The Coliseum of Porto (Portuguese: Coliseu do Porto) is a Portuguese theatre and concert venue in the municipality of Porto, in northern Portugal, with a capacity for a standing audience of 4000. A leading venue for music and cultural events in Porto, together with Batalha Cinema, the Coliseu is an example of Portuguese Streamline Moderne and Art Deco styles in the city of Porto.

Café Majestic is an historic café, located at Rua de Santa Catarina, in Porto, Portugal. The building is from the Art Nouveau period, reminiscent of Parisian cafés at the time.

Santo Ildefonso (Portuguese pronunciation: [ˈsɐ̃tu iɫdɨˈfõsu]) is a former civil parish in the municipality of Porto, Portugal. In 2013, the parish merged into the new parish Cedofeita, Santo Ildefonso, Sé, Miragaia, São Nicolau e Vitória. The population in 2011 was 9,029, in an area of 1.24 km².

The District of Porto (Portuguese: Distrito do Porto [ˈpoɾtu] (listen)) is located on the north-west coast of Portugal. The Teatro Sá da Bandeira is the oldest performance venue in the city of Porto, with a capacity for 786 people and opened in 1846, it was responsible for the first presentation of films produced in Portuguese (on 12 November 1896, by Aurélio Paz dos Reis), and was converted in the first years of its opening on stage to some of the 19th century theater biggest stars, such as Sarah Bernhardt, Julián Gayarre and Antonio Scalvini.

The Cinema Batalha is a Portuguese cinema and concert venue in civil parish of Cedofeita, Santo Ildefonso, Sé, Miragaia, São Nicolau e Vitória, municipality of Porto. Originally known as the Salão High-Life (High Life Cinema), it was moved from Boavista by its owners to its current location, and rebuilt by architect Artur Andrade in the Art-Deco style, re-inaugurated on 3 June 1947. After many years of success, the building and the cinema began losing customers (due to the popularity of video rental services in the 1980s and the growth of multiplex theatres in malls during the 1990s), and was closed in 2003. Re-opened as a cultural and concert venue in 2006, the reconstruction faithfully maintained the original Art-Deco style and (along with the Coliseu do Porto) is one of the more impressive examples of the movement in Porto and Portugal.

Casa Vicent is a historic building in the civil parish of Santo Ildefonso, in the Portuguese city of Porto. Located in the historic lower town (Portuguese: Baixa), the shop is notable for the Art Nouveau and Rococo elements and undulating forms of its iron facade; it is similar to the facades of the Ourivesaria Cunha and Ourivesaria Reis along the same road, all constructed by the Companhia Aliança.

The Porto–Trindade Railway Station was a major railway station in the Portuguese city of Porto. It served as the city terminus for a network of 1,000 mm (3 ft 3+3⁄8 in) gauge railways that served the area to the north of the city, including lines stretching as far as Matosinhos, Póvoa de Varzim, Vila Nova de Famalicão and Guimarães. It was opened on 30 October 1938 and closed on 28 April 2001. The station site is now occupied by the Trindade station of the Porto Metro, which has also replaced some of the rail services operated from the former station.

The Porto Municipal Chamber (Portuguese: Câmara Municipal do Porto) is the administrative authority in the municipality of Porto. It has 7 freguesias in its area of jurisdiction and is based in the city of Porto, on the Porto District. These freguesias are: Aldoar, Foz do Douro e Nevogilde, Bonfim, Campanhã, Cedofeita, Santo Ildefonso, Sé, Miragaia, São Nicolau e Vitória, Lordelo do Ouro e Massarelos, Paranhos and Ramalde. Porto City Council is the second largest in the country and is made up of 13 councillors, representing different political forces. The first candidate on the list with the most votes in a municipal election or, in the event of a vacancy, the next candidate on the list, takes office as President of the Municipal Chamber.
