Fort Bema

Parysów (Polish pronunciation: [paˈrɨsuf]) is a neighbourhood in the Bemowo district of Warsaw, Poland, within the City Information System area of Fort Bema. It is a small area, centred along Waldorffa Street, and featuring a few historic villas dating to the 1920s. Parysów was founded in the 16th century as a farming community. It was incorporated into the city in 1951, and was acquired by the military in the 1970s, before being privatised at the turn of the 21st century.

Major Wanda Gertz (13 April 1896 – 10 November 1958) was a Polish woman of noble birth, who began her military career in the Polish Legion during World War I, dressed as a man, under the pseudonym of "Kazimierz 'Kazik' Żuchowicz". She subsequently served in the Ochotnicza Legia Kobiet (Women's Voluntary Legion) of the Polish Armed Forces during the Polish–Soviet War. In the interwar period she became a reserve officer but faced discrimination and was stripped of her officer rank. She worked closely with Marshal Piłsudski and remained an activist in the cause of women in the military. With the outbreak of World War II her experience and skills in Special operations were ultimately recognised by military men and having joined the resistance in 1939 under codename, "Lena", she became an officer and commander of an all-female battalion in the Home Army. She was awarded the highest Polish military honours, a singular rarity for any woman of her generation to achieve.

Powązki Military Cemetery (Polish pronunciation: [pɔˈvɔ̃skʲi]; Polish: Cmentarz Wojskowy na Powązkach) is an old military cemetery located in the Żoliborz district, western part of Warsaw, Poland. The cemetery is often confused with the older Powązki Cemetery, known colloquially as "Old Powązki". The Old Powązki cemetery is located to the south-east of the military cemetery. The military cemetery holds the graves of many who have fought and died for their country since the early 19th century, including a large number involved in the 1920 Battle of Warsaw, the September 1939 Campaign, and the ill-fated 1944 Warsaw Uprising against Nazi Germany.

Koło is one of the neighbourhoods of the Wola district of Warsaw, Poland. It is bounded to the north and west by the border with Bemowo, to the south by Górczewska Street and to the east by the Warsaw Circumferal railway line.

The Christian Theological Academy in Warsaw (ChAT) (Polish: Chrześcijańska Akademia Teologiczna w Warszawie) is a non-profit public university in Warsaw. It was established in 1954. Karol Wolfram was a former professor and pro-rector of the university.

The Suppression of Wawrzyszew (Polish: Pacyfikacja Wawrzyszewa) was a pacification operation during the Second World War, enacted by German forces on the population of the village of Wawrzyszew (now part of Warsaw, Poland). It took place on 3 August 1944, during the Warsaw Uprising, and as part of it, 30 inhabitants of the village were killed, the buildings set on fire, and remaining population displaced.

Bemowo-Lotnisko (Bemowo-Airfield), also known as Nowe Bemowo (New Bemowo), is a neighbourhood and City Information System area in the Bemowo district of Warsaw, Poland. It is a residential area dominated by mid- and high-rise housing estates with apartment buildings. It also features a portion of the Warsaw Babice Airport, with several hangars and taxiways. The Warsaw Babice Airport was built in the area between 1946 and 1950. Originally used by the military, it was scaled down at the end of the 1980s, with one of its two runways being removed, and eventually opened for civilian use in 1991. Throughout the 1980s, several housing estates with apartment buildings, were developed within the neighbourhood.

Ulrychów is an under construction station on the western part of Line M2 of the Warsaw Metro. It is located by Górczewska Street, in the vicinity of the Wola Park shopping mall in Wola district.

Metro Stare Bielany became the 19th working station on Line M1 of the Warsaw Metro when it opened on 25 October 2008 as part of the extension from Słodowiec to Młociny. It had been under construction since June, 2006. Originally, the station was to be called Bielany. The station is distinctive due to a series of wooden relief sculptures on the walls.
