Hong Kong Buddhist Cemetery is a private cemetery located in Cape Collinson, on Hong Kong Island, Hong Kong. It is managed by The Hong Kong Buddhist Association (香港佛教聯合會). The cemetery was completed and opened in 1963.

Tai Tam Gap Correctional Institution (Chinese: 大潭峽懲教所) is a prison in Eastern District, Hong Kong, operated by Hong Kong Correctional Services. The Standard stated that it was in Shek O.It opened on 1 May 1980. At the time, it was a prison for young girls and women. 14 was the minimum age.In 2020, the prison service announced that it would make Tai Tam Gap the first "smart prison" in the territory.

Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery is a private cemetery located in Cape Collinson, on Hong Kong Island, Hong Kong. It is managed by The Catholic Diocese of Hong Kong (天主教香港教區). The cemetery was completed and opened in 1960.

Sai Wan War Cemetery is a military cemetery located in Chai Wan, Hong Kong which was built in 1946. The cemetery was created to commemorate soldiers of Hong Kong Garrison who perished during the Second World War. The cemetery also contains 12 World War I burials. A total of 1,528 soldiers, mainly from the Commonwealth, are commemorated here. Most of the remaining burials are located at the Stanley Military Cemetery.

The Chai Wan Mosque (traditional Chinese: 柴灣清真寺; simplified Chinese: 柴湾清真寺; pinyin: Cháiwān Qīngzhēnsì) or Cape Collinson Mosque is a mosque in Chai Wan, Hong Kong, China. It is the fifth mosque built in Hong Kong.

Cape Collinson Crematorium is a crematorium located in Tai Tam Gap, Eastern District, Hong Kong. It was opened in 1962 and is located near Cape Collinson Road and more cemeteries in Chai Wan area, where the columbaria niches are located. The crematorium is managed by the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department of the Hong Kong Government. In addition to the basic cremation services, there is a garden of remembrance and a 7-storey columbarium of about 56 m2 for spreading cremated ashes.Among many funeral facilities, Cape Collinson Crematorium is located furthest away from residential areas. Therefore, many celebrities in the city, such as entertainers, choose to be cremated in this crematorium after their deaths.

Cape Collinson Chinese Permanent Cemetery (Chinese: 柴灣華人永遠墳場; lit. 'Chai Wan Chinese Permanent Cemetery') is a private, non-profit cemetery in Cape Collinson, Hong Kong. It is one of the largest cemeteries in Hong Kong. The term 'Permanent' refers to the cemetery site, not the graves. The cemetery is nevertheless like all other plots of land in the territory subject to a land lease. For this cemetery the lease expire in 2036.

Fung Wah Estate (Chinese: 峰華邨) is a mixed TPS and public housing estate on a hill in southwest Chai Wan, Hong Kong Island, Hong Kong near Cape Collinson Crematorium. It consists of two residential blocks completed in 1991. Some of the flats were sold under Tenants Purchase Scheme Phase 3 in 2000.King Tsui Court (Chinese: 景翠苑) is a Home Ownership Scheme court in Chai Wan, next to Fung Wah Estate. It has only one residential block completed in 1991.

Wan Tsui Estate (Chinese: 環翠邨) is a public housing estate in Chai Wan, Hong Kong Island, Hong Kong located at a part of former Chai Wan Estate and opposite to MTR Chai Wan station. It now has eleven residential buildings completed between 1979 and 2001. Yan Tsui Court (Chinese: 茵翠苑) and Yuet Chui Court (Chinese: 悅翠苑) are Home Ownership Scheme courts in Chai Wan, next to Wan Tsui Estate. They have two residential blocks (built in 1983) and one residential block (built in 1999) respectively.

Hing Wah Estate (Chinese: 興華邨) is a public housing estate in Chai Wan, Hong Kong Island, Hong Kong, near MTR Chai Wan station. The estate comprises 10 residential buildings. The 7 "Old Slab" blocks belong to Hing Wah (II) Estate (Chinese: 興華(二)邨) completed in 1976, while the 3 "Harmony 1" buildings belong to Hing Wah (I) Estate (Chinese: 興華(一)邨) completed in 1999 and 2000.

Youth Square (Chinese: 青年廣場), formerly known as Hong Kong Centre for Youth Development (香港青年發展中心) is a youth activities complex in Hong Kong. It is located at 238 Chai Wan Road, Chai Wan on Hong Kong Island. It is owned by Home Affairs Bureau of Hong Kong Government. The construction of Youth Square commenced in June 2001 and was completed in November 2008. The building is managed and operated by New World Facilities Management Company Limited since 2010.

Law Uk is a former Hakka village house in Chai Wan, Hong Kong. Named after the surname of the family who lived in the house, it was built in the mid-18th century during the Qing Dynasty, about 90 years before the British took possession of Hong Kong Island. It was rediscovered in the 1970s and is a declared monument of Hong Kong. After being restored, the house was turned into the Law Uk Folk Museum, which serves as a branch of the Hong Kong Museum of History. It is the only example of Hakka architecture left in the area.
