Trinity Groves is a restaurant and retail development in West Dallas, at the western end of the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge. The development is owned and managed by Stuart Fitts, Larry McGregor, and Phil Romano.Trinity Groves has a Restaurant Concept Incubator program, wherein chefs open new restaurant concepts and see if they are successful enough to expand nationwide.There are plans to expand the development by building apartments and additional retail space, to create a new urban neighborhood close to downtown and the city core.

The Ronald Kirk Bridge is a pedestrian bridge over the Trinity River in Dallas, Texas. It connects Downtown Dallas and West Dallas, paralleling the 2012 Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge for vehicles, and the 1930 Texas and Pacific Railway Trinity River Bridge.

L.G. Pinkston High School is a public secondary school in West Dallas, Texas (USA). L.G. Pinkston High School enrolls students in grades 7-12 and is a part of the Dallas Independent School District (DISD). The school is named in honor of Dr. Lee Gresham Pinkston, an African American doctor who opened what was then Dallas's sole clinic for African-Americans, Pinkston Clinic Hospital, in 1927. He died in 1961. The school serves the West Dallas neighborhoods. In 2015, the school was rated "Met Standard" by the Texas Education Agency.

The Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge is a bridge in Dallas, Texas, that spans the Trinity River. The bridge is named for Margaret Hunt Hill, an heiress and philanthropist. The bridge was constructed as part of the Trinity River Project. Designed by Santiago Calatrava, it is one of three such bridges planned to be built over the Trinity; the second, the Margaret McDermott Bridge, is completed; the third cancelled. The span parallels the Ronald Kirk Bridge, a walking bridge that was previously the Continental Avenue bridge.

The Hilton Anatole is a Dallas hotel at 2201 Stemmons Freeway in the Market Center district just north of downtown Dallas, Texas. Featuring 1,606 guest rooms, it is one of the largest hotels in the South and is a major convention and meeting facility. Over 1,000 art objects, including a casting of Riding Into the Sunset and two sections of the Berlin Wall, are located throughout the resort setting. The hotel previously featured the five-star Nana Restaurant, but it closed in May 2012 due to decreased demand for fine dining restaurants and was replaced with a high-energy steak house, SĒR (pronounced sear).

The Renaissance Dallas Hotel is a 30-story, 137.47 m (451.0 ft) skyscraper hotel in Dallas, Texas. The hotel, with floors, has 514 guest rooms and was completed in 1983, when it opened as a Wyndham hotel. The Renaissance Hotel currently stands as the 24th-tallest building in the city. The building was designed by architect Dahl Braden Chapman. Variously nicknamed "The Bic", "The Bic Lighter", "The Stick", "The Speedstick", "The Mennen Speedstick." The Renaissance Dallas Hotel used to hold the world's second largest free-standing chandelier in the world. It was just replaced in 2011. The hotel is also known for its distinctive elliptical shape and diagonal roofline. The slanted roofline provides for a large curtain wall. This shelters the building's open-air rooftop swimming pool, which is one of the highest pools in Dallas. The building's unique design led to it being prominently featured in a cover image of a 1984 issue of National Geographic. The structure initially opened in 1983 as a Wyndham hotel, but was renamed in 1987 after Stouffer parent company Nestlé approved its acquisition in 1987. Stouffer Hotels Corporation took the hotel over from real estate developer Trammel Crow via a controlling joint ownership venture and managing contract agreement. The building was acquired by Marriot International in 1997 with its Renaissance brand.

Stevens Park Golf Course is a public golf course in the Kessler area of Dallas, Texas United States. Often described as the "Little Augusta" of North Texas, the course is located just west of Downtown Dallas and nestled between the Stevens Park Estates and Kessler Park neighborhoods.

La Réunion was a utopian socialist community formed in 1855 by French, Belgian, and Swiss colonists on the south bank of the Trinity River in central Dallas County, Texas (US). The colony site is a short distance north of Interstate 30 near downtown Dallas. The founder of the community, Victor Prosper Considerant, was a French democratic socialist who directed an international movement based on Fourierism, a set of economic, political, and social beliefs advocated by French philosopher François Marie Charles Fourier. Fourierism subsequently became known as a form of utopian socialism.Initially, plans for the colony were loosely structured by design as it was Considerant's intent to make it a "communal experiment administered by a system of direct democracy." The crux of the plan was to allow participants to share in profits derived from capital investments and the amount and quality of labor performed. La Réunion existed for only eighteen months with its demise attributable to financial insolvency, a shortage of skilled participants, inclement weather, inability to succeed at farming, and rising costs. On January 28, 1857, Allyre Bureau, one of the society leaders, gave formal notice of the colony's dissolution. By 1860, what remained was incorporated into the expanding city of Dallas.
