The Kyaikkasan Race Course (Burmese: ကျိုက္ကစံမြင်းပြိုင်ပွဲကွင်း) is a 147-acre (59 ha) historic former horse racing venue located on South Race Course Road in Tamwe Township, Yangon, Myanmar. Originally established as the Rangoon Turf Club, the racecourse was a major colonial-era institution and one of the few racially inclusive social clubs of its time.

Maha Bandula Bridge (sometimes spelled Mahabandoola Bridge) is a major bridge in Yangon, Myanmar built in 2001. It is named after General Maha Bandula, and crosses Pazundaung Creek just east of Yangon's central business district. It is accessed by Maha Bandula Road.

Pazundaung Market (Burmese: ပုဇွန်တောင်ဈေး) is a major public market located in Pazundaung Township, Yangon, Myanmar. The market opened on 8 May 1958, and houses 1,938 shops in an area measuring 5.848 acres (2.367 ha). It serves as eastern Yangon's major municipal market. The market is a major rice distribution hub for rice brokers. An informal street market has emerged near the market, on Kwetthit Street.

Yegyaw Market (Burmese: ရေကျော်ဈေး) is one of two major public market located in Pazundaung Township, Yangon, Myanmar, the other being Pazundaung Market. The market opened in 1924, and houses 272 shops in an area measuring 0.797 acres (0.323 ha). The area around the market hosts a major annual night market during the Thadingyut Festival, which marks the end of the Buddhist lent. The original Yekyaw Market was established in 1924. Reconstruction of the new market began on 24 February 2014, and was completed on 17 February 2016. The new facility was officially opened on 3 October 2016. The new market building is a 8½-story structure, with modern facilities.

Mingala Taungnyunt Township (Burmese: မင်္ဂလာ‌တောင်ညွန့် မြို့နယ် [mɪ̀ɰ̃ɡəlà tàʊɰ̃ ɲʊ̰ɰ̃ mjo̰nɛ̀]; also spelled Mingalar Taung Nyunt) is a township of Yangon, Myanmar. Located in the east-central part of the city, the township consists of 20 wards, and shares borders with Dagon Township in the west, Bahan township in the north, Botataung Township in the south, Kyauktada Township in the southwest, and the Pazundaung Creek and Dawbon Township in the east. With nearly 100,000 residents, it is one of the most populous townships in the city. Mingala Taungnyunt has 22 primary schools, two middle schools and six high schools.

Pazundaung Township (Burmese: ပုဇွန်တောင် မြို့နယ် [bəzʊ̀ɰ̃dàʊɰ̃ mjo̰nɛ̀]) is a township located in the southeastern part of Yangon, Myanmar. The township consists of ten wards, and shares borders with Botataung Township in the west and the south, Mingala Taungnyunt Township in the northwest, Thaketa Township in the north and the Pazundaung Creek in the east. Pazundaung is connected to Dawbon Township across the Maha Bandula Bridge. The township has nine primary schools, three middle schools and four high schools as well as a hospital. Pazundaung Market and Yegyaw Market are the main shopping bazaars of the area.

The Yangon Workers' Hospital (Burmese: အလုပ်သမား ဆေးရုံကြီး (ရန်ကုန်)) is a public hospital in Yangon, Myanmar. It is one of the three social security hospitals and provides free medical services to insured workers with the Social Security Board. It is also a teaching hospital of University of Medicine 1, Yangon.

The Archdiocese of Yangon (Latin: Archidioecesis Yangonensis) is a Latin Church ecclesiastical territory or diocese of the Catholic Church in Myanmar. Charles Bo, SDB was appointed Archbishop of Yangon by Pope John Paul II on May 24, 2003.
