Nemanjina Street (Serbian: Немањина улица / Nemanjina ulica, English: Nemanja Street) is a very important thoroughfare in downtown Belgrade, Serbia, in the Savski Venac municipality. After the completion of the construction of the Railway station in 1884, it became one of the city's main infrastructure links. The street got its name in 1896, when it was named after a Serbian ruler from the 12th century, Stefan Nemanja.

Science Fund of the Republic of Serbia is a public organization that supports science and research. It was established in January 2019 by the Government of Serbia, with the aim of providing funding and creating an enabling environment for the continuous development of scientific and research activities in the Republic of Serbia, which are, in turn, the conditions necessary for the progress of a knowledge-based society. The work of the Science Fund of the Republic of Serbia is monitored by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development (Serbia). The Science Fund supports projects with sustainable goals, clear concepts, and systematic and well-designed working methodologies. High-level scientific excellence, quality, and innovative ideas represent the fundamental values of all projects supported by the Science Fund of the Republic of Serbia. The Science Fund's activities are represented through research, as well as through technological and developmental programs. Their goal is to achieve the strategic objectives of scientific and technological development of the Republic of Serbia. The operation of the Science Fund of the Republic of Serbia will also support scientists to cooperate with industry as well as with the scientific diaspora.

Through the history of Yugoslavia, the defence ministry which was responsible for defence of the country was known under several different names. The Ministry of the Army and Navy was responsible for defence of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia from 1918 to 1941, the Federal Secretariat of People's Defence for the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia from 1945 to 1992 and the Ministry of Defence for Serbia and Montenegro (officially named the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia between 1992 and 2003) from 1992 to 2006.
