Marsh Creek State Park

Marsh Creek Lake is a man-made lake that resulted from the construction of a dam across Marsh Creek, filling a valley that prompted the relocation of residents from Milford Mills, Pennsylvania to higher ground. The reasons for creating the lake were "... frequent flooding, water shortages and lack of recreational opportunities for nearby population centers...."The lake is bordered by Marsh Creek State Park to the east and Lyndell, Pennsylvania to the west.

Marshall's Bridge is a historic stone arch bridge located in East Brandywine Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania. It spans Culbertson Run and is right next to Bridge Mill Farm. The farm has five contributing buildings and two contributing structures. They are a 1 1/2-story stone grist mill dated to the late-18th century, three- to four-story banked farmhouse (1842), three level stone barn, Italianate style outhouse (1842), two-story stone and frame carriage house (c. 1890), cistern, and stone arch bridge (1903).It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

The township included the community of Milford Mills before it was inundated by the creation of the Marsh Creek Dam in 1972. The main population center of the township has grown surrounding the historic Eagle Tavern at the intersection of Route 100 and Little Conestoga Road. This major unincorporated community is known as the village of Eagle, but also sometimes known as Uwchlan. That is the address of the local post office.
