The Café Terminus was a popular cafe in the late 19th century near the Gare Saint-Lazare, located in Paris, France. It is infamously known as the target of a bomb attack by French Anarchist Émile Henry on February 12, 1894.

The Hilton Paris Opéra is a historic hotel in the 8th arrondissement of Paris, France. It was initially opened as the Hotel Terminus on May 7, 1889 for the 1889 World's Fair in Paris, the same event the Eiffel Tower was originally built for. It was built by French architect Juste Lisch and originally designed to accommodate transatlantic travelers arriving from Normandy by train. Later, it would change its name to the Concorde Opéra.After being purchased by Hilton in 2013, the hotel underwent a restoration for upwards of $50 million, and was reopened in 2015 under the Hilton Paris Opéra name.The hotel features 268 guest rooms and is considered significant for its Belle Époque style architecture, with high ceilings and ornate decor. It was added to the Historic Hotels of America Historic Hotels Worldwide list in 2018, and in 2023 made the list of the top 25 Historic Hotels Worldwide Most Magnificent Ceilings and Domes.

Au roi de la bière is a former brasserie in the 8th arrondissement of Paris, France. It has been an official Historic Monument since 1997.

Saint-Lazare (French pronunciation: ​[sɛ̃ lazaʁ]) is a station on Line 3, Line 12, Line 13 and Line 14 of the Paris Métro. Line 9 also stops at Saint Augustin and RER E stops at Haussmann Saint Lazare. A tunnel connects both of these stations. Located on the border of the 8th and 9th arrondissements, it is the second busiest station of the Métro system after Gare du Nord with 39 million passengers annually. The station offers connections to the following other stations: Gare Saint-Lazare (SNCF), Haussmann–Saint-Lazare on RER E, Havre – Caumartin on Line 3 and Line 9, in addition to Saint-Augustin on Line 9. The station is named after the mainline railway station, which is situated in Rue Saint-Lazare. It is in the commercial centre of Paris, near the major department stores.

The One-Two-Two was one of the most luxurious and illustrious brothels of Paris in the 1930s and 1940s. The name was taken from the address, 122 Rue de Provence, 8th arrondissement of Paris. The numbers were translated into English to ensure that foreign tourists would be able to find the brothel and as a password for French people. Opened in 1924, the "One-Two-Two" closed its doors in 1946 when the Marthe Richard law prohibited brothels in France. The building is now used for business and law offices.

The Gare Saint-Lazare (English: St Lazarus station), officially Paris-Saint-Lazare, is one of the six large mainline railway station termini in Paris, France. It serves train services toward Normandy, northwest of Paris, along the Paris–Le Havre railway. Saint-Lazare is the third busiest station in Paris, after the Gare du Nord and Gare de Lyon. It handles 275,000 passengers each day. The station was designed by architect Juste Lisch; the maître d'œuvre (general contractor) was Eugène Flachat.

The Lycée Condorcet (French: [lise kɔ̃dɔʁsɛ]) is a school founded in 1803 in Paris, France, located at 8, rue du Havre, in the city's 9th arrondissement. It is one of the four oldest high schools in Paris and also one of the most prestigious. Since its inception, various political eras have seen it given a number of different names, but its identity today honors the memory of the Marquis de Condorcet. The school provides secondary education as part of the French education system. Henri Bergson, Horace Finaly, Claude Lévi-Strauss, Marcel Proust, Francis Poulenc and Paul Verlaine are some of the students who attended the Lycée Condorcet. Some of the school's famous teachers include Jean Beaufret, Paul Bénichou, Jean-Marie Guyau, Jean-Paul Sartre, and Stéphane Mallarmé.

Passage du Havre is one of the covered passages of Paris. Formerly geared towards fish shops and railway modelling (Hornby, La Maison du Train), the arcade was rebuilt in the late 1990s as a modern mall at the time as the construction of Paris' RER E underground railway line, to welcome new shops more in keeping with the Quartier de l'Opéra-Saint Lazare, the heart of Paris major business district. The passage is near Gare Saint-Lazare and opposite the Hilton Paris Opera (the station's hotel). It begins at Place du Havre and leads onto Rue de Caumartin where it ends. The shopping centre is owned and maintained by Eurocommercial Properties N.V..

The théâtre des Mathurins, also called Les Mathurins, is a Parisian theatre located 36, rue des Mathurins in the 8th arrondissement of Paris established in 1897.

The Rue Greffulhe is a street in the 8th arrondissement of Paris, France. It was named after Count Louis-Charles Greffulhe, who was the owner of the land prior to its construction in 1839. Composer Georges Hugon lived at number 5 while Reynaldo Hahn lived at number 7.

Cours Hattemer is a French private, secular school. Saint-Louis-d'Antin is a Roman Catholic parish church located at 63 rue Caumartin in the 9th arrondissement of Paris, next to Place Georges-Berry, close to the major Paris department stores Printemps and Galeries Lafayette, and the Gare Saint-Lazare railway station. It was originally built in 1783 as a monastery chapel, then became a parish church in 1802. It is known for its lavish Neclassical interior and its collection of 19th century paintings and stained glass.
