Mambourin, Victoria

Manor is a closed station which was located about halfway between Werribee and Little River stations on the Geelong railway line in Victoria, Australia. A signal box was opened at the site in February 1911, controlling a new crossing loop on the single line between Werribee and Little River. Passenger and goods facilities were provided in August 1914. At the start of the 1920s, the Victorian Railways opened a bluestone quarry 1.5 kilometres south of the station, to provide track ballast. The quarry was served by a long siding, parallel with the main line, leading from station yard. The quarry probably ceased operating in the 1930s. Manor was closed in November 1970 when the line between Werribee and Little River was duplicated, making the crossing loop redundant. The buildings and platform were demolished shortly afterwards. A crossing loop with the same name, located slightly to the north of the station site, was provided on the parallel Western standard gauge line when it opened in 1995. Manor is also where the Regional Rail Link branches from the direct Geelong-Melbourne rail line.

Little River railway station is located on the Warrnambool line in Victoria, Australia. It serves the town of Little River, and it opened on 1 January 1857. It was renamed Bulban on 2 May 1910, and was renamed Little River 9 December 1912.

Wyndham Vale railway station is located on the Deer Park–West Werribee line in Victoria, Australia. It serves the western Melbourne suburbs of Wyndham Vale and Manor Lakes, and opened on 14 June 2015.Built as part of the Regional Rail Link project, it was officially opened by Premier Daniel Andrews and the federal Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development, Warren Truss, with services commencing on 21 June 2015.A turnback siding is located between the two running lines just to the south of the station, used for peak hour terminating services from Melbourne. A stabling yard has also been built to the north of the station. Construction began in mid-2018, and the sidings were opened in April 2020.Under the Western Rail Plan, announced by the Andrews State Government in 2018, the station will eventually become part of the metropolitan railway network.

Quandong recorded no population at the 2021 census.It shares its name with a number of wild bush plants and their edible fruits, and is also not to be confused with the locality of Quantong in the Rural City of Horsham.

Wyndham Vale is a suburb in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, 31 km (19 mi) south-west of Melbourne's Central Business District, one of the fastest growing suburbs of Melbourne, located within the City of Wyndham local government area. Wyndham Vale recorded a population of 20,518 at the 2021 census.The suburb of Manor Lakes was part of Wyndham Vale until 15 April 2021, when it was officially gazetted as its own suburb.

The Western Treatment Plant (formerly the Metropolitan Sewage Farm or, more commonly, the Werribee Sewage Farm) is a 110 km2 (42 sq mi) sewage treatment plant in Cocoroc, Victoria, Australia, 30 km (19 mi) west of Melbourne's central business district, on the coast of Port Phillip Bay. It was completed in 1897 by the Melbourne and Metropolitan Board of Works (MMBW), and is currently operated by Melbourne Water. The plant's land is bordered by the Werribee River to the east, the Princes Freeway to the north, and Avalon Airport to the west. It forms part of the Port Phillip Bay (Western Shoreline) and Bellarine Peninsula Ramsar Site as a wetland of international importance. The Western Treatment Plant treats around fifty percent of Melbourne's sewage — about 485 megalitres or 393 acre-feet per day — and generates almost 40,000 megalitres or 32,000 acre-feet of recycled water a year. (The Eastern Treatment Plant treats 40%.)

Cocoroc is a rural locality in Victoria, Australia, 37 km (23 mi) south-west of Melbourne's Central Business District, located within the City of Wyndham local government area. Cocoroc recorded no population at the 2021 census.

Werribee Racecourse is a disused station located between Werribee and Little River stations in Werribee, south-west Melbourne, Australia. The station was provided to serve the nearby Werribee Racecourse.When line from Newport to Werribee was electrified in the 1980s, Werribee Racecourse station was originally to be part of the system. Overhead stanchions were built along one track as far as the station, but they were never wired. The safeworking system used on the line does not permit a train to terminate and reverse once inside a signalling section, so without modifications to the signalling system, electric trains going to Werribee Racecourse station could not have returned to Werribee.The station has been unused since 1995 when the Western standard gauge line was built to the west of the platform, making it impossible to get to the station from the racecourse without crossing the standard gauge track. There have been calls to extend the overhead to the station to the serve the growing areas west of Werribee.

Lake Borrie Wetlands is a coastal wetland that is located in the Greater Geelong region of Victoria, Australia. The wetland is situated within the Western Treatment Plant at Werribee; administered by Melbourne Water. Fed by run off from the Little River, the 70-hectare (170-acre) wetland forms part of the Port Phillip Bay (Western Shoreline) and Bellarine Peninsula Ramsar Site as a wetland of international importance. Thousands of birds amongst more than 270 different species can be found there. The lake is part of the Werribee and Avalon Important Bird Area, identified as such by BirdLife International because of its importance for wetland and waterbirds as well as for orange-bellied parrots.The lake was named in honour of Edwin Fullarton Borrie, a civil engineer and town planner in Melbourne.

Wurdi Youang is the name attributed to an Aboriginal stone arrangement located off the Little River – Ripley Road at Mount Rothwell, near Little River, Victoria in Australia. The site was acquired by the Indigenous Land Corporation on 14 January 2000 and transferred to the Wathaurong Aboriginal Co-operative on 17 August 2006.
