Orlando Health is a private, not-for-profit network of community and specialty hospitals based in Orlando, Florida. Orlando Health is Central Florida’s fourth largest employer with nearly 29,000 employees and more than 4,500 affiliated physicians.

Orlando Regional Medical Center (ORMC) is an 808-bed tertiary hospital in downtown Orlando, Florida designed by HKS, Inc. (architect) and Walter P Moore (structural engineer). It is the flagship of the Orlando Health system.

Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies (WPHfWB) is a nationally ranked, 285-bed non-profit, women and babies hospital located in Orlando, Florida. WPHfWB is a part of the Orlando Health system. As the hospital is a teaching hospital, it is affiliated with the Florida State University College of Medicine's Orlando campus. Additionally, Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies has a two-story skybridge to connect the hospital to the nearby Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children, which it keeps close affiliations to. The hospital contains one of two pediatric training programs in Orlando Health for medical students.The hospital contains all of Orlando Health's gynecological facilities as well as the maternity department, and all neonatal/neonatal intensive care unit services.

Orlando Health/Amtrak station, also known as Orlando station, is a train station in Orlando, Florida. It is served by Amtrak, the national railroad passenger system of the United States, and SunRail, the commuter rail service of Greater Orlando, as well as local and intercity buses. It serves Amtrak's Silver Meteor and Silver Star lines. Built in 1926, the historic station is located approximately one mile south of Downtown Orlando near the campus of Orlando Health. Serving 160,442 passengers at last measure in 2013, The station is Amtrak's fifth busiest in the Southeastern United States; it is the second busiest Amtrak station in Florida, behind the Sanford station of the Auto Train.

On June 12, 2016, Omar Mateen, a 29-year-old man, killed 49 people and wounded 53 more in a mass shooting at Pulse, a gay nightclub in Orlando, Florida, United States. Orlando Police officers shot and killed him after a three-hour standoff. In a 9-1-1 call made shortly after the shooting began, Mateen swore allegiance to the leader of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, and said the U.S. killing of Abu Waheeb in Iraq the previous month "triggered" the shooting. He later told a negotiator he was "out here right now" because of the American-led interventions in Iraq and in Syria and that the negotiator should tell the United States to stop the bombing. The incident was deemed a terrorist attack by FBI investigators. Pulse was hosting a "Latin Night", and most of the victims were Latino. It is the deadliest incident in the history of violence against LGBT people in the United States, and was the deadliest mass shooting by a single gunman in U.S. history until the 2017 Las Vegas shooting.

The J. J. Bridges House is a historic house located at 704 South Kuhl Avenue in Orlando, Florida. It is locally significant as the first of the highly academic Colonial Revival style homes built in the city.

Delaney Park is a neighborhood located south of downtown Orlando, Florida, United States. It is named after Monte Delaney. Delaney Park can be noted for brick streets, mix of homes dating from the 1920s to present day, large oak trees, and close proximity to Orlando Regional Medical Center, Winnie Palmer Hospital for Children and Orlando's Amtrak Station. Local public schools include Boone High and Blankner Elementary.

Downtown Orlando is the historic core and central business district of Orlando, Florida, United States. The Griffin Park Historic District is a U.S. historic district (designated as such on July 18, 1996) located in Orlando, Florida. The district is bounded by Avondale and South Division Avenues, Carter Street, and I-4. It contains 26 historic buildings.

The Dr. P. Phillips House (also known as the Peleg Peckham House) is a historic home in Orlando, Florida. It is located at 135 Lucerne Circle, Northeast. On July 10, 1979, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.

CNL Center City Commons is a complex of buildings in Downtown Orlando. The main building is a 250 foot tall skyscraper that is the headquarters of CNLBank, Alliance Bankshares before being acquired by the founder of CNL Financial Group. In 2010, its assessed value was $59.6 million.The complex is also home to Orlando's current city hall, which was built after in the old one was demolished in the same area. The demolition was used in the movie Lethal Weapon 3.

The American Federal Building, also known as the American Federal Savings and Loan Building, the Coral Gables Building, and the Round Building, was an iconic seven-story office building in downtown Orlando, Florida. The bottom two floors, encircled with a cast concrete brise soleil comprise the original building, were completed in 1963. The building's unique architecture and history have inspired efforts to preserve it from demolition.
