Louis-Hippolyte Lafontaine House (Boucherville)

Boucherville is a city in the Montérégie region in Quebec, Canada. It is a suburb of Montreal on the South shore of the Saint Lawrence River. Boucherville is part of both the urban agglomeration of Longueuil and Montreal Metropolitan Community regional government.

The Terminus De Montarville was inaugurated November 20, 2007 by the former Agence métropolitaine de transport (AMT) & the city of Boucherville. The bus terminus was built on the corner of Quebec route 132 and Boulevard De Montarville. It includes a 308 car and 35 bicycle capacity parking and seven waiting areas for buses on two bus platforms.It was built to help transfers between Boucherville's RTL bus lines 61, 80 and 85, and CIT Sorel-Varennes bus lines 700, 720, 721 and 722 on April 7, 2008.These buses link to Longueuil terminus and Radisson station. On June 1, 2017, the AMT was dissolved and replaced by two new governing bodies: the Autorité régionale de transport métropolitain (ARTM) and the Réseau de transport métropolitain (RTM). The RTM took over all former AMT services, including the operation of the station.

The Sabrevois River is a tributary of the south shore of the St. Lawrence River, flowing in the city of Boucherville, in the administrative region of Montérégie, southwest of province of Quebec, in Canada. The upper part of this watercourse crosses the agricultural zone between autoroute 30 and route 132. This upper part is mainly accessible via the chemin du rang Lustucru. The lower part passes the urban area of Boucherville by cutting De Montbrun street, De Montarville boulevard and route 132. The river surface is generally frozen from mid-December to the end of March. Safe circulation on the ice is generally done from the end of December to the beginning of March. The water level of the river varies with the seasons and the precipitation.

Marguerite-D'Youville is a former provincial electoral district in the Montérégie region of Quebec, Canada that elected members to the National Assembly of Quebec. As of its final election, it consisted of the cities of Boucherville and Sainte-Julie. It was created for the 1994 election from Bertrand and named after Saint Marie-Marguerite d'Youville, founder of the Order of Sisters of Charity of the Hôpital Général of Montreal. Its final election was in 2008. It disappeared in the 2012 election and the successor electoral district was Montarville.In the 1995 Quebec referendum it voted 59% for Quebec to separate.

Montréal/Boucherville Water Aerodrome (TC LID: CTA7) was located on the Saint Lawrence River near Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The airport was listed as abandoned in the 15 March 2007 Canada Flight Supplement.

Îles-de-Boucherville National Park is a provincial park of the province of Quebec. It is administered by Sépaq, the Société des établissements de plein air du Québec, which manages several Quebec parks and wildlife refuges. All provincial parks in Quebec have used the term "national park" since 2002, but there is no connection to the federal national park system, administered by Parks Canada.

The Louis-Hippolyte Lafontaine Bridge–Tunnel (French: Pont-Tunnel Louis-Hippolyte-La Fontaine) is a highway bridge–tunnel running over and beneath the Saint Lawrence River. It connects the Montreal borough of Mercier–Hochelaga-Maisonneuve with the south shore of the river at Longueuil, Quebec. Named after Lower Canada political reformer Louis-Hippolyte Lafontaine, the Lafontaine Tunnel is an immersed tube structure, measuring 1,391 m (4,563.6 ft) long. It carries the Autoroute 25 expressway and passes beneath the main shipping channel in the Saint Lawrence River immediately downstream from the Saint Lawrence Seaway. It surfaces on Île Charron (Îles de Boucherville at entrance/exit #1 of Autoroute 25), then continues by bridge to Longueuil. The bridge-tunnel sees about 120,000 daily crossings, of which 13% are trucks. Its construction began in 1963 and it opened on March 11, 1967.

Charron Island (French: Île Charron) is an island in the Saint Lawrence River, the westernmost of the Îles de Boucherville archipelago, near Îles-de-Boucherville National Park to the northeast of Montreal. It is part of the city of Longueuil, and is connected to the mainland and the Island of Montreal by the Louis-Hippolyte Lafontaine Bridge–Tunnel which carries Quebec Autoroute 25 and the Trans-Canada Highway.

Taillon is a provincial electoral district in the Montérégie region of Quebec, Canada that elects members to the National Assembly of Quebec. It comprises part of the borough of Le Vieux-Longueuil of the city of Longueuil. It was created for the 1966 election from Verchères and Chambly electoral districts. It was named after former Quebec Premier Louis-Olivier Taillon who was in power for four days in 1886 and from 1892 to 1896. It is best known as the riding of Parti Québécois founder René Lévesque, who served as premier from 1976 to 1985. For the better part of four decades after the PQ seized it in 1976, Taillon was a stronghold for both the PQ and the sovereigntist cause. In the 1995 Quebec referendum it voted 61% for Quebec to separate. However, in 2018, the Coalition Avenir Québec narrowly won it amid its near-sweep of Montérégie.

Parcours Île Charron (French: Parcours de disque-golf de l'île Charron), commonly known as "PIC", is an 18-hole disc golf course with dual concrete tees on Charron Island, in Longueuil, Quebec, to the northeast of Montreal. It was designed in 2012 by Mark Doucette from the Association Disc Golf Montréal (ADGM), and is set around the Centre d'épuration Rive-Sud (CERS) water treatment plant. The course is widely regarded as one of the top disc golf courses in Quebec.

Parc Michel-Chartrand, formerly known as the Parc régional de Longueuil, is a large park located in Longueuil, Quebec, Canada. It is located at 1895 Rue Adoncour in the borough of Le Vieux-Longueuil. It is 1,850,000 square metres (19,900,000 sq ft) in area. It offers 12.5 kilometres (7.8 mi) of Cross-country skiing trails and 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) of hiking trails.Its features include a marsh, three artificial lakes, a sundial, a playground, two pétanque terrains, a rest area with picnic tables, a slope for sledding, an ice rink and community gardens.Originally known as the Base de plein air de Longueuil (opened in 1975), it was renamed as the Parc régional de Longueuil, and renamed again as Parc Michel-Chartrand by the city of Longueuil in June 2010, after Quebec union activist Michel Chartrand.Until the mid 1980s, prior to the extension of the Boulevard Fernand-Lafontaine, the Chemin du Lac was open to through traffic between Longueuil and Boucherville.
