Chomicz Park

Chomiczówka is a neighbourhood, and a City Information System area, in Warsaw, Poland, located within the district of Bielany.

The Suppression of Wawrzyszew (Polish: Pacyfikacja Wawrzyszewa) was a pacification operation during the Second World War, enacted by German forces on the population of the village of Wawrzyszew (now part of Warsaw, Poland). It took place on 3 August 1944, during the Warsaw Uprising, and as part of it, 30 inhabitants of the village were killed, the buildings set on fire, and remaining population displaced.

Fort Bema is a neighbourhood and City Information System area in the Bemowo district of Warsaw, Poland. It is a residential neighbourhood with mid- and high-rise multifamily housing, and is centred around the Bem Fort, historical 19th-century fortifications, which surroundings now form a park. By the 16th century, a village of Parysów was located within the area. In 1890, there was built the Fort P as part pf the city fortifications, which was later decomitioned in 1909. From the 1950s to 1970s, it was a supply base for the nearby Warsaw Babice Airport. In the first quarter of the 21st century, the multifamily housing estates were developed around it.

Bielany (Polish pronunciation: [bʲɛˈlanɨ]) is a district in Warsaw located in the north-western part of the city. Initially a part of Żoliborz, Bielany has been an independent district since 1994. Bielany borders Żoliborz to the south-east, and Bemowo to the south-west. Its north-eastern border is the Vistula River, and the northern-western border is also the limits of the city of Warsaw. The name 'Bielany', which in Polish is plural, derives from the white habits of the Camaldolese monks who have an ancient priory there. It is also known for the Józef Piłsudski University of Physical Education in Warsaw, which was established 1929 when it was known as the Central Institute for Physical Education (C.I.W.F.), as well as the newly built Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University.

Piaski is a neighbourhood, and an area of the City Information System, in the city of Warsaw, Poland, located within the district of Bielany.

Metro Wawrzyszew, located at the corner of Kasprowicza and Lindego Street, became the 20th working station on Line M1 of the Warsaw Metro when it opened on 25 October 2008 as part of the extension from Słodowiec to Młociny. It was designed by Polish architect Andrzej M. Chołdzyński.

Młociny is a Warsaw Metro station serving as a northern terminus to Line M1. It is situated within Warsaw administrative boundaries and Public Transport Authority's ticketing zone 1, in the osiedle Młociny of the dzielnica Bielany, in a close proximity to Warsaw's ArcelorMittal steelworks. The station opened on 25 October 2008 and is the final northern extension of Line M1. It was designed by Polish architect Andrzej M. Chołdzyński.The area beyond the station has been remodelled into a major public transportation junction after Młociny opened. It is served by trams and both urban and suburban buses. Although there are no plans to extend Line M1 further, the station is built in such way that it will be possible to do so if need be.The trains are turned back at sidings behind Młociny. Terminating trains arrive at eastern side platform, whereas southbound trains depart from western side platform.

The Confederation Square (Polish: Plac Konfederacji) is an urban square in Warsaw. It is located in the district of Bielany, at the crossing of Płatnicza Street, Lipińska Street, Schroegera Street, and Daniłowskiego Street. The square was build in the late 1920s.

Bemowo-Lotnisko (Bemowo-Airfield), also known as Nowe Bemowo (New Bemowo), is a neighbourhood and City Information System area in the Bemowo district of Warsaw, Poland. It is a residential area dominated by mid- and high-rise housing estates with apartment buildings. It also features a portion of the Warsaw Babice Airport, with several hangars and taxiways. The Warsaw Babice Airport was built in the area between 1946 and 1950. Originally used by the military, it was scaled down at the end of the 1980s, with one of its two runways being removed, and eventually opened for civilian use in 1991. Throughout the 1980s, several housing estates with apartment buildings, were developed within the neighbourhood.

Warsaw-Babice (ICAO code: EPBC) is an airport in Warsaw, located in the residential district of Bemowo, near the border with the district of Bielany. It is also unofficially known as Bemowo. The airport is administered by the Centre for Logistics "Warsaw-Babice" (Centrum Usług Logistycznych "Lotnisko Warszawa-Babice") and organisations based there include: the Warsaw Aero Club (Aeroklub Warszawski) and Polish Air Rescue (Lotnicze Pogotowie Ratunkowe). It has been used for various events and celebrity arrivals including Michael Jackson (1996), Madonna (2009), AC/DC (2010), and the Sonisphere Festival (2010, 2011, 2012).

The Operation Bielany (Polish: Akcja Bielany) was a sabotage operation during the Second World War, organized by the Directorate of Diversion of the Home Army. At night of 3 and 4 May 1944, a small partisant division had set explosives at the Bielany Aerodrome, then used as a Luftwaffe base, successfully destroying eight aircrafts, and retreating without enduring casualties.

Parysów (Polish pronunciation: [paˈrɨsuf]) is a neighbourhood in the Bemowo district of Warsaw, Poland, within the City Information System area of Fort Bema. It is a small area, centred along Waldorffa Street, and featuring a few historic villas dating to the 1920s. Parysów was founded in the 16th century as a farming community. It was incorporated into the city in 1951, and was acquired by the military in the 1970s, before being privatised at the turn of the 21st century.
