Norrviken railway station

Sollentuna Church is located in Sollentuna Municipality. It is one of the churches in Sollentuna Parish.

Sollentuna socken is a former socken of Sollentuna Hundred in Uppland, Sweden. The area largely corresponds to the modern Sollentuna Municipality, but not completely. Hansta was incorporated into Stockholm Municipality in 1980, while other localities (such as Silverdal) were incorporated into the municipality from other parishes. The parish encompassed an area of approximately 49.50 square kilometres (19.11 sq mi), whereof 46.08 square kilometres (17.79 sq mi) were land. Edsberg Castle, the seat farm of Sollentunaholm, the locality of Sjöberg, the municipal districts of Rotebro, Viby, Norrviken, Vaxmora, Häggvik, Edsberg, Tureberg, and Helenelund as well as Sollentuna Station and the parish church of Sollentuna were located in the parish.

Rotebro is a station on Stockholm's commuter rail network, located 19 km north of Stockholm Central Station. The station consists of a single island platform and has two entrance halls. As of 2011, the station had approximately 3,700 boardings per weekday.

Häggvik is a station on Stockholm's commuter rail network, located 15.3 km north of Stockholm Central Station in the Häggvik district of Sollentuna Municipality. The station consists of a single island platform, with the entrance located at the northern end, accessible via an underground pedestrian tunnel. As of 2011, the station had approximately 2,200 boardings per weekday.

Rotebro () is a neighbourhood of Sollentuna Municipality, Stockholm County, Sweden, and is part of Stockholm. It is divided into two parts, Rotsunda and Gillbo, by the railway. Rotebro is located in the northernmost part of Sollentuna Municipality. In the 1890s, a yeast factory moved there from Alkärret, Brunnsviken. Wesströms tool factory (near lake Norrviken) and Goljes rubber factory were other important businesses in the area. The names Rotebro and Rotsunda were formed from a bridge (Sw. bro) spanning a strait (Sw. sund). The bridge was used in times of unrest as a meeting point for troops. The river Edsån joins lake Edssjön and lake Norrviken. Originally, the river was a canal, which was dug through the marshland in the 19th century to drain it and free more arable land. North of the river is a hill with a hill fort from the Battle of Rotebro in 1497, when troops loyal to Sten Sture the Elder lost a battle against the Danish army led by Hans of Denmark, which included forces from Uppland. Near the bridge over Edsån an inn was located, which was destroyed in a fire in 1971. In the 19th century, the painter August Malmström sometimes stayed in this inn; his painting Grindslanten from 1885 depicts a fight by a gate in Rotebro. Rotebro has a station on the Stockholm commuter rail system, 19 km north of Stockholm Central Station.

Edsbacka krog ("Edsbacka inn") is a restaurant on the banks of the Edsviken in Sollentuna, Sweden, just north of Stockholm. It closed in February 2010, and was then one of two Swedish restaurants with two stars in the Michelin Guide.

Tureberg () is a neighbourhood in Sollentuna Municipality, Stockholm County, Sweden with 18,866 inhabitants (2018). It is a Stockholm suburb and houses the seat of local government for the municipality as well as a large shopping mall and a Stockholm commuter rail station. Tureberg has also evolved as a law enforcement center for the northern part of metropolitan Stockholm, with police station, court house, prosecutor's office, and a jail, all in buildings built in the 1980s and onwards. The present courthouse was inaugurated in 2010. Tureberg is a Risk area.

Sollentuna Köping was a köping in Sollentuna Hundred. In 1971, it was reformed into Sollentuna Municipality.

Uppland Runic Inscription 100 is the Rundata designation for a memorial runestone that is located in the forest where a path meets a bog near Skälby, which is about two kilometers northeast of Sollentuna, Stockholm County, Sweden, which was part of the historical province of Uppland.

Sollentuna is one of the five stations of the Stockholm commuter rail in Sollentuna Municipality. It is situated in the neighbourhood of Tureberg 13.3 km north of Stockholm Central Station. The station was originally called Tureberg and was opened in 1866 in a rural setting along the railway Stockholm–Uppsala. The name was changed to Sollentuna in 1968 at the request of the municipality, since Tureberg is the de facto centre of the municipality. The area around the station has developed into a suburban centre with high rise buildings, a bus terminal and a large shopping mall.
