Grand Traverse Mall is an enclosed shopping mall serving Traverse City, Michigan, located in Garfield Township. Opened in 1992, the mall features four anchor stores: J. C. Penney, Target, Dunham's Sports, and Macy's. It is managed by Brookfield Properties, the successor of its original developer General Growth Properties.

The school started in 2021. Greenspire has offered grades 9 through 12. Students are offered a wide variety of classes, some of which are held outside, enrollment at Career Tech Center (aka. CTC), and the option to dual enroll and attend classes at Northwestern Michigan College.

The Boardman River Nature Center is a nature center in Traverse City, Michigan. It is operated by the Grand Traverse Conservation District, a regional parkland authority. The nature center is dedicated to educating residents of Grand Traverse County about the animals and plants of the area, especially those native to the Boardman River valley.

Sabin Dam was a hydroelectric dam on the Boardman River in Grand Traverse County, Michigan. It was owned by the county as a recreational site, but it was formerly owned and used by Traverse City Light & Power. The dam was located about 5.3 miles (8.5 km) upstream from the mouth of the Boardman River at Grand Traverse Bay.

Thirlby Field (officially Thirlby Field at Harry T. Running Stadium) is a 7,000-seat football stadium located in Traverse City, Michigan. It is the last Kirkbride Building of Michigan's original four left in the state. The hospital also serves as a regional referral center for 24 counties in northern Michigan. It is one of two Level II Trauma Centers, north of Grand Rapids, with the other being UP Health System - Marquette. It also has the only Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in northern Michigan. Munson Medical Center has been designated as a Primary Stroke Center by the Joint Commission, and is a Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence. Munson also offers the only inpatient Behavioral Health services in northern Michigan. Munson Medical Center is the largest of nine Munson Healthcare system hospitals located throughout northern Michigan. It has a medical staff of 420 physicians representing more than 50 specialty services and employs 3,700 people. As part of Munson Healthcare, it is the largest employer north of US 10. In addition to Munson Healthcare system hospitals, Munson Medical Center works closely with Helen Devos Children's Hospital in Grand Rapids, the University of Michigan Health System, in Ann Arbor, MidMichigan Medical Center - Alpena in Alpena, and War Memorial Hospital in Sault Ste. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979. It includes the separately-listed Perry Hannah House. The district includes 459 structures.

The South Union Street–Boardman River Bridge, also known as the Trunk Line Bridge, is a bridge located on South Union Street over the Boardman River in Traverse City, Michigan. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2000.
