Douglas Ellington House is a historic home located at Asheville, Buncombe County, North Carolina. It was built in 1926 by architect Douglas Ellington, and is an eclectic stone and brick cottage set into its terraced, hillside site. It consists of a two-bay, 1+1⁄2-story brick "cottage" under a broad-eaved, wood shingled hip roof; a five-bay, uncoursed stone central block; and a traditional, single-room log cabin, said to have been on the property when Ellington's brother, Kenneth Ellington, bought it. They thought it to be over 100 years old.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.

It also features a £38 Million (US$44 million), 3,700-square-metre (40,000 sq ft), modern subterranean spa. The Grove Park Inn is a member of the Historic Hotel of America, the program of the National Trust for Historic Preservation. The Grove Park Inn also owns an 18-hole golf course situated on the hill below the hotel. Donald Ross (who designed Pinehurst Resort) designed the original course.

The district encompasses nine contributing buildings in a residential section of Asheville. The property was developed after 1913, and includes representative examples of Tudor Revival and Bungalow style dwellings. Notable dwellings include the Rosemary Cottage (1913), Primrose Cottage (1913), Rambler Cottage (1915), Westview Cottage (1915), and Violet Cottage (1920).It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.

Overlook Castle or Seely Castle is a historic house in Asheville, North Carolina. It was built from 1912 to 1914 for Fred Loring Seely, the son-in-law of Edwin Wiley Grove. He built the castle after his father-in-law gave him ten acres on top of Sunset Mountain. The property was added to the National Register of Historic Places on October 22, 1980.

Richard Sharp Smith House, now known as Stoneybrook, is a historic home located at Asheville, Buncombe County, North Carolina. It was designed and built by architect Richard Sharp Smith in 1902–1903. It is a 1+1⁄2-story, stone and stucco American Craftsman / bungalow style dwelling. It features a projecting front gable bay and leaded glass windows.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2009.

Dr. Carl V. Reynolds House, now known as the Albemarle Inn, is a historic home located at Asheville, Buncombe County, North Carolina. It was built in 1909, and is a three-story, square frame dwelling in the Colonial Revival / Neoclassical style. It features a flat roofed portico with pairs of fluted Corinthian order columns and half-round pilasters. The home was converted into apartments in the 1940s and now houses an inn.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

The district encompasses 62 contributing buildings and 1 contributing site in a predominantly residential section of Asheville. The district was largely developed in early-20th century, and includes representative examples of Colonial Revival, Mission Revival, and Bungalow style dwellings. Located in the district is the separately listed St. Mary's Church (1914) and rectory (1923) designed by architect Richard Sharp Smith.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2008.

Ottari Sanitarium, also known as the Coburn Apartments, is a historic building complex located at 491 Kimberly Avenue in Asheville, Buncombe County, North Carolina. The original section was built in 1912, and now forms the east end of the building. It is a three-story, stuccoed brick building with a hipped roof. It was enlarged in 1923, with the addition of a three-story, 14 bay brick addition, connected to the original building by a two-story section. The building was converted to apartments in 1937.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.

St. Mary's Episcopal Church is an Anglo-Catholic Episcopal parish in Asheville, North Carolina in the Episcopal Diocese of Western North Carolina Its historic redbrick Gothic Revival church was designed by Richard Sharp Smith and Chauncey Beadle and built in 1914.It was listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places in 1994. It is located in the Proximity Park Historic District.

Manor and Cottages is a historic resort complex and national historic district located at Asheville, Buncombe County, North Carolina. The complex encompassed 36 contributing buildings that were built starting in 1898. The main hotel, The Manor, was built starting in 1898–1899, and consists of a rambling group of interconnected wings with elements of the Colonial Revival, Shingle Style, and Tudor Revival styles. Wings were added to the original building in 1903 and 1913–1914. Located on the property are the contributing Club House (c. 1903) and a 19 guest cottages built between 1899 and 1920. The hotel was later converted for use as a retirement hotel for elderly persons with limited incomes.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.

Grove Park Historic District is a national historic district located at Asheville, Buncombe County, North Carolina. The district encompasses 290 contributing buildings and 1 contributing site in a predominantly residential section Asheville. The planned suburban community was originally platted and developed in 1908-1913 and 1914. It includes representative examples of Colonial Revival, Tudor Revival, and Bungalow style dwellings. The community was laid out by noted landscape architect Chauncey Beadle. The Kimberly Amendment to Grove Park was an expansion made to the original Grove Park development in 1923. It includes the former Asheville Country Club, now the Grove Park Inn Country Club.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989, with a boundary increase in 1990.
