Shek O Road

Shek O Country Park is a rural marine park located on Shek O, Southern District, Hong Kong and facing the South China Sea. The 701-hectare park opened on 21 September 1979. Urban hiking is extremely popular here, there are three exceptional hiking trails, one of which Time Magazine Asia declared the best urban hiking trail in Asia, the Dragon's Back.The spider species Uroballus carlei was discovered at this park.

The Dragon's Back (Chinese: 龍脊) is a mountain ridge in southeastern Hong Kong Island, Hong Kong that passes through Shek O Peak. It lies within the Shek O Country Park. In 2019, the Dragon's Back Trail was selected by CNN as one of the world's 23 best trails. Dragon's Back is part of Stage 8 of the Hong Kong Trail.

Tai Tam Harbour (Chinese: 大潭港) is a harbour in the innermost part of Tai Tam Bay in Hong Kong. It is located at the estuary of Tai Tam Tuk. The resited village of Tai Tam Tuk is located at the estuary by the harbour, after construction of Tai Tam Tuk Reservoir. The harbour was once a gathering water of Tanka boat people.Part of the estuary is fully of mangrove.

Big Wave Bay or Tai Long Wan (大浪灣) is a bay in the Southern District of Hong Kong. It is located on the eastern coast of Hong Kong Island, south of Cape Collinson and north of Shek O. This bay should not be confused with the bay with the same name in Sai Kung. Big Wave Bay has a beach popular among surfers. It is also the site of a prehistoric rock carving, which is a declared monument.Tai Long Wan Village (大浪灣村) is located nearby.

Big Wave Bay Beach is a gazetted beach next to Big Wave Bay, Shek O, Southern District, Hong Kong. The beach has barbecue pits and is managed by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department of the Hong Kong Government. The beach is 86 metres long and is rated as Grade 1 by the Environmental Protection Department for its water quality. This beach is popular among surfers.

Mount Collinson (Chinese: 歌連臣山) is a mountain located in the far east of Hong Kong Island, Hong Kong. The mountain has a sea level elevation of 348 m (1,142 ft).It is situated within the Shek O Country Park, which has an area of 7.01 square kilometres (2.71 square miles). It is located in the southeastern corner of Hong Kong Island. There are 7 named peaks in the park, and Mount Collinson is the highest among them.

Redhill Peninsula (Chinese: 紅山半島) is a low rise private housing estate in Tai Tam, Hong Kong. It is built at a round-shaped peninsula situated in Southern District towards Tai Tam Harbour and Turtle Cove. The peninsula includes a 113 metres hill named 'Red Hill'. Redhill Peninsula has been developed by Sino Land and Chinachem into 4 phases that were completed from 1990 to 1992. The houses appear to have been built on three levels.

Red Hill (Chinese: 白筆山), also known as Pak Pat Shan, is a 113-metre (371 ft) hill located in Tai Tam, Southern District, Hong Kong.

Pottinger Peak (Chinese: 砵甸乍山) is a mountain on the eastern side of Hong Kong Island. It is located south of Chai Wan and Siu Sai Wan and north of Big Wave Bay. Initially known as Ma Tong Peak, it was renamed Pottinger Peak after Henry Pottinger, the first Governor of Hong Kong. The peak is 312m above sea level.

Tai Tam or Tytam is an area in Southern District on Hong Kong Island, Hong Kong. Tai Tam means a big pool in the Chinese language which illustrates a triangular bay, namely Tai Tam Bay between Stanley Peninsula, D'Aguilar Peak and Tai Tam Tuk ([tàːi tʰȁːm tók̚], lit. innermost of Tai Tam, also known as Tytam Took). The meaning of Tai Tam varies greatly between the early colonial days and the present day.

Hong Kong International School (HKIS) is an international private school with campuses in Tai Tam and Repulse Bay, Hong Kong. The school was founded in 1966. Today, HKIS spans from reception one to the twelfth grade. Its Lower and Upper Primary Divisions are located in Repulse Bay, and the Middle and High Schools are located in Tai Tam. The Western Association of Schools and Colleges has continuously accredited Hong Kong International School since 1971.

D'Aguilar Peninsula (Chinese: 鶴咀半島) is located in southeastern Hong Kong Island, in the Southern District of Hong Kong. It is named after Major-General Sir George Charles d'Aguilar. Cape D'Aguilar is located in the southeastern part of D'Aguilar Peninsula. It is worth noting that Hok Tsui (Chinese: 鶴咀) actually refers to a different cape to the southwest of the peninsula.
