Pan American Stadium is a 5,000 seat multi-purpose outdoor stadium, located in City Park, in New Orleans, Louisiana. It is used for soccer, American football, lacrosse and rugby. The City Park/Pepsi Tennis Center is a tennis facility located in City Park in New Orleans, United States. The facility, built in 2011, serves as the home of the Loyola Wolf Pack and Tulane Green Wave tennis teams.The facility offers 26 lighted courts. It has 16 hard courts and 10 clay courts along with a practice court and a club house. The club house is 3,500 square feet and includes a meeting room, showers and lockers.The tennis center hosts the City Park Grand Slam Tennis Tournament and has hosted the Allstate Sugar Bowl Tennis Tournament.

City Park is a neighborhood of the city of New Orleans, US. A subdistrict of the Lakeview District Area, its boundaries as defined by the City Planning Commission are: Allen Toussaint Boulevard to the north, Bayou St. John to the east, Orleans Avenue, North Carrollton Avenue and Toulouse Street to the south and City Park and Orleans Avenues to the west. Faubourg St. John, is a neighborhood in New Orleans, Louisiana, located just north of Broad Street at the intersection of Orleans Avenue. Faubourg St. John is approximately 75 city blocks in area and has an average elevation of about one foot above sea level. It was built along what is known as the Esplanade Ridge. The Esplanade Ridge Historic District was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. More than 4,000 residents call Faubourg St. John (originally Faubourg Saint-Jean) home. The word faubourg is French for neighborhood or suburb. Faubourg St. John is known for its abundant parks, architecturally-significant homes, museums, the Bayou St. John waterway, and restaurants and shops along Ponce de Leon and Broad Streets.

The General Beauregard Equestrian Statue, honoring P. G. T. Beauregard, was located in New Orleans, Louisiana, United States. The statue, by Alexander Doyle, one of the premier American sculptors, was officially unveiled in 1915. It was at the intersection of Carrollton Avenue and Esplanade Avenue at the main entrance to City Park, on Beauregard Circle. The statue was added to the National Register of Historic Places on February 18, 1999.

The City Park Practice Track or City Park Track is a 400-meter polyurethane track located in City Park in New Orleans. It was originally built as the practice/auxiliary track for the 1992 U.S. Olympic Track & Field Trials for the 1992 Summer Olympics. The track which is located adjacent to Tad Gormley Stadium, was renovated in 2006.It is home to the Jesuit Blue Jays, 2021 XC state champions, and the University of New Orleans. The facility is also used during track and field meets held at Tad Gormley Stadium. The track is the finish line for the Crescent City Fall Classic road race. It is also the practice facility for the New Orleans Halfmoons rugby club.

Tad Gormley Stadium (originally City Park Stadium) is a 26,500 seat multi-purpose outdoor stadium, located in City Park, in New Orleans, Louisiana.The stadium is home to the University of New Orleans Privateers men's and women's track and field teams. The Tulane University Green Wave men's and women's track and field teams also host track meets at the stadium. The Xavier University men's and women's track and field teams also use the stadium as its home venue. It is also frequently used for Louisiana High School Athletic Association football games, soccer matches and track and field meets.The stadium features GameDay Grass MT from AstroTurf, a 400-meter all-weather track, three locker rooms, a press box seating 110, and press suite seating for 40.

The Eighth National Eucharistic Congress was a Roman Catholic eucharistic congress held from October 17–20, 1938 (1938-10-17 – 1938-10-20) in the U.S. city of New Orleans, Louisiana, meant to foster devotion to the sacrament of the Eucharist. The congress was held in City Park Stadium. Archbishop of Chicago George Mundelein, a cardinal, served as a special papal legate for the congress.
