The Seminole Soccer Complex is a dedicated soccer park that includes over eleven fields and a soccer-specific stadium, located in Sanford, Seminole County, Florida. The facility is home to the Orlando City U-23 team (formerly known as the Central Florida Kraze). It has been used by the Central Florida Krush, and the Lake Mary High School football team. Heathrow is on the I-4 Corridor in Central Florida, 19 miles northeast of Orlando and 38 miles southwest of Daytona Beach. Heathrow was founded in 1985 by Jeno Paulucci, a food business entrepreneur. The area had been a source of celery used in making his Chun King Foods American Chinese style food. The population was 4,068 at the 2000 census. Heathrow is home to the national headquarters of the American Automobile Association (AAA). Heathrow is part of the Orlando–Kissimmee–Sanford Metropolitan Statistical Area.

The Twin Mounds Archeological District, also known as Wekiva 7 (8Or457) & Wekiva 8 (8Or459), is a U.S. historic district east of Sorrento, Florida. It is located on the west bank of the Wekiva River, seven miles south of its confluence with the St. Johns River. On January 19, 1992, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.

The Retreat at Twin Lakes is a gated community in the US city of Sanford, Florida. It was the site of the killing of Trayvon Martin by George Zimmerman. The community initially consisted of 1,400-square-foot (130 m2) townhouses which sold on average for $250,000, but had values below $100,000 by February 2012 due in large part to the financial crisis of 2007–2008.

On the evening of February 26, 2012, in Sanford, Florida, United States, George Zimmerman fatally shot Trayvon Martin, a 17-year-old African-American. Blackwater Creek is an approximately 19 mile riverine feature in Florida. The creek flows from Lake Norris and has a confluence with the Wekiva River near where it in turn flows into the St. Johns River. The upper sections of Black Creek are traversed by kayak and canoe.
