Marsh Creek Lake

Marsh Creek State Park is a 1,705 acres (690 ha) Pennsylvania state park in Upper Uwchlan and Wallace Townships, Chester County, Pennsylvania in the United States. The park is the location of the 535-acre (217 ha) man-made Marsh Creek Lake. With an average depth of 40 feet (73 feet at its deepest), the lake is stocked with fish and is a stop for migrating waterfowl. Marsh Creek State Park is 2 miles (3.2 km) west of Eagle on Pennsylvania Route 100. Park road hours 8:00 am until sunset. All other access open 24 hours.

Marshall's Bridge is a historic stone arch bridge located in East Brandywine Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania. It spans Culbertson Run and is right next to Bridge Mill Farm. It has two arch spans, one is 20-foot-long (6.1 m) and the second is 19-foot-long (5.8 m). The bridge was constructed in 1903 of stone with brick arch rings.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.

Bridge Mill Farm, also known as Bridge Mill Creamery and Marshall Farm, is a historic home and farm located in East Brandywine Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania. The farm has five contributing buildings and two contributing structures. They are a 1 1/2-story stone grist mill dated to the late-18th century, three- to four-story banked farmhouse (1842), three level stone barn, Italianate style outhouse (1842), two-story stone and frame carriage house (c. 1890), cistern, and stone arch bridge (1903).It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

Upper Uwchlan Township (; [ˈɪuxlan]) is a township in Chester County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 11,227 at the 2010 census. The township included the community of Milford Mills before it was inundated by the creation of the Marsh Creek Dam in 1972. The main population center of the township has grown surrounding the historic Eagle Tavern at the intersection of Route 100 and Little Conestoga Road. This major unincorporated community is known as the village of Eagle, but also sometimes known as Uwchlan. That is the address of the local post office.

The congregation was founded in Coatesville in 1904 as Kesher Israel by Eastern European immigrants, and formally chartered as "Beth Israel" in 1916. It constructed its first building in 1923, and expanded it after World War II.Linda Joy Holtzman was appointed rabbi in 1979, the first female rabbi appointed to lead a Conservative congregation in the United States. Holtzman served until 1985, and was succeeded by Michael Charney. The congregation purchased its current property in 1989, and completed its facility there in 1995. Charney was succeeded in 2015 by Jon Cutler.
