small Victorian terraced houses, built when this area was a coal mining community. Crofts End borders Eastville to the northwest, Whitehall to the southwest, St George to the south, and Speedwell to the east. To the northeast, it is separated from Fishponds by Ridgeway playing fields and Coombe Brook Nature Reserve.
