The TCDD Open Air Steam Locomotive Museum (Turkish: TCDD Açık Hava Buharlı Lokomotif Müzesi) is a railroad museum in Ankara, Turkey, which focuses on the history of steam locomotives that operated on the Turkish State Railways. The museum was originally located in a park adjacent to Ankara Central Station, and when the property was needed for the station's enlargement project in 2014, the museum was moved to the current location near Wonderland Eurasia. The museum is owned and operated by the Turkish State Railways (TCDD), who also manages the Ankara Railway History Museum, as well as Atatürk's Car and Railway Art Museum.

Wonderland Eurasia, previously known as Ankapark, was an amusement park in Ankara, Turkey. Opened in 2019, the park had 17 roller coasters, the second-most worldwide. It was closed permanently in February 2020.

Marşandiz railway station is a railway station on the Başkentray commuter rail line in Ankara, Turkey. It is located adjacent to Marşandiz Yard and services mainly railway employees who work there. In July 2016, the station was closed down ad subsequently demolished and rebuilt as part of the Başkentray rehabilitation project. The new station site was moved about 200 m (660 ft) east and opened on 12 April 2018. Marşandiz station also replaced Motor Fabrikası station, which closed down in 2016, hence the relocation to the east. Before 2016, the station had one exit to Anadolu Boulevard, which crossed the tracks on a north-south axis. The new station will no longer have access to the Boulevard and will instead have exits to Güvercinlik Avenue and Güvercin Road. Marşandiz station was opened in 1944 by the Turkish State Railways, along with the yard maintenance facilities.On 13 December 2018, a fatal collision between a high-speed passenger train and a maintenance locomotive occurred at the station. Nine people were killed and more than 80 others were injured.

On 13 December 2018, a high-speed passenger train and a locomotive collided near Yenimahalle in Ankara Province, Turkey. Three cars (carriages/coaches) of the passenger train derailed in the collision. Three railroad engineers and five passengers were killed at the scene, and 84 people were injured. Another injured passenger later succumbed to injuries, and 34 passengers, including two in critical condition, were treated in several hospitals.

Macunköy, is a surface rapid transit station of the Ankara Metro. Currently, only one line is in operation at this station. The station was opened on 29 December 1997, the same day that the M1 line opened. This station is the main depot station in Ankara Metro (the other depot station being located at Koru station). Trains are added to and removed from the system from this station. The 3rd rail is located in the middle of the station is used to store the backup train or the removal process of the trains. The addition process is done with a railway switch that connects to the mainline from the 4th line close to the station.

The TFF Ankara Tennis Training Center was built to international standards by the Turkish Tennis Federation within the Atatürk Forest Farm and Zoo in Yenimahalle District of Ankara Province, Turkey. Late October 2023, still in final construction, a test tournament for the facility was held at the Center Court in the form of the 100th Anniversary Republic Cup Masters Tennis Tournament with the participation of 398 athletes between the ages of 18-65. It was officially opened with a ceremony attended by high government officials and following tennis festival on 20 August 2025. The complex features a total of 13 tennis courts including a Center Court with 3,500 seating capacity, five hardcourts and seven clay courts. It is the first and the only tennis complex in Turkey to hold a tournament on courts of two different surfaces simultaneously. The facility is capable of hosting highest-leveldomestic and internatipnal tennis events.

Atatürk Forest Farm and Zoo (Turkish: Atatürk Orman Çiftliği ve Hayvanat Bahçesi, in short AOÇ) is an expansive recreational farming area, which houses a zoo, several small agricultural farms, greenhouses, restaurants, a dairy farm and a brewery in Ankara, Turkey. The farm and the zoo are under the administration of the Ministry of Agriculture and Village Affairs.

Gazi station is a historic station in Ankara, Turkey. Built in 1926 by the Turkish State Railways, the station building is notable for its Turkish Neoclassical architectural style, designed by Turkish architect Burhaneddin Tamcı. Situated next to the Atatürk Forest Farm, the station was a stop on the Ankara suburban and Ankara-Polatlı Regional trains until 2016 when all train service (except high-speed) was suspended within Ankara. The station platforms are currently being rebuilt as part of TCDD's Başkentray project. The new station is expected to open on 12 April 2018.

Behiçbey railway station (Turkish: Behiçbey istasyonu) is a railway station in Ankara, Turkey, currently being rebuilt. The station was a stop on the Ankara suburban from the 1930s to 2016 when it was closed and demolished shortly after, in order to rebuild and expand the railway. Construction of the new station began in 2017 and is expected to open on 12 April 2018.Behiçbey station was originally built in the early 1930s by the Turkish State Railways as Bahçekapı railway station. In 1961, the station was renamed Behiçbey in honor of Behiç Erkin, the first minister of railways in Turkey.The new station consists of an island platform serving two tracks, within a five-track railway. South of the platform are two tracks for mainline and YHT high-speed trains, while the track north of the platform is a bi-directional track for freight trains and equipment moves.

OSTIM Technical University (Turkish: OSTİM Teknik Üniversitesi) is a private university in Ankara, Turkey. It is the first and only private technical university in Turkey.

The MİT Museum of Espionage (Turkish: MİT Casusluk Müzesi) is a non-public museum owned by the Turkish National İntelligence Organization (Turkish: Milli İstihbarat Teşkilatı, MİT) and located in Ankara, Turkey. Situated within the campus of the MİT, it is dedicated to the history of espionage featuring a collection of spying equipment. In 2011, during the celebration of MİT's 85th anniversary of foundation, it was learnt that the institution owns a spy museum. The internal museum opened its door for the first time to the public in history in October 2013 upon request by a major Turkish daily. Only historical spying artifacts used between World War II and the end of Cold War were on display while contemporary "top-secret" labeled instruments remained still locked up.The instruments on display in glass cases, categorized as "technical documentation", consist of equipment for espionage techniques in voice (eavesdropping, call recording) and image processing (photograph, video frame) as well as monitoring (audio surveillance, wiretapping). The c.150 exhibited items include a voice-recording watch, a bug-hiding shoe wedge, a radio transmitter disguised as a personal weighing scale, holed iron bolts, soap and stone piece for hiding encrypted documents or codebook (block cipher) as well as various pieces of spying equipment in the form of utensils like pens, plug fuses, etc. Also bugs, detected in buildings of Turkish diplomatic missions abroad in the Cold War era between 1967 and 1989, are on display. The information about at which operation or where that espionage equipment is used is kept still secret.

The Presidential Complex (Turkish: Cumhurbaşkanlığı Külliyesi) is the presidential residence of the Republic of Turkey. The complex is located in the Beştepe neighborhood of Ankara, inside the Atatürk Forest Farm.In accordance with President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's "New Turkey" concept, it was envisaged that the Çankaya Presidential Mansion would become the prime ministerial complex and the president would move to the newly built palace. This occurred soon after the June 2015 general election, when the palace was officially made the residence of the President of Turkey. It was formally inaugurated as the official residence of the president by Erdoğan on the country's Republic Day, 29 October 2014.President Erdoğan proposed to call the new presidential residence Cumhurbaşkanlığı Külliyesi, referring to a traditional complex centered on a mosque. This was formally adopted as the residence's official name on 3 July 2015. The building cost was double the initial estimate of more than US$600 million. The Presidential Complex is home to the country's largest library with five million books.
