Suminoe Station (住ノ江駅, Suminoe-eki) is a train station on the Nankai Main Line in Suminoe-ku, Osaka, Osaka Prefecture, Japan, operated by the private railway operator Nankai Electric Railway.

Sumiyoshi Park (住吉公園 Sumiyoshi Kōen) is an Osaka prefectural park in Hamaguchi-higashi Itchome, Suminoe-ku, Osaka, Japan. It was registered by Osaka Prefecture in 1873 with Hamadera Park in Nishi-ku, Sakai, and is the oldest park in Osaka.

Row House in Sumiyoshi (住吉の長屋, Sumiyoshi no Nagaya), also called Azuma House (Japanese 東邸), is a personal residence in Sumiyoshi-ku, Osaka, Japan. It was designed by Japanese architect Tadao Ando in his early career. It was designed without exterior windows reflecting the desire of the owner to feel that he was not "in Japan", but to compensate for lost light, an interior courtyard with cross walkway was created. Ando's concrete architectural style, reflected in the design of the Azuma House, inspired the set design for the music video of Jamiroquai's "Virtual Insanity".

Sumiyoshi-taisha (住吉大社), also known as Sumiyoshi Grand Shrine, is a Shinto shrine in Sumiyoshi-ku, Osaka, Osaka Prefecture, Japan. It is the main shrine of all the Sumiyoshi shrines in Japan. However, the oldest shrine that enshrines the Sumiyoshi sanjin, the three Sumiyoshi kami, is the Sumiyoshi Shrine in Hakata. It is called Sumiyoshi-san or Sumiyossan by the locals, and is famous for the large crowds that come to the shrine on New Year's Day for hatsumōde. Sumiyoshi taisha enshrines the Sumiyoshi sanjin (Sokotsutsu no Ono-mikoto, Nakatsutsu no Ono-mikoto, and Uwatsutsu no Ono-mikoto) (collectively known as the "Sumiyoshi Ōkami") and Okinagatarashi-hime no Mikoto (Empress Jingū). It gives its name to a style of shrine architecture known as Sumiyoshi-zukuri.

The Sumiyoshi Angū (住吉行宮) was the location of a temporary palace of the Southern Court during the Nanboku-chō period of Japanese history. It was located in Sumie, Sumiyoshi-ku, Osaka in the Kansai region of Japan. The site was designated a National Historic Site of Japan in 1939. The Sumiyoshi Angū was located about 300 meters south of Sumiyoshi Taisha Shrine.
