The London Irish Centre is a charity based in Camden, London, which has served the Irish community since 1955.The charity originated in a fund established in 1954 by the Catholic Church (the Irish Priests Committee) to provide support for young Irish emigrants in London, and many of its staff in the early years were priests and other members of the Catholic Church. With a recession in Ireland in the mid-20th century, and Britain in need of workers in a number of industries and services, tens of thousands of Irish people migrated to Britain. The centre itself opened in 1955, providing accommodation (serving as a hostel in its early years), employment support and a starting point to those arriving. The Camden Square location was chosen for its proximity to Euston Station, where Irish people disembarked their trains from Holyhead Ferry Port. The London Irish Centre also became a hub of social activity, with dinners, dances and social functions. In its history, the centre has hosted visits from Presidents of Ireland Mary Robinson (in 1993) and Michael D. Higgins (in 2012).The charity's focus remains in "providing assistance to Irish expatriates in London, whether they have been there for decades or have just arrived". In addition to the Camden Square site, the charity also has offices in West Kensington and Kilburn.

Camden Square is a rectangular town square in the London Borough of Camden running parallel to Camden Road north of central Camden. It has a playground and dog walking area, and St Paul's Church is at the north end. It has a perimeter of 200 metres (660 ft). At the south end is the London Irish Centre, which has served the boroughs' Irish community for over sixty years.

Camden Road railway station was the first station by that name in Camden, North London. Opened by the Midland Railway in 1868, it was immediately to the north of the 205 yard Camden Tunnels on the Midland Main Line and the first stop from St Pancras station. In 1870 the North London Railway opened its Camden station, then called 'Camden Town', half a mile to the south west.. This should not be confused with Camden Town Underground station which opened in 1907. It was not until 1950 that there stopped being two 'Camden Town' stations, when the North London Railway station was renamed 'Camden Road'. For a short period from 1878 and 1880, the MR operated the Super Outer Circle service through the station from St. Pancras to Earl's Court Underground station via tracks through Cricklewood, then using the Dudding Hill Line to South Acton and Hammersmith.The station was closed, as were others, in 1916 as a wartime economy measure, and was not re-opened. The station buildings remained for many years before being replaced by a petrol station, and later by a car showroom.

St Paul's Church is a church dedicated to Paul the Apostle on Camden Square in Camden, north London. It is called St Paul's because the estate was owned originally by the canons of St Paul's Cathedral. It was built in 1849 to designs by Frederick W. Ordish and John Johnson. The builder, John Kelk (later knighted) built the Albert Memorial. The church was severely damaged in the Second World War and replaced with a single-storey church hall building which, though meant to be temporary, still houses the church's congregation at one end. Plans for a replacement were put forward in July 2008, incorporating the hall as well as new social housing and worship area. It and its parish are part of the St Pancras team of parishes, which also includes St Pancras Old Church, St Michael's Church, Camden Town, and St Mary's Church, Somers Town.

Camden Road is a main road in London running from the junction of Camden High Street and Camden Town Underground station up to Holloway Road. It is part of the A503 which continues east as Tollington Road.

The Camden School for Girls (CSG) is a comprehensive secondary school for girls, with a co-educational sixth form, in the London Borough of Camden in north London. It has about one thousand students of ages eleven to eighteen, and specialist-school status as a Music College. The school has long been associated with the advancement of women's education.

The Constitution is a long-established public house on St Pancras Way in Camden Town, London, owned by Young's Brewery. Opened in 1858 in what was then Agar Town, it overlooks Regent's Canal.Pubs of Distinction acquired the pub in 2015 before putting it up for sale in 2019.In 2020, it was acquired by Young's Brewery, who suddenly closed it down. It remained empty for three years until work began on restoring it in July 2023. It is due to reopen in 2024.

St Pancras Way is a road in Camden Town, London. It was formerly a toll road named Kings Road, and was the location of the St Pancras Workhouse, which is now the site of St Pancras Hospital. It was renamed to St Pancras Way in 1937.At one point, part of the River Fleet followed the route of St Pancras Way.The Constitution pub is situated at the crossing point of St Pancras Way with Regent's Canal.

Agar Town (also known as Ague Town, Hagar Town, Agar-Town and Agar-town) was a short-lived relatively tiny area of St Pancras in central London. It is now the site of St Pancras railway station.

The Maiden Lane Estate is a housing estate in Camden, located beside York Way and several railway lines. It was designed by the architects George Benson and Alan Forsyth, and built between 1979 and 1982.

St Luke's Kentish Town is an active Church of England parish church on Oseney Crescent in Kentish Town, North London, closed from 1991 to 2011 and now hosting a Holy Trinity Brompton church plant. The church has been designated by English Heritage as a Grade II* listed building,One of its missions is combatting gun and knife crime, though there is no dedicated programme to do so.

Camden Road railway station is located at the junction of Royal College Street and Camden Road. The nearest London Underground station to Royal College Street is Camden Town which is about five minutes' walk to the south-west along Camden Road.
