Watertown Square is the main square of Watertown, Massachusetts, located at the confluence of North Beacon Street and Main Street (US-20), Mt. Auburn Street (MA-16), Pleasant Street, Arsenal Street, and Charles River Road. The Armenian Library and Museum of America is located in the square; Watertown Dam is 1,000 feet (300 m) to the west.

The Watertown Bridge is a five-lane traffic bridge over the Charles River, carrying Rt. 16 and Galen Street. It connects Watertown Square on the north side and Watertown Yard on the south side of Watertown, Massachusetts. Pedestrian walkways line each side.

Watertown Carhouse is a bus maintenance facility and former streetcar carhouse located in the southern section of Watertown, Massachusetts, across the Charles River from Watertown Square. As Watertown Yard, the site also serves as a bus depot serving local and express routes, with additional connections available at Watertown Square on the opposite end of the Watertown Bridge.

The Watertown Dam spans the Charles River 980 feet (300 m) upstream from the Watertown Bridge near Watertown Square in Watertown, Massachusetts. The dam is located where the Charles River tidal estuary historically ended (the tides no longer reach this point because of the downstream Charles River Dam). Watertown Dam is of concrete construction, a gravity dam, last rebuilt in 1966. Its length is 220 feet (67 m). Its capacity is 30 acre-feet (37,000 m3). Normal storage is 20 acre-feet (25,000 m3). It drains an area of 0.2 square miles (0.52 km2).The history of the dam traces back to 1632 when construction of a fish weir was authorized. The current dam, maintained by the Department of Conservation and Recreation, dates from 1900. It is part of the Upper Charles River Reservation.

CatholicTV first launched locally in Boston in 1955, making it the oldest Catholic television network in the United States. Today, it is distributed on cable television systems, internet television, and broadcast stations in sixteen U.S. states and the U.S. Virgin Islands and now worldwide. CatholicTV broadcasts programming relevant to Catholic viewers, including live religious services, talk shows, devotional programs, educational series, entertainment, and children's programs. The network regularly presents coverage of liturgies and special events at the Vatican and during papal journeys. As of 2016, the president of the CatholicTV Network is Bishop Robert P. Reed.

The Edmund Fowle House is a historic house and local history museum at 28 Marshall Street in Watertown, Massachusetts, USA. Built in 1772, it is the second-oldest surviving house in Watertown (after the Browne House, built c. 1698), and served as the meeting place for the Massachusetts Provincial Congress in the first year of the American Revolutionary War. Now owned by the local historic society, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1977.

The Miles Pratt House is a historic house in Watertown, Massachusetts. The 2+1⁄2 story wood-frame house was built sometime between 1860 and 1874, and is Watertown's finest surviving Italianate residence. It has wide eaves with paired brackets, and a front entry hood with arched pendants reminiscent of an Italian palazzo. Miles Pratt was the founder of the Walker and Pratt Company, manufacturer of stoves, furnaces, and heaters who prospered in the American Civil War, supplying the Union Army with ammunition and gun carriage castings.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

The House at 68 Maple Street is an historic building located on the corner of Maple Street and Nonantum Road in the village of Newton Corner, in Newton, Massachusetts. Built in the late 1840s, the two-story wood-frame building is a rare local example of a vernacular square hip-roofed Italianate house. Its most prominent feature are its overscaled brackets, which decorate both the extended eaves and the roof line of the bay on the front facade.On September 4, 1986, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places.

The Henry Bigelow House is a historic house in the Newton Corner village of Newton, Massachusetts. Built about 1830, it is a good local example of Greek Revival architecture, important as home to Henry Bigelow, a prominent local educator and philanthropist. On September 4, 1986, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places.

House at 60 William Street is a historic house at 19 Jefferson Street in the Newton Corner village of Newton, Massachusetts. It is listed at 60 William Street in Massachusetts cultural inventory and National Register listings. Built in 1850, it is a well-preserved example of a modest Italianate wood-frame house. It is a 2+1⁄2-story wood-frame building, with an L-shaped layout that has a three-story tower at the crook of the L. Italianate styling includes the tower's shallow-pitch hip roof, and paired round-arch windows on its top level.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.
