The Mother's International School (MIS) is a private secondary school in New Delhi, India. It is an establishment of the Sri Aurobindo Education Society, an agency of the Sri Aurobindo Ashram. It shares its campus with the New Delhi branch of the Ashram. The school is an English-medium co-educational institution affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). In 2001, Outlook's "C-Fore Best School Survey" had ranked MIS as the best school in Delhi. It won News Wiz 2018 Episode 7.The school shares a campus with other institutions including the alternative education school, Mirambika. Sri Aurobindo College is a constituent college of the University of Delhi in India. It was established in year 1972, which was the birth centenary year of the philosopher, patriot-poet, Sri Aurobindo. The Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi is a public institute of technology located in New Delhi, India. It is one of the 23 IITs created to be Centres of Excellence for training, research and development in science, engineering and technology in India. Established in 1961, was formally inaugurated in August 1961 by Prof. Humayun Kabir, Minister of Scientific Research & Cultural Affairs. First admissions were made in 1961.The current campus has an area of 320 acres (or 1.3 km2) and is bounded by the Sri Aurobindo Marg on the east, the Jawaharlal Nehru University Complex on the west, the National Council of Educational Research and Training on the south, and the New Ring Road on the north, and flanked by Qutub Minar and the Hauz Khas monuments.The institute was later decreed in the Institutes of National Importance under the Institutes of Technology Amendment Act, 1963, and accorded the status of a full University with powers to decide its academic policy, conduct its examinations, and award its degrees.

Punjab College of Engineering & Technology (PCET) is an engineering institute located in Mohali Punjab. Established in 2002 this college is a part of Punjab Group of Colleges (PGC), Mohali under the aegis of Guru Nanak Dev Educational and Charitable Society (GNDECS), Lalru Mandi. PCET is affiliated to Punjab Technical University (PTU), Jallandhar and courses are approved by AICTE, New Delhi. The college is located 5 km off Ambala-Chandigarh Highway. The IIT Delhi metro station is located on the Magenta Line of the Delhi Metro. It was opened to public on 29 May 2018.

The Hauz Khas metro station is an interchange station between the Yellow Line and the Magenta Line of the Delhi Metro. It serves Hauz Khas Enclave, Sarvapriya Vihar, Vijay Mandal Enclave, RBI colony, Mayfair Gardens and the IIT Delhi. The entrance to the station is located on Outer Ring Road, to the east of Aurobindo Marg and to the west of Khelgaon Marg. At 29 metres (95 ft) underground, Hauz Khas is the deepest station in Delhi Metro. It has 23 escalators and 9 lifts.

The Malviya Nagar Metro Station is located on the Yellow Line of the Delhi Metro.It is located near the PVR Cinemas multiplex, just north of Saket's A block. It is nearer to Geetanjali Enclave than to Malviya Nagar.

Hauz Khas is witnessing the growth of trendy shops and lodgings. It is now becoming the center for domestic and international tourists and backpackers. The area also is home to historical monuments and has easy access to the Delhi Metro, making it a preferred location for many visitors to India and domestic middle-class visitors from other Indian states. The area attracts young tourists with numerous hostels and cafes.
