Iron Curtain Cave

Chipmunk Caves are a group of small natural limestone cave openings located near the Chilliwack River, British Columbia, Canada. The caves are located along the Chipmunk Creek Forest Service Road and lie beyond a forested area, reached through a trail. The site comprises several shallow rock cavities and narrow passageways that have formed within sedimentary rock formations. The caves were initially visited by members of the Stó:lō First Nation as early as 1860. In the 1950s, oversight of the area was reportedly transferred to the National Parks Branch of Canada. The caves were primarily formed through the erosional action of subterranean water on limestone bedrock, resulting in narrow passages and shallow chambers.

Mount MacFarlane is a 2,090-metre (6,860-foot) mountain summit located in the Cascade Mountains of southwestern British Columbia, Canada. It is situated 6 km (4 mi) north of the Canada–United States border, 3.65 km (2 mi) northwest of Slesse Mountain, and 1.4 km (1 mi) northwest of Crossover Peak, which is its nearest higher peak. Precipitation runoff from the peak drains into Slesse Creek and Pierce Creek, both tributaries of the Chilliwack River. The mountain was named to honor Royal Canadian Air Force First Lieutenant Ronald E. MacFarlane, from nearby Chilliwack, who was killed in action on December 16, 1943, at age 21. The name was officially adopted on April 7, 1955, by the Geographical Names Board of Canada.

Slesse Creek is a tributary of the Chilliwack River in North America. It flows through Whatcom County in the U.S. state of Washington and through the Canadian province of British Columbia. The creek is known as Silesia Creek in the United States and as Slesse Creek in Canada.

Williamson Lake is a small mountain lake located below Welch Peak, near Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada. It can be accessed by two different hiking trails, one 4 kilometers and the other 13 kilometers in length.

The Cheam Range (pronounced or ) is a mountain range in the Fraser Valley region of the Lower Mainland of British Columbia near the city of Chilliwack. The region is also a part of the Skagit Range of the Canadian Cascades and contains many rugged peaks. The western peaks in the range - Cheam, Lady, Baby Munday and Stewart, are known in areas of the Fraser Valley where they are visible, as the "Four Sisters". The eastern peaks in the range are referred to as the Lucky Four Group because of their proximity to the abandoned Lucky Four Mine; the glacier in the cirque formed by Welch and Foley is called the Lucky Four Glacier. Foley, Welch and Stewart commemorate partners in Foley, Welch and Stewart, an important contractor in early British Columbia responsible for building the Pacific Great Eastern Railway and other projects. The highest point is the Welch Peak.

Crossover Peak is a 2,175-metre (7,136-foot) mountain summit located in the Cascade Mountains of southwestern British Columbia, Canada. It is situated 4.5 km (3 mi) north of the Canada–United States border, 1.6 km (1 mi) southeast of Mount MacFarlane, and 2 km (1 mi) north-northwest of Slesse Mountain, which is its nearest higher peak. Precipitation runoff from the peak drains into Slesse Creek and Nesakwatch Creek, both tributaries of the Chilliwack River. The mountain's name was submitted by Glenn Woodsworth of the Alpine Club of Canada based on the popular cross-over hike from the Pierce Lake trail to the Slesse trail on opposite sides of the peak. The name was officially adopted on May 21, 1981, by the Geographical Names Board of Canada.

Welch Peak is a 2,431-metre (7,976-foot) mountain summit in the Cheam Range, located in southwestern British Columbia, Canada, near Chilliwack. It is the highest summit in the range. The mountain is named after one of the partners in the engineering firm Foley, Welch and Stewart who built and operated the Lucky Four Mine located near the peak. Nearby peaks are also named after the other partners (Foley Peak and Stewart Peak).

Lady Peak is a mountain located just southeast of Cheam Peak in the Cheam Range near Chilliwack, British Columbia. It is west of the four peaks in the eastern portion of the range known as The Lucky Four Group or The Lucky Four, consisting of Knight, Foley, Stewart and Welch peaks. According to the Canadian Mountain Encyclopedia "From the Chilliwack area, according to Sto:lo Nation culture, Lady Peak looks like the head of a dog. This dog is the companion of the Old Woman, Cheam"Lady Peak can be summited by a route that branches off the Cheam Peak Trail.The peak was named by Arthur S. Williamson, superintendent of the nearby Lucky Four Mine, to honor Phyllis Munday, the well-known Canadian mountaineer. Williamson also named nearby Baby Munday Peak in honor of her daughter, Edith. Both toponyms were officially adopted in 1946 by the Geographical Names Board of Canada.

Stewart Peak is a 2,238-metre (7,343-foot) mountain in the Cheam Range, located in southwestern British Columbia, Canada near Chilliwack. It is situated west of The Still Peak and east of Baby Munday Peak. The mountain is named after one of the partners in the engineering firm Foley, Welch and Stewart who built and operated the Lucky Four Mine located near the peak. Nearby peaks are also named after the other partners (Foley Peak and Welch Peak).

Foley Peak is a mountain in the Cheam Range, located in southwestern British Columbia, Canada near Chilliwack. It is one of the easternmost peaks in the range, situated west of Conway Peak and east of Welch Peak. The mountain is named after one of the partners in the engineering firm Foley, Welch and Stewart who built and operated the Lucky Four Mine located near the peak. Nearby peaks are also named after the other partners (Stewart Peak and Welch Peak).

Cheam Peak or Mount Cheam (pronounced and in English, [ˈʃiːəm] in Halqemeylem, the local indigenous language, referring to the lowland below. The Halqemeylem name for the mountain is Lhílheqey – Theeth-uhl-kay – from the word Lhelqey – "glacier" or "rehydrate", referring to the west ridge of the peak).

Bridal Veil Falls Provincial Park is a BC Park located on the Trans-Canada Highway just east of Rosedale, British Columbia, Canada, part of the City of Chilliwack. The community of Bridal Falls is located adjacent to the falls and park as well as the interchange between the Trans-Canada and BC Highway 9 and has a variety of highway-based tourism services. Access to the falls requires a short hike from the parking lot and well groomed trails, taking most groups 15-25 minutes.This Park is named after the waterfall that it encompasses, the 38th highest waterfall in British Columbia, Bridal Veil Falls, however it is commonly stated incorrectly as the 4th tallest in Canada. The falls drop 122 metres (400 feet) over a wide rock face, creating a "veil-like" effect, however, only the bottom 200–250 feet can clearly be viewed from the base, due to the viewing-points' location directly at the base. It is located at the south end of the land set aside as provincial Park. Its source is from Mount Archibald and flows into Bridal Creek where it travels to Cheam Lake Wetlands Regional Park and finally to the Fraser River. During drier summer months, the volume of the water decreases significantly, reducing the visual effect of the waterfall. Bridal Veil Falls tend to freeze during cold winters and creates a wall of ice which is often unstable. Because of this, the base of the falls becomes an extremely hazardous area and the park remains closed during the winter season. When the falls does freeze solid, it is a sought-after ice climb, but it is known by climbers for its difficulty and the infrequency of stable climbing conditions. Bridal Veil Falls was named in the 19th century by the village of Popkum. In the early 20th century, the village used the waterfall with a hydro-electric generator to power the chalet and heated swimming pool in the village. Only the concrete foundation of the generator can be found today.
