Ursuline Campus Schools is a small system of schools located on one, 48-acre (190,000 m2) campus on Lexington Road in Louisville, KY. Sacred Heart Academy is an all-girls Roman Catholic high school in Louisville, Kentucky. It is located in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Louisville. Sacred Heart Academy was founded in 1877 and is a sponsored school of the Ursuline Sisters of Louisville. It has been named a Blue Ribbon School of Excellence twice and is an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School. It first achieved International Baccalaureate (IB) World School status in 1997. It is one of only two schools in the city and the only Catholic school in the state to offer IB.

Cherokee Gardens is a residential area six miles east of downtown Louisville, Kentucky USA. The area is a collection of small, unconnected subdivisions along Lexington Road and large estates built just outside Cherokee Park. Many of Louisville's early 20th Century elite lived in the area, drawn there by the large, undeveloped parcels of land near downtown. Most houses in the area were built from the 1920s to the 1950s, several being designed by noted Louisville residential architect Stratton Hammon. Cherokee Gardens is bounded by Lexington Road, Cannons Lane, and I-64. As of 2000, the population of Cherokee Gardens was 927.

Crescent Hill Reservoir is a historic site in Crescent Hill, Louisville, Kentucky. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Historic tours and walks have been hosted at the site and it is a popular area for walkers and runners. It is located at the intersection of Reservoir Avenue and 3018 Frankfort Avenue.The Gothic architecture-style gatehouse building was constructed in 1879. It was designed by water company chief engineer Charles Hermany. The Crescent Hill Filtration Plant opened in 1909 "culminating landmark experiments" in sand and gravel filtration. The site includes historical markers.

Crescent Hill is a neighborhood four miles (6 km) east of downtown Louisville, Kentucky USA. This area was originally called "Beargrass" because it sits on a ridge between two forks of Beargrass Creek. The boundaries of Crescent Hill are N Ewing Ave to the St. Matthews city limit (roughly Cannons Lane) by Brownsboro Road to Lexington Road. Frankfort Avenue generally bisects the neighborhood. Boyce College is a private, Christian college located in the Crescent Hill neighborhood of Louisville, Kentucky. It is affiliated with the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. It receives its accreditation from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and the Association of Theological Schools in the United States and Canada.

Rockcreek-Lexington Road is an irregular-shaped neighborhood in Louisville, Kentucky, United States. Its boundaries are Seneca Park and Briar Hill Road to the west, Cannons Lane to the east, Interstate 64 to the south, and Lexington Road to the north. Also included are "areas immediately adjoining Shelbyville Rd. from Cannons Ln. to Fairfax Ave. and those along Nanz Ave. from Cannons Ln. to Macon Ave."

The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (SBTS) is a Baptist theological institute in Louisville, Kentucky. It is affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention. The seminary was founded in 1859 in Greenville, South Carolina, where it was at first housed on the campus of Furman University. The seminary has been an innovator in theological education, establishing one of the first Ph.D. programs in religion in the year 1892. After being closed during the Civil War, it moved in 1877 to a newly built campus in downtown Louisville and moved to its current location in 1926 in the Crescent Hill neighborhood. In 1953, Southern became one of the few seminaries to offer a full, accredited degree course in church music. For more than fifty years Southern has been one of the world's largest theological seminaries, with an FTE (full-time equivalent) enrollment of over 3,300 students in 2015.

The Masonic Widows and Orphans Home, located in Louisville near St. Matthews, Kentucky, is a historic building on the National Register of Historic Places. It was built by the Grand Lodge of Kentucky to support the widows and orphans of Master Masons, but now is open to all senior citizens.

Seneca Park was the last park designed by Frederick Law Olmsted's firm in Louisville, Kentucky, United States. The park system in Louisville was the last of five designed by the Olmsted firm. The park resides in the Louisville neighborhood of Seneca Gardens, Kentucky. The park has been updated over the years to include restrooms and playground equipment that supplements a myriad of trails for people or horses.According to The Trust for Public Land, Seneca Park has 500,000 visitors annually, making it tied for the 69th most popular municipal park in the United States.A notable feature of the park's design lies in its location in reference to other parks. As a part of the Louisville Olmsted park system, it is connected to other parks built by the firm, most notably Cherokee Park. This connections can be seen by the parks’ close proximities of one another, and they are easily accessible from another. The park is also located nearby many neighborhoods, likely contributing to the vast number of visitors it sees every year.

St. Mark's Episcopal Church is located in the Crescent Hill historic district, on Frankfort Avenue which began as Louisville and Lexington turnpike in the 1850s. The church is located at the corner of Frankfort and Kennedy Avenues in Louisville, Kentucky. The church was founded as a missionary parish in 1891. The parish purchased the lot upon which the church was built in 1895. The first service was held in the new church on June 12, 1895. Today the church is active member parish of the Episcopal Diocese of Kentucky.

Highlands Latin School is a private classical Christian school located in Louisville, Kentucky, United States. It serves students from Kindergarten through 12th grade.
