Grand Traverse Mall is an enclosed shopping mall serving Traverse City, Michigan, located in Garfield Township. Opened in 1992, the mall features four anchor stores: J. C. Penney, Target, Dunham's Sports, and Macy's. It is managed by Brookfield Properties, the successor of its original developer General Growth Properties.

The Boardman River Nature Center is a nature center in Traverse City, Michigan. It is operated by the Grand Traverse Conservation District, a regional parkland authority. The nature center is dedicated to educating residents of Grand Traverse County about the animals and plants of the area, especially those native to the Boardman River valley.

Sabin Dam was a hydroelectric dam on the Boardman River in Grand Traverse County, Michigan. It was owned by the county as a recreational site, but it was formerly owned and used by Traverse City Light & Power. The dam was located about 5.3 miles (8.5 km) upstream from the mouth of the Boardman River at Grand Traverse Bay.

The Traverse City State Hospital of Traverse City, Michigan is a decommissioned psychiatric hospital that has been variously known as the Northern Michigan Asylum and the Traverse City Regional Psychiatric Hospital. It is the last Kirkbride Building of Michigan's original four left in the state. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978 and designated a Michigan State Historic Site in 1985.

It is one of two Level II Trauma Centers, north of Grand Rapids, with the other being UP Health System - Marquette. It also has the only Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in northern Michigan. Munson Medical Center has been designated as a Primary Stroke Center by the Joint Commission, and is a Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence. Munson also offers the only inpatient Behavioral Health services in northern Michigan. Munson Medical Center is the largest of nine Munson Healthcare system hospitals located throughout northern Michigan. It has a medical staff of 420 physicians representing more than 50 specialty services and employs 3,700 people. As part of Munson Healthcare, it is the largest employer north of US 10. In addition to Munson Healthcare system hospitals, Munson Medical Center works closely with Helen Devos Children's Hospital in Grand Rapids, the University of Michigan Health System, in Ann Arbor, MidMichigan Medical Center - Alpena in Alpena, and War Memorial Hospital in Sault Ste. Marie.Munson Medical Center is a teaching hospital, and partners with Michigan State University College of Human Medicine and College of Osteopathic Medicine to provide training to third and fourth year medical students. Munson Medical Center also operates a residency program for Family Practice specialists.

The Perry Hannah House, also known as the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home, is a house located at 305 6th Street in Traverse City, Michigan. It was designated a Michigan State Historic Site in 1971 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1972.

The Central Neighborhood Historic District is a residential historic district, roughly bounded by 5th, Union, 9th, and Division Streets in Traverse City, Michigan. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979. It includes the separately-listed Perry Hannah House. The district includes 459 structures.

The South Union Street–Boardman River Bridge, also known as the Trunk Line Bridge, is a bridge located on South Union Street over the Boardman River in Traverse City, Michigan. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2000.

Turtle Creek Stadium (formerly Pit Spitters Park and Wuerfel Park) is a 4,660-seat multi-use entertainment facility in Blair Township, Michigan, in the United States that hosted its first regular season baseball game on May 24, 2006, as the tenants of the facility, the Traverse City Beach Bums, took on the Kalamazoo Kings. It was built as a new home of the Beach Bums baseball team, the first in Traverse City in 93 years. In 2018, the Wuerfel's retired and the park sold. In 2019, Wuerfel Park became home to Traverse City's new baseball team, the Traverse City Pit Spitters of the summer collegiate Northwoods League.

Cherryland Center (formerly Cherryland Mall) is an outdoor shopping mall in Traverse City, Michigan. Opened in 1976 as an enclosed mall, it was renovated as an outdoor property in 1999. From 2018 until June 2022, the center's sole anchor store was Big Lots. TC Curling Club acquired the old Kmart building and began renovations and opened the space up to tours of the demolition. The Club aims for an opening of fall 2022. The center is now widely considered a dead mall. Although it has the status of a "dead mall", the Cherryland Center, as of August 2022, has 28 tenants with only 4 vacancies, making the mall 87.5 percent occupied.
