Mirabel (provincial electoral district)

The Bois de Belle-Rivière Regional Park (also referred to as: Bois-de-Belle-Rivière Regional Educational Park) is a regional park located in the city of Mirabel, in the administrative region of Basses-Laurentides, in Quebec, Canada. This regional park is open year round.

Saint-Benoît, Quebec was a municipality in Quebec until its amalgamation with neighbouring towns in 1971 to form the town of Sainte-Scholastique, which was renamed Mirabel in 1973. The village was named after Saint Benedict of Nursia (in French, Benoît).

Argenteuil—Papineau—Mirabel (formerly known as Argenteuil, Argenteuil—Papineau and Argenteuil—Deux-Montagnes) was a federal electoral district in Quebec, Canada, that was represented in the House of Commons of Canada from 1867 to 2015.

The Domaine et manoir de Belle-Rivière (in English: estate and manor) is a heritage building built in 1804, located in the Sainte-Scholastique sector, of the city of Mirabel, in the administrative region of Laurentides, in Quebec, in Canada. This seigneurial estate is located at 8106 rue de Belle-Rivière, in Mirabel. This heritage building is now the property of the cégep de Saint-Jérôme, where its environmental training centre is located.

Saint-Joseph-du-Lac is a municipality in the Laurentides region of Quebec, Canada, part of the Deux-Montagnes Regional County Municipality.

Mirabel was a former regional county municipality whose territory coincided with the city of Mirabel, Quebec. It was established in 1985, whereas the city itself had been constituted in 1971. It ceased to exist by January 1, 2002, in the midst of the early 2000s municipal reorganization in Quebec. Although the city of Mirabel itself was unaffected, legislation gave newly constituted cities arising from that municipal reorganization the powers of a regional county municipality for the purpose of certain laws, and Mirabel got similar powers. Today, Mirabel is not part of any regional county municipality; for statistical and census purposes, it is considered a territory equivalent to a regional county municipality.

The village of Sainte-Scholastique, Quebec, Canada, was the historic seat of Deux Montagnes County from 1834 until its amalgamation with neighbouring towns in 1971. Two years later, it was renamed to Mirabel. The village was named after Saint Scholastica, the sister of St. Benedict of Nursia (in French, Benoît), for whom the neighboring village of Saint-Benoît, Quebec was also named that same year. Its location was 1 km (1000 yards) south of the apron of the modern Montréal-Mirabel International Airport's runway 10.

The Autodrome Saint-Eustache was a motor sport complex in Saint-Eustache, Quebec, Canada. Established in 1965, it contained a 0.40 mi (0.64 km) paved oval and a 1.10 mi (1.77 km) paved road course with hot pits, grandstands and services. The oval circuit hosted NASCAR Whelen All-American Series weekly racing, with drivers racing for both the province (Quebec) and the rest of North America. Its premier event was the NASCAR Pinty's Series which raced at the track since the creation of the series. The track also formerly held CASCAR Super Series events. In an agreement with the City of Saint-Eustache, the property was sold to Hydro-Québec at the end of the 2019 racing season. The expanding infrastructure of the city of Saint-Eustache was cited as the main reason for the track's demise.

The Abbey of Notre-Dame du Lac (fr. Abbaye Notre-Dame du Lac), known as the Oka Abbey (fr. Abbaye Cistercienne d'Oka), was a Trappist Cistercian monastery located in Oka, Quebec. The main monastery building is of grey stone; it has a dozen outbuildings, all of which are situated on a 270-hectare property. With a decline in the number of monks by the early 21st century, the monastery decided to end operations there and established a non-profit centre at the abbey to preserve the site's heritage.

The Mirabel Aerospace Centre (MAC), in Mirabel, Quebec, supports flight testing for Pratt & Whitney Canada engines, including turboprops and turbofans up to 90,000 pounds (41,000 kg) of thrust. A 300,000-square-foot (28,000 m2) facility, the Mirabel Aerospace Centre represents a $360-million investment. Approximately 300 people are employed at the facility located within Montréal–Mirabel International Airport.

Mirabel is a suburb of Montreal, located on the North Shore in southern Quebec. Mirabel is also the name of a territory equivalent to a regional county municipality (TE) and census division (CD) of Quebec, coextensive with the city of Mirabel. Its geographical code is 74. Prior to 2002, Mirabel was not only a city but also comprised the Mirabel Regional County Municipality. The city is home to Montréal–Mirabel International Airport.

École secondaire d'Oka (ESO) is a public Francophone secondary school in Oka, Quebec, operated by the Commission scolaire de la Seigneurie-des-Mille-Îles (CSSMI). It serves Oka, Kanesatake, Saint-Joseph-du-Lac, Saint-Placide, parts of Mirabel, and parts of Saint-Eustache.
