Kamuning Road is a short road located in Quezon City, Philippines. It is a road in a generally east–west orientation between the intersection with Epifanio de los Santos Avenue in Diliman and the junction with Tomas Morato Avenue in Diliman, Quezon City. It is served by the Kamuning station of the Manila MRT-3.

Kamuning Church, officially known as the Diocesan Shrine and Parish of the Sacred Heart of Jesus is a Roman Catholic parish in the Kamuning District of Quezon City in the Philippines. It was established by Manila Archbishop Michael J. O'Doherty on October 3, 1941, making it the first parish to be erected in Quezon City after the city's inception in 1939 (although the present-day churches in Novaliches and San Francisco del Monte were in existence already in the areas now located in the city). Sacred Heart Church is located at the intersection of Scout Ybardolaza Street, Scout Fuentebella Street, and Scout Fernandez Street. Despite its historical familiarity as the Church of Kamuning, it presently belongs to Barangay Sacred Heart, not Barangay Kamuning. The parish is part of the Diocese of Cubao[1]. The parish celebrates its annual fiesta on the movable feast Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart according to the liturgical calendar of the Catholic Church, the Friday right after the Solemnity of the Body and Blood of Christ, also known as Corpus Christi. Administered by the Society of the Divine Word (SVD) ever since even before its founding as a parish, the Sacred Heart Church has been an important center of religious activities in Kamuning District, also known as Barrio Obrero II, which was a government housing project by then Philippine Commonwealth President Manuel Luis Quezon for government employees and their families. Late in 1939, the Kamuning Residents' Association sought pastoral care from the SVD fathers, who later celebrated the first Mass where the Kamuning Public Market now stands on that year's Christmas Eve. On October 1, 1941, the Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish was established by Manila Archbishop Michael J. O'Doherty. It has been in the care of the SVD missionaries since then. In the early 1940s, the parish boundaries reached as far east toward Loyola Heights and westward up to the Mabuhay Rotonda. Today, the parish covers five barangays – Sacred Heart, Kamuning, South Triangle, Kristong Hari, and part of Obrero. According to Philippines 2000 Census, the parish jurisdiction has a resident population of 43,074 people.On October 1, 2016, the 75th foundation year of the parish, Bishop Honesto Ongtioco declared the Sacred Heart Parish as a diocesan shrine. Its official name is Diocesan Shrine and Parish of the Sacred Heart of Jesus or Sacred Heart Parish-Shrine.

Tomas Morato Avenue is a street located in Quezon City within the Diliman and New Manila areas of northeastern Metro Manila, Philippines. The street links Eulogio Rodriguez Sr. Avenue in the village of Mariana in the south with Eugenio Lopez Drive (also known as Scout Albano Street) in South Triangle in the north, and passes through Barangays Sacred Heart, Laging Handa, Kamuning, Obrero, and Kristong Hari. It was named after the first mayor of Quezon City. The street is known as a trendy restaurant row located in Quezon City's entertainment area along with Timog Avenue and West Avenue. It is also known for its bars, discos, karaoke and comedy clubs, and as a popular hangout for local actors who work in the nearby studios such as the ABS-CBN Broadcasting Center on Mother Ignacia Avenue and GMA Network Center on Timog Avenue, as well as millennials.

Asian Theological Seminary (ATS) is a theological seminary in Quezon City, Philippines.Asian Theological Seminary was started in 1969 by Far Eastern Gospel Crusade (now SEND International) missionaries, including Dr. Elliot Johnson, now Senior Professor of Bible Exposition at Dallas Theological Seminary.http://www.dts.edu/about/faculty/ejohnson/ and Charles Sell, retired professor of Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Asian Theological Seminary has published the journal Phronesis (ISSN 2012-4066) since 1994.As of 2005, there had been 1300 master-level graduates from the seminary.

It was built for 800 inmates but with 3800 prisoners it is filled five times more than planned. In 2014, there was a riot with 42 people taken as hostages. In 2020, during COVID-19 pandemic, 9 inmates and 9 personnel were infected with COVID-19.

Bernardo Park is an urban community park located on both banks of the Diliman Creek in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines. It is the first public park in Quezon City which opened in 1948. The park is the social and cultural center of the barangay of Pinagkaisahan and the largest park in the barangay of Kamuning. It was named after Ponciano Bernardo, the second mayor of Quezon City who was also the city's first vice-mayor and city engineer appointed by President Manuel L. Quezon.

The 11th World Scout Jamboree Memorial Rotonda, also known as the Boy Scout Circle, is a roundabout in Quezon City, Metro Manila, the Philippines. Located at the intersection between Timog and Tomas Morato Avenues, it serves as the boundary between Barangays South Triangle, Laging Handa and Sacred Heart. A monument stands in the middle of the roundabout which commemorates the members of the ill-fated Philippine contingent to the 11th World Scout Jamboree that was among the casualties of the United Arab Airlines Flight 869 crash of 1963. The monument consists of a circular pedestal with bronze statues in the likenesses of the 24 members of the Philippine delegation (22 Boy Scouts, 2 veteran Scouters, and 2 chaperons) positioned around the structure.The statues were sculpted by Florante Beltran Caedo and the monument was unveiled to the public in 1965 by then Mayor Norberto S. Amoranto at the intersections of Sampaloc and South avenues (now Tomas Morato and Timog avenues, respectively). In 2007, the Quezon City government performed a ₱20 million renovation on the monument that included the addition of an obelisk on top of the structure honoring Tomás Morató, the first mayor of Quezon City and after whom the Tomas Morato Avenue is named.

The San Juan Gymnasium is an indoor sporting arena in San Juan, Metro Manila, Philippines. The arena was home to the Pilipinas MX3 Kings of the ASEAN Basketball League (ABL) and has played host to a number of basketball games of the Philippine Basketball League and the now-defunct Metropolitan Basketball Association. It served as the home court of the San Juan Knights of the MBA. The AirAsia Philippine Patriots used the arena for some of its games during the 2012 ASEAN Basketball League season. The FlipTop Battle League commonly used the arena during championship tournaments.

The Ozone Disco fire in Quezon City, Philippines, broke out at 11:35 pm Philippine Standard Time on March 18, 1996, leaving at least 162 people dead. It is officially acknowledged as the worst fire in Philippine history, and among the 10 worst nightclub fires in the world.

The GMA Network Center is the headquarters and broadcast complex of the GMA Network, a major radio and television network in the Philippines. It is located at EDSA corner Timog Avenue, Diliman, Quezon City. It is the network's main television and radio production center, and its main transmission facility for most of Metro Manila. The building houses Super Radyo DZBB 594 AM, Barangay LS 97.1 FM, GMA-7 and GTV-27. GMA inaugurated the facility on June 14, 2000, the birthdate of GMA Network, as part of the kick-off of its year-round celebration of its 50th golden anniversary. While the first phase of the project has already been completed with the completion of the 17-storey high-rise building, the center has an option to upgrade the older, existing facilities in the GMA compound, as originally planned. The center is equipped with MARC (Multiple Automated Recorder Cassette) System with a D3 format digital video recorder and a Broadcast Automation System that allows the network to manage live feeds and international feeds that will be carried out to GMA Pinoy TV, GMA Life TV and, GMA News TV International subscribers around the world.
