The 11th World Scout Jamboree Memorial Rotonda, also known as the Boy Scout Circle, is a roundabout in Quezon City, Metro Manila, the Philippines. Located at the intersection between Timog and Tomas Morato Avenues, it serves as the boundary between Barangays South Triangle, Laging Handa and Sacred Heart. A monument stands in the middle of the roundabout which commemorates the members of the ill-fated Philippine contingent to the 11th World Scout Jamboree that was among the casualties of the United Arab Airlines Flight 869 crash of 1963. The monument consists of a circular pedestal with bronze statues in the likenesses of the 24 members of the Philippine delegation (22 Boy Scouts, 2 veteran Scouters, and 2 chaperons) positioned around the structure.The statues were sculpted by Florante Beltran Caedo and the monument was unveiled to the public in 1965 by then Mayor Norberto S. Amoranto at the intersections of Sampaloc and South avenues (now Tomas Morato and Timog avenues, respectively). In 2007, the Quezon City government performed a ₱20 million renovation on the monument that included the addition of an obelisk on top of the structure honoring Tomás Morató, the first mayor of Quezon City and after whom the Tomas Morato Avenue is named.

Timog Avenue is a major road located in Quezon City within the Diliman area of northeastern Metro Manila, Philippines. It runs east–west through the southern edge of the barangay of South Triangle and is used to be named in English as South Avenue. The street is located in Quezon City's entertainment area, known for its trendy restaurants, bars and karaoke and comedy clubs. It is also home to the GMA Network Center studios located on the avenue's junction with Epifanio de los Santos Avenue (EDSA). The entire avenue is designated as National Route 172 (N172) of the Philippine highway network.

The San Juan Gymnasium is an indoor sporting arena in San Juan, Metro Manila, Philippines. The arena was home to the Pilipinas MX3 Kings of the ASEAN Basketball League (ABL) and has played host to a number of basketball games of the Philippine Basketball League and the now-defunct Metropolitan Basketball Association. It served as the home court of the San Juan Knights of the MBA. The AirAsia Philippine Patriots used the arena for some of its games during the 2012 ASEAN Basketball League season. The FlipTop Battle League commonly used the arena during championship tournaments.

Asian Theological Seminary (ATS) is a theological seminary in Quezon City, Philippines.Asian Theological Seminary was started in 1969 by Far Eastern Gospel Crusade (now SEND International) missionaries, including Dr. Elliot Johnson, now Senior Professor of Bible Exposition at Dallas Theological Seminary.http://www.dts.edu/about/faculty/ejohnson/ and Charles Sell, retired professor of Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Asian Theological Seminary has published the journal Phronesis (ISSN 2012-4066) since 1994.As of 2005, there had been 1300 master-level graduates from the seminary.

Tomas Morato Avenue is a street located in Quezon City within the Diliman and New Manila areas of northeastern Metro Manila, Philippines. The street links Eulogio Rodriguez Sr. Avenue in the village of Mariana in the south with Eugenio Lopez Drive (also known as Scout Albano Street) in South Triangle in the north, and passes through Barangays Sacred Heart, Laging Handa, Kamuning, Obrero, and Kristong Hari. It was named after the first mayor of Quezon City. The street is known as a trendy restaurant row located in Quezon City's entertainment area along with Timog Avenue and West Avenue. It is also known for its bars, discos, karaoke and comedy clubs, and as a popular hangout for local actors who work in the nearby studios such as the ABS-CBN Broadcasting Center on Mother Ignacia Avenue and GMA Network Center on Timog Avenue, as well as millennials.

Pinoy Big Brother: Unlimited is the fourth main season of the Philippine ABS-CBN reality television series Pinoy Big Brother and the ninth season overall that aired from October 29, 2011. Toni Gonzaga and Bianca Gonzalez reprised their hosting stints for the show, together with PBB Teen Edition Plus ex-housemate Robi Domingo. The season ended on March 31, 2012 after 155 days, breaking Double Up's record for the longest duration by three more weeks and also ranked as one of the show's longest seasons worldwide, only surpassed by a number of seasons held in Germany. It is the first regular season with a male winner: Slater Young.Auditions for the season started in Metro Manila on March 4, 2011 at the SM Mall of Asia where around 10,000 people attended. Show director Lauren Dyogi said the turnout at the Mall of Asia audition was the largest in the show's history. Other auditions were held at several key cities in the Philippines from March to July 2011, plus overseas auditions in Tokyo and Los Angeles. The total number of aspirants for the season, as claimed by the show, was 30,789. A total of 37 housemates entered for this season; fourteen on opening night, fifteen on Day 8, six on Day 15, and two on Days 23 and 25.In the run-up to the premiere, a special weekday afternoon primer entitled Pinoy Big Brother: The Audition Stories started airing on October 24, 2011. It featured several participants whose audition stories caught the interest of the producers. The afternoon primer lasted until November 4, 2011. It eventually gave way to the new show, Pinoy Big Brother: UnliDay, the day main program. The said program shows the latest happenings of the Day Housemates from the Industrial House. On January 12, 2016, it was reported that housemate Kigoy Abarico died due to cardiac arrest.

Pinoy Big Brother: All In is the fifth main season of the Philippine ABS-CBN reality television series Pinoy Big Brother and the eleventh season overall. This was also the first season of the Big Brother franchise from the world to feature adult civilians, teenagers and celebrities taking part in the same season. Due to the mixed contestant types this season is referred to as a "Special Edition". Toni Gonzaga, Bianca Gonzalez, Robi Domingo, and John Prats reprised their roles as hosts, while Alex Gonzaga joins the show initially as a host but served as one of the longest-reigning houseguests.The show aired on April 27, 2014 on ABS-CBN, replacing The Biggest Loser Pinoy Edition: Doubles. The show aired 10:15 p.m. (PST) every Mondays to Fridays; 9:30 p.m. (PST) every Saturdays; and 9:45 p.m. (PST) every Sundays.Nineteen housemates had entered the house, 17 on Day 1, and two on Days 21 and 49, and the season lasted 120 days, ending on August 24, 2014. Daniel Matsunaga emerged as the season's winner, the third celebrity to win in the franchise.

Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition 4 is the fourth teen edition and the tenth series overall of Pinoy Big Brother. The show premiered on April 8, 2012 almost a week after the Unlimited season concluded, and ended on July 7, 2012, replacing Nasaan Ka, Elisa?, lasting for 13 weeks, making it the longest teen edition yet. Toni Gonzaga, Bianca Gonzalez and Robi Domingo reprised their roles as hosts. They are joined by Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Edition 1 ex-housemate John Prats.Auditions were held in major key cities in the Philippines and other parts of the world. A total of 22,305 teens auditioned for the season. Fifteen housemates entered this season, nine on opening night and six on Day 2.Myrtle Sarrosa of Barotac Nuevo, Iloilo emerged as the winner of the season.

Pinoy Big Brother, more popularly known by its abbreviated title PBB, is the Philippine version of the Big Brother reality game show franchise. The word Pinoy in the title is a colloquial term for the Filipino people. The show first aired on August 21, 2005 on ABS-CBN, Studio 23 (now S+A), and its international channel, TFC in various countries worldwide. The uncut 24/7 version of the series can also be seen on the internet through Kumu, a Philippine online livestreaming app, as part of their partnership on the current season, as carried over from the previous season. The original hosts of the show were Willie Revillame, Toni Gonzaga, and Mariel Rodriguez. Kumunity Season 10, the current season, is being hosted by Bianca Gonzalez and Robi Domingo. Other essential elements of the Big Brother franchise are present, such as weekly and daily challenges, the confession room, and the voice known only as "Big Brother," sometimes referred to as "Kuya" (Tagalog for an elder male sibling). Dolphy Theatre (formerly ABS-CBN Studio 1) is a proscenium theatre adjacent in the ABS-CBN Studios in Quezon City, Philippines. It was named in honor of Filipino comedian Dolphy in celebration of his 80th birthday in 2008. It is one of the oldest studios of the Broadcast Center which was used as a newsroom in 1986 when the network re-opened. The theatre is used by Star Magic. Press conferences, award nights and other events are also held in the venue.

DWRR-FM (pronounced as DW-double-R; 101.9 FM Stereo), broadcasting as MOR 101.9, was a commercial radio station owned by ABS-CBN Corporation and previously operated by the Manila Radio division and the Star Creatives Group. Broadcast live throughout the Philippine archipelago, and throughout the world via The Filipino Channel (TFC), it was the flagship FM station of MOR Philippines and the number 1 FM radio station in Metro Manila, Mega Manila as well as the entire Philippines according to KBP Radio Research Council. The studios were located at ABS-CBN Broadcasting Center, Sgt. Esguerra Ave., corner Mo. Ignacia Ave., Diliman, Quezon City, and the station's 22.5 kW FM stereo transmitter was located at the Eugenio Lopez Center, Barangay Sta. Cruz, Sumulong Highway, Antipolo City, Rizal. DWRR was founded in 1956 as one of the radio stations of Chronicle Broadcasting Network (now ABS-CBN). It was revived in 1986 and reformatted several times. On May 5, 2020, it suspended its broadcasting activities, together with that of its television and sister radio stations, following a cease-and-desist order issued by the National Telecommunications Commission due to the expiration of ABS-CBN's legislative franchise to operate. The online radio permanently ceased operations on August 28, 2020, as a result of a franchise denial made by the House of Representatives on July 10, 2020.

Kamuning Church, officially known as the Diocesan Shrine and Parish of the Sacred Heart of Jesus is a Roman Catholic parish in the Kamuning District of Quezon City in the Philippines. It was established by Manila Archbishop Michael J. O'Doherty on October 3, 1941, making it the first parish to be erected in Quezon City after the city's inception in 1939 (although the present-day churches in Novaliches and San Francisco del Monte were in existence already in the areas now located in the city). Sacred Heart Church is located at the intersection of Scout Ybardolaza Street, Scout Fuentebella Street, and Scout Fernandez Street. Despite its historical familiarity as the Church of Kamuning, it presently belongs to Barangay Sacred Heart, not Barangay Kamuning. The parish is part of the Diocese of Cubao[1]. The parish celebrates its annual fiesta on the movable feast Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart according to the liturgical calendar of the Catholic Church, the Friday right after the Solemnity of the Body and Blood of Christ, also known as Corpus Christi. Administered by the Society of the Divine Word (SVD) ever since even before its founding as a parish, the Sacred Heart Church has been an important center of religious activities in Kamuning District, also known as Barrio Obrero II, which was a government housing project by then Philippine Commonwealth President Manuel Luis Quezon for government employees and their families. Late in 1939, the Kamuning Residents' Association sought pastoral care from the SVD fathers, who later celebrated the first Mass where the Kamuning Public Market now stands on that year's Christmas Eve. On October 1, 1941, the Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish was established by Manila Archbishop Michael J. O'Doherty. It has been in the care of the SVD missionaries since then. In the early 1940s, the parish boundaries reached as far east toward Loyola Heights and westward up to the Mabuhay Rotonda. Today, the parish covers five barangays – Sacred Heart, Kamuning, South Triangle, Kristong Hari, and part of Obrero. According to Philippines 2000 Census, the parish jurisdiction has a resident population of 43,074 people.On October 1, 2016, the 75th foundation year of the parish, Bishop Honesto Ongtioco declared the Sacred Heart Parish as a diocesan shrine. Its official name is Diocesan Shrine and Parish of the Sacred Heart of Jesus or Sacred Heart Parish-Shrine.
