St Anne's Church, Greenbank

Greenbank is a small informal district in the city of Bristol, England nestling between Easton to the west, Eastville to the north-east, Clay Bottom and Rose Green to the east, and Whitehall to the south. The area is mainly one of 1890s terraced housing with some present millennium housing on the north eastern edge of the cemetery. Nearly all of the housing is in the north-east of Easton electoral ward, though the road Greenbank View and the cemetery are in Eastville electoral ward.

Greenbank Masjid (officially Easton Islami Darasgah) is a Hanafi–Deobandi mosque on Greenbank Road in the Easton area of Bristol, England. It occupies the former Castle Green United Reformed Church, a 1902 church building designed by Bristol architect Sir Frank Wills. The polychrome brick landmark, nicknamed the "Lego church", replaced a much older chapel in what is now Castle Park. After the Christian congregation closed in 2008, the building was purchased and adapted for Muslim worship.

Elizabeth Shaw is a Bristol-based company that markets chocolate-based confectionery, including the brands Famous Names chocolate liqueurs and Elizabeth Shaw after dinner mints. The business was founded in 1881, as H.J. Packer, in Armoury Square, Bristol, but, having outgrown its original premises, moved to a newly built factory in Greenbank, Bristol in 1915. Its fortunes waxed and waned over the next century, being owned by, amongst others, James Goldsmith and James (Lord) Hanson. In 2006, faced with the high costs associated with the 330,000 sq feet building, the company relocated its manufacturing to factories in the UK and in mainland Europe, and closed the then 105-year-old factory. In March 2006 Elizabeth Shaw was purchased by Nói Síríus, the largest confectionery manufacturer in Iceland. It was subsequently purchased by a Norwegian company, Imagine Capital. In 2016, Colian Holding, Poland's largest confectionery manufacturer, acquired Elizabeth Shaw from Imagine Capital. [1]

The Eastville Workhouse (officially named the Barton Regis workhouse) was a workhouse situated at 100 Fishponds Road, in Bristol, U.K. It was converted into a home for the elderly in the 1920s, and demolished to make way for housing in 1972.

Greenbank (also known as Packer's Ground) is a cricket ground in Bristol. The ground was initially owned by H.J. Packer and Co Ltd. The first first-class match on the ground was in 1922, when Gloucestershire played Sussex. Gloucestershire played first-class matches at the ground from 1922 to 1928, playing a total of 20 first-class matches there, the last of which saw them play Derbyshire in the 1928 County Championship.Gloucestershire also played a non first-class at the ground in 1924 against a Scotland XI.The ground still exists today, after being sold by H.J. Packer and Co Ltd in 1935, it came under the ownership of the local council and is today used by the Old Georgian Eastville Club. In recent times, the ground has undergone a refurbishment with the construction of new buildings and the relaying of the pitch.

Eastville is the name of both a council ward in the city of Bristol in the United Kingdom and a suburb of the city that lies within that ward. The Eastville ward covers the areas of Eastville, Crofts End (also known as Clay Hill), Stapleton and part of Fishponds. Notable places within the ward include Bristol Metropolitan Academy ( formerly Whitefield Fishponds Community School) and Colston's School, and the Bristol and Bath Railway Path also passes through the ward.

Whitehall, is a district on the northeastern edge of central Bristol, within the electoral ward of Easton.

Eastville Park is an urban park in Bristol, England. The grounds that became the park were purchased from Greville Smyth of Ashton Court and the boundary walls are listed with Historic England. The facilities include a lake and tennis courts.

Bristol Hawks Gymnastics Club is a gymnastics centre based in the Easton area of Bristol, England. Known for being the long-time training base of Claudia Fragapane, the club has produced Olympians, Commonwealth champions and European medallists, while also running community and recreational programmes.
