The Franciscan Friary and the Church of Saint Anthony of Padua (Serbo-Croatian: Franjevački samostan i crkva Svetog Ante Padovanskog/Црква светог Анте Падованског), an architectural ensemble consisting of the Franciscan friary of Saint Anthony on Bistrik and the Church of Saint Anthony of Padua, is a Roman Catholic place of worship and one of the houses of Franjevačka provincija Bosna Srebrena (transl. Franciscan Province of Bosnia Argentina). It is dedicated to the Franciscan friar Anthony of Padua. The complex of buildings is inscribed into the list of National Monuments of Bosnia and Herzegovina by the KONS. The friary and church are located in Sarajevo, in the Stari Grad municipality, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Sarajevo Brewery Museum (Bosnian: Muzej Sarajevske pivare; Serbo-Croatian Cyrillic: Музеј Сарајевске пиваре) is a museum dedicated to the history of brewing in Sarajevo and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Located within the Sarajevo Brewery complex at Franjevačka 15, the museum offers insights into the development of the brewing industry from the Ottoman period to the present day.

The Vilayet Printing House (Serbo-Croatian: Вилајетска штампарија, Vilajetska štamparija), originally named Sopron's Printing House (Сопронова печатња, Sopronova pečatnja), was the official printing house of the Ottoman Vilayet of Bosnia from April 1866 until the occupation of the province by Austria-Hungary in August 1878. It was the second printing house that operated in the territory of present-day Bosnia and Herzegovina, founded in Sarajevo almost 350 years after the Goražde printing house ceased its activity. Its founder was Ignjat Sopron, a publisher and printer from Zemun, who sold the establishment to the Government of the Vilayet of Bosnia in October 1866. Its foundation happened in the context of modernising and Europeanising Tanzimat reforms in the Ottoman Empire. Its principal aim was to issue an official gazette of the vilayet and publish textbooks for the elementary schools of Bosnian Serbs and Croats, thus stopping their import from the Principality of Serbia and the Austrian Empire. The first newspaper to be published in Bosnia and Herzegovina was Bosanski vjestnik, a political-informative and educational weekly edited by Sopron and printed in Serbian Cyrillic. It had a pro-Serb inclination, though it generally promoted a unitary Bosnian nation, in accordance with the Ottoman policy in the province. The official gazette, the weekly Bosna, was primarily concerned with publishing and explaining laws, orders, and proclamations. Another weekly issued by the printing house was Sarajevski cvjetnik, which fiercely defended the Ottoman regime and polemicised with Serbian and Austrian newspapers that criticised it. Bosna and Sarajevski cvjetnik were bilingual, printed half in Ottoman Turkish and half in Serbo-Croatian in the Cyrillic script. The printing house produced a number of elementary school textbooks, including the second Serbian alphabet book using the reformed Serbian Cyrillic, following Vuk Karadžić's book published in Vienna in 1827. Other books include a collection of Bosnian Serb lyric folk poetry, an Ottoman Turkish grammar, and several Jewish religious books. The first printed exemplar of Bosnian Aljamiado literature was also published by the Vilayet Printing House. It produced around 50 books and booklets altogether, most of them being concerned with various Ottoman laws and legislation.

The Emperor's Mosque (Bosnian: Careva džamija, Turkish: Hünkâr Camii) is an important landmark in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, being the first mosque to be built (1457) after the Ottoman conquest of Bosnia. It is the largest single-subdome mosque in Bosnia and Herzegovina, built in the classical Ottoman style of the era.It was built by one Isaković-Hranušić who dedicated it to the Sultan, Mehmed the Conqueror, the conqueror of Constantinople. Considered one of the most beautiful mosques of the Ottoman period in the Balkans, the mosque features a roomy interior and high quality decorative details, such as the mihrab.

The Atonement Monument was unveiled in the city of Sarajevo on June 28, 1917. The monument commemorated the assassination attempt in Sarajevo on June 28, 1914, in which Gavrilo Princip assassinated the heir to the Austro-Hungarian throne, Franz Ferdinand , and was located in the immediate vicinity of the Latin Bridge . After the war, the monument was dismantled. Parts of the monument were housed in the Sarajevo City Museum until the 1970s. Since 2014, there have been discussions about reconstructing the monument. According to plans by Jenő Bory , the twelve-meter-high structure was made of Silesian granite. The memorial consisted of two columns visible from afar. The base bore a bronze plaque on which a portrait of the murdered heir to the throne and the Austro-Hungarian coat of arms were inscribed. A stone bench was erected opposite. The altar of the memorial was blown up. The bench still exists today. Since 2014, a two-meter-high glass plate depicting the atonement monument has been located at the site of the memorial. The glass plate contains the following inscription: Memorial to the victims of the assassination attempt in Sarajevo, Archduke Franz Ferdinand, heir to the throne of Austria-Hungary and his wife Sophie, Duchess of Hohenberg. Unveiled on June 28, 1917 and removed in 1919. Architect: Jenő Bory. Bory developed further plans for a large cathedral that would seat 4,000 people. The building, consisting of several complexes, was to include a church and a youth center. The plans, drawn up in 1917, could not be realized. Before the construction of the atonement monument, a stone plaque with the inscription in Bosnian was placed at the site: "28.VI.1914 The heir to the throne, Archduke Franz Ferdinand, and his wife, Duchess Sophie Hohenberg, suffered martyrdom at the hands of murderers at this intersection." In 1930, a stone plaque in Serbo-Croatian was installed with the inscription " At this historic place, Gavrilo Princip brought freedom on 15/28 Vidovdan." This stone plaque was presented to Hitler as war booty after the Balkan campaign on his 52nd birthday . After the war, the plaque was handed over to a representative of the Yugoslav Military Commission on 6 November 1946. Since then, the plaque has disappeared.

The Vekil-Harrach or Hadžijska mosque (Bosnian: Vekil-Harač ili Hadžijska džamija) is a mosque in the city of Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is located in Alifakovac, a neighborhood in Babića bašća local community, one of the oldest urban settlements in Sarajevo.

Sevdah Art House (Bosnian: Art kuća Sevdaha; Serbo-Croatian Cyrillic: Арт кућа Севдаха) is a cultural museum and café located in the historic Baščaršija district of Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Dedicated to the preservation and celebration of sevdalinka—a traditional genre of Bosnian urban folk music—the institution serves as a hub for music, education, and cultural heritage.

The Museum of Sarajevo 1878–1918 (Bosnian, Croatian and Serbian: Muzej Sarajevo 1878–1918 / Музеј Срајево 1878–1918) is located near the Latin Bridge in central Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The building had been Moritz Schiller's Delicatessen in 1914, the year that Franz Ferdinand, the heir presumptive to the throne of Austria-Hungary was shot dead by Gavrilo Princip from the street corner outside, indirectly starting World War I.

The assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand was one of the key events that led to World War I. Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria, heir presumptive to the Austro-Hungarian throne, and his wife, Sophie, Duchess of Hohenberg, were assassinated on 28 June 1914 by Bosnian Serb student Gavrilo Princip. They were shot at close range while being driven through Sarajevo, the provincial capital of Bosnia-Herzegovina, formally annexed by Austria-Hungary in 1908. Princip was part of a group of six Bosnian assassins together with Muhamed Mehmedbašić, Vaso Čubrilović, Nedeljko Čabrinović, Cvjetko Popović and Trifko Grabež coordinated by Danilo Ilić; all but one were Bosnian Serbs and members of a student revolutionary group that later became known as Young Bosnia. The political objective of the assassination was to free Bosnia and Herzegovina of Austria-Hungarian rule and establish a common South Slav ("Yugoslav") state. The assassination precipitated the July Crisis which led to Austria-Hungary declaring war on Serbia and the start of World War I. The assassination team was helped by the Black Hand, a Serbian secret nationalist group; support came from Dragutin Dimitrijević, chief of the military intelligence section of the Serbian general staff, as well as from Major Vojislav Tankosić and Rade Malobabić, a Serbian intelligence agent. Tankosić provided bombs and pistols to the assassins and trained them in their use. The assassins were given access to the same clandestine network of safe-houses and agents that Malobabić used for the infiltration of weapons and operatives into Austria-Hungary. The assassins and key members of the clandestine network were tried in Sarajevo in October 1914. In total twenty-five people were indicted. All six assassins, except Mehmedbašić, were under twenty at the time of the assassination; while the group was dominated by Bosnian Serbs, four of the indictees were Bosnian Croats, and all of them were Austro-Hungarian citizens, none from Serbia. Princip was found guilty of murder and high treason; too young to be executed, he was sentenced to twenty years in jail, while the four other attackers also received jail terms. Five of the older prisoners were sentenced to be hanged. Black Hand members were arrested and tried before a Serbian court in Salonika in 1917 on fabricated charges of high treason; the Black Hand was disbanded and three of its leaders were executed. Much of what is known about the assassinations comes from these two trials and related records. Princip's legacy was re-evaluated following the breakup of Yugoslavia, and public opinion of him in the successor states is largely divided along ethnic lines.

Šeher Ćehaja Bridge (Bosnian, Croatian and Serbian: Šeher-Ćehajina ćuprija / Шехер-Ћехајина ћуприја) is a bridge which crosses the river Miljacka in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. It can be translated as "Mayor's Bridge" from the Turkish word for mayor. During Ottoman rule, 13 bridges were built in Sarajevo; one of the most impressive ones is Šeher Ćehaja Bridge. The only written document indicating the year of the erection of the bridge is a transcript of the chronogram in Mostar, indicating it was built in 994 AH (1585/1586 CE). According to the source, the bridge was constructed by a man named "Alija known as Hafizadić".The Šeher Ćehaja Bridge has been damaged several times: during the floods of 1619 and 1629, as well as in 1843 when the Miljacka destroyed two pillars during repairs by Mustafa-paša. The bridge was again damaged in 1880.

Hotel Stari Grad (also known as the Gazi Hotel) is a historic hotel located at Mula Mustafe Bašeskije 57 in the Baščaršija district of Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The building is part of the Gazi Husrev-beg Vakuf (endowment) and has been designated a National Monument of Bosnia and Herzegovina since 2008.

Despić House (Serbo-Croatian: Despića kuća, Деспића кућа) is an old merchant house in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina that was established in 1881 by one of the wealthiest and most prominent Serb families in Sarajevo. It is a branch of the Museum of Sarajevo.
