On the morning of 9 August 2017, a car rammed into a group of soldiers in the Levallois-Perret commune in the northwestern suburbs of Paris. Six soldiers patrolling the area as part of Opération Sentinelle were injured in the attack, three of them seriously. The driver fled the scene and, several hours later, was shot and arrested by an elite police unit on a highway near the town of Marquise, Pas-de-Calais after attempting to ram a roadblock. According to the French police the incident was terrorist-related.On 23 August 2017 French prosecutors pressed terrorism charges against the suspect, 36-year-old Algerian Hamou Benlatrèche, who was said to have "radical beliefs and showed interest in the Islamic State group."

Levallois-Perret (French pronunciation: [ləvalwa pɛʁɛ] (listen)) is a commune in the Hauts-de-Seine department and Île-de-France region of north-central France. It lies some 6 km (3.7 mi) from the centre of Paris in the north-western suburbs of the French capital. It is the most densely populated town in Europe and, together with neighbouring Neuilly-sur-Seine, one of the most expensive suburbs of Paris.

The Levallois-Perret Cemetery (French: Cimetière de Levallois-Perret, also known simply as Cimetière de Levallois) is a cemetery in the commune of Levallois-Perret in the northwestern suburbs of Paris, France. Strictly speaking it is just outside Paris in the arrondissement of Nanterre, in the Hauts-de-Seine department, in the Île-de-France region. The cemetery was subject of the Michèle Bernard song Au Cimetière de Levallois (which remembers Louise Michel, who is also buried here).

Sainte-Odile is a Roman Catholic church located in the 17th arrondissement of Paris, at 2 avenue Stephane-Mallarme, near the Porte de Champerret at the northwest edge of the city. It takes its name from Odile of Alsace, the patron saint of that region. It was constructed between 1935 and 1946, and is a rare example of Art Deco architecture among the churches of Paris. Its bell tower, 72 meters high, is tallest in Paris. It is also known for its remarkable collection of Art Deco stained glass windows. It was classified as French historic monument in 2001.

The Hertford British Hospital was a hospital founded in Paris in 1871 for British and other English-speaking patients. In 2008 it merged with a nearby French hospital and was renamed to Hôpital franco-britannique. The Hertford British Hospital building was designed by Ernest-Paul Sanson and is a protected national monument.

Pont de Levallois–Bécon (French pronunciation: ​[pɔ̃ d(ə) ləvalwa bekɔ̃]) is the northwestern terminus of Line 3 of the Paris Métro, located in the commune of Levallois-Perret.

The Champerret barrack is a building located in the 17th arrondissement of Paris, France. It houses the HQ of the Paris Fire Brigade, but also a fire station of the 5th fire and rescue company. Champerret barrack is also home to a museum, called: Espace Mémoire.Paris Fire Brigade being a military entity, Champerret barrack is therefore considered a building under the Ministry of Armed Forces.

Tours de Levallois are two office skyscrapers which have been approved to be built in Levallois-Perret, in the inner suburbs of Paris, France. The towers, which are planned to be delivered by 2009, will be 165 meter tall. They will be located above a 3-storey shopping mall under which will be built a car park with a capacity of 1,600 vehicles. The towers in themselves, of identical design, will be dedicated to host strictly corporate offices. The former buildings which used to occupy the land on which those towers will be built have been demolished during the month of September 2006. The preparation phase should start by March 2007, and the construction of the building in itself should have started in August 2007. Construction should have taken 3 years for a final delivery in 2010. In 2008 Mohamed Bin Issa Al Jaber was presented as the new investor behind the project. Construction was suspended in the following months due to payment delays. In February 2011 the city of Levallois was seeking new investors. It filed a complaint against Al Jaber, which resulted in Al Jaber's planning application to be revoqued. The land allocated to the project was then bought back by investment bank BNP Paribas, which intends to make offices instead of the towers.In September 2011, Levallois citizens were informed that a new project was scheduled: 2 skyscrapers in the town centre. A 134 meter tall tower near the Pont de Levallois metro station, and a 190m tower close to the Clichy-Levallois train station. Those buildings being far taller than the Levallois skyline, thousands of citizens are struggling against the project to avoid more traffic jams, pollution, noise, and all other problems induced. Levallois already has the highest population density in Europe and transports and roads are overcrowded.

The European Jewish Center is a Jewish cultural center and synagogue located at place de Jérusalem, in the 17th arrondissement of Paris. The project was conceived by Joël Mergui, president of the Israelite Central Consistory of France. Construction began in 2015 and the building was inaugurated on 29 October 2019 in the presence of French President Emmanuel Macron.
