The Roman Catholic Diocese of Cubao (Latin: Dioecesis Cubaoensis) is a diocese of the western Latin Church of the Catholic Church in district of Cubao in Quezon City, in northern Metro Manila, Philippines. The diocese was created by Pope John Paul II on June 28, 2003 from the ecclesiastical district of Cubao of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Manila. It was canonically erected on August 28, 2003, with the installation of Honesto Flores Ongtioco as the first Bishop of Cubao. The diocese is composed of 45 full parishes including three national shrines, two minor basilicas; two quasi-parishes; one non-parochial diocesan shrine; and one mission station. These are clustered into six separate vicariates.

Cubao Cathedral (formal title: The Immaculate Conception Cathedral of Cubao), is a Roman Catholic cathedral located in Quezon City, Metro Manila, the Philippines. It is the episcopal seat of the Roman Catholic Bishop of Cubao; built in 1950 by the Society of the Divine Word, and belonged to the order until 1990, when the Archdiocese of Manila took over its administration. In 2003, when the Diocese of Cubao was erected, the parish was elevated into the status of a cathedral. The present rector of the cathedral is Rev. Fr. Dennis S. Soriano, M.A., Lit.

Betty Go-Belmonte Street is a street running through the New Manila district of Quezon City, Philippines. It is a notable road in a generally northwest-southeast orientation between the junction with E. Rodriguez Sr. Avenue in New Manila and the junction with N. Domingo Street also in New Manila. It is served by Betty Go-Belmonte station of the Manila Line 2. The street was named after a notable Filipino journalist who was an institution with her contributions in the writing press during the Martial Law period as well as one of the founders of two of the major broadsheet newspaper in the country namely The Philippine Daily Inquirer and The Philippine Star. She was also the wife of former Quezon City Mayor and House Speaker Feliciano Belmonte Jr.Until 1997, the street located in Mariana and Immaculate Conception was called Valley Road. In 2016, a resolution was passed by the Quezon City Council to name the full length of the street to N. Domingo Street as Betty Go-Belmonte Street.

Kamuning Road is a short road located in Quezon City, Philippines. It is a road in a generally east–west orientation between the intersection with Epifanio de los Santos Avenue in Diliman and the junction with Tomas Morato Avenue in Diliman, Quezon City. It is served by the Kamuning station of the Manila MRT-3.

Betty Go-Belmonte station is a station on the Manila Light Rail Transit System Line 2. Betty Go-Belmonte station is one of the many elevated stations that can be found on the line. The station during its inception was formerly called as "Boston Station" but was renamed into the current name due to the minor realignment of some stations (the other being V. Mapa) that has caused the change of proximity to the Betty Go-Belmonte Street. The station is located in New Manila in Quezon City and is named after Betty Go-Belmonte, the late wife of House Speaker Feliciano Belmonte Jr. and the founder of The Philippine Star.The station is the seventh station for trains headed to both Antipolo and Recto stations.

Kalayaan College (or KC) is a private, four-year college formerly located in Marikina that has since moved to Quezon City. It was established in 2000 and is accredited by the Philippine Commission on Higher Education. Kalayaan College is on Manga Road cor Aurora Blvd, near the Line 2 Betty Go-Belmonte. It was established by big names in academic institutions. The college's president, Dr. José Abueva, is a former president of the University of the Philippines. The college follows UP's curriculum, such as the grading system for students (where 1.00 is the highest and 5.00 is the lowest or failing grade). Most of the professors are members of UP's faculty. Nowadays, new faculty members are UP graduates.

The Congregation of the Religious of the Virgin Mary (Spanish: La Cofradía de Hermanas de Religiosa de la Virgen María; postnominals: RVM) is a Roman Catholic ecclesiastical community of pontifical right founded in Manila in 1684 by the Filipina Venerable Mother Ignacia del Espíritu Santo. In 2016 there were over 700 RVM sisters, mainly from the Philippines. They run a university and 58 other schools and have works in seven countries outside the Philippines. From the start they cultivated an apostolic, Ignatian spirituality and have retreat houses along with their other diverse works.

Aurora Boulevard is a four-to-ten lane major thoroughfare in Quezon City and San Juan in Metro Manila, Philippines. It was named after Doña Aurora Quezon, the consort of Commonwealth President Manuel Luis Quezon. It is one of the major roads in the commercial district of Araneta City in Cubao. Line 2 follows the alignment of the boulevard.

Mariana, is an administrative division in eastern Metro Manila, the Philippines. It is an urban barangay in Quezon City in a middle class residential and commercial area known as New Manila, which includes Barangay Mariana and the adjacent Barangay Damayang Lagi.The barangay's land boundaries are defined by the España Boulevard Extension (now E. Rodriguez Sr. Avenue), Ilang-ilang Street, Rosario Drive, Victoria Avenue, and Aurora Boulevard, while its water boundaries are defined by the Salapan Creek (also known as the Ermitaño Creek).It is bordered by Barangay Damayang Lagi to the west, Barangays Kalusugan, and Kristong Hari to the north, Barangay Immaculate Concepcion to the east, Barangays Kaunlaran and Valencia to the south, and San Juan's Barangay Ermitaño to the southwest.

Ramon Magsaysay (Cubao) High School (RMCHS) is a high school in Quezon City, Philippines. It was founded as an annex of Quezon City High School in 1953 then became an independent school in 1958. It is one of the two schools in Metro Manila named after President Ramon Magsaysay (the other being Ramon Magsaysay High School, Manila).

Bernardo Park is an urban community park located on both banks of the Diliman Creek in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines. It is the first public park in Quezon City which opened in 1948. The park is the social and cultural center of the barangay of Pinagkaisahan and the largest park in the barangay of Kamuning. It was named after Ponciano Bernardo, the second mayor of Quezon City who was also the city's first vice-mayor and city engineer appointed by President Manuel L. Quezon.

Kamuning Church, officially known as the Diocesan Shrine and Parish of the Sacred Heart of Jesus is a Roman Catholic parish in the Kamuning District of Quezon City in the Philippines. It was established by Manila Archbishop Michael J. O'Doherty on October 3, 1941, making it the first parish to be erected in Quezon City after the city's inception in 1939 (although the present-day churches in Novaliches and San Francisco del Monte were in existence already in the areas now located in the city). Sacred Heart Church is located at the intersection of Scout Ybardolaza Street, Scout Fuentebella Street, and Scout Fernandez Street. Despite its historical familiarity as the Church of Kamuning, it presently belongs to Barangay Sacred Heart, not Barangay Kamuning. The parish is part of the Diocese of Cubao[1]. The parish celebrates its annual fiesta on the movable feast Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart according to the liturgical calendar of the Catholic Church, the Friday right after the Solemnity of the Body and Blood of Christ, also known as Corpus Christi. Administered by the Society of the Divine Word (SVD) ever since even before its founding as a parish, the Sacred Heart Church has been an important center of religious activities in Kamuning District, also known as Barrio Obrero II, which was a government housing project by then Philippine Commonwealth President Manuel Luis Quezon for government employees and their families. Late in 1939, the Kamuning Residents' Association sought pastoral care from the SVD fathers, who later celebrated the first Mass where the Kamuning Public Market now stands on that year's Christmas Eve. On October 1, 1941, the Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish was established by Manila Archbishop Michael J. O'Doherty. It has been in the care of the SVD missionaries since then. In the early 1940s, the parish boundaries reached as far east toward Loyola Heights and westward up to the Mabuhay Rotonda. Today, the parish covers five barangays – Sacred Heart, Kamuning, South Triangle, Kristong Hari, and part of Obrero. According to Philippines 2000 Census, the parish jurisdiction has a resident population of 43,074 people.On October 1, 2016, the 75th foundation year of the parish, Bishop Honesto Ongtioco declared the Sacred Heart Parish as a diocesan shrine. Its official name is Diocesan Shrine and Parish of the Sacred Heart of Jesus or Sacred Heart Parish-Shrine.
