The Hardyville Cemetery, also known as the Hardyville Pioneer Cemetery, at 1776 Arizona State Route 95 in Bullhead City, Arizona, is a historic 2.5-acre (1.0 ha) cemetery that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.It is the only surviving significant remnant of Hardyville, a once-thriving shipping port for steamboats (on the Colorado River) and had served as the county seat of Mohave County. It contains 17 graves, each covered with a pile of cobble stones, as originally created.It was listed on the National Register in 2001.

Bullhead City is a city located on the Colorado River in Mohave County, Arizona, United States, 97 miles (156 km) south of Las Vegas, Nevada, and directly across the Colorado River from Laughlin, Nevada, whose casinos and ancillary services supply much of the employment for Bullhead City. Bullhead City is located at the southern end of Lake Mohave. Feeding homeless people in parks is banned in Bullhead City.As of the 2020 census, the population of Bullhead City was 41,348. The nearby communities of Laughlin, Needles, California, Fort Mohave and Mohave Valley bring the Bullhead area's total population to over 77,000, making it the largest economic region in Mohave County.With over 60 square miles (160 km2), Bullhead City is the largest city in Mohave County in terms of total land area.In 2011, the Laughlin/Bullhead International Airport was named Airport of the Year by the Arizona Department of Transportation. "More than 115,000 people flew into Laughlin/Bullhead International Airport on casino-sponsored charters in 2010." In the 1980s the airport was home to the helicopters of the TV show Airwolf. In 2022, in an incident described internationally as “criminalising kindness”, 78-year-old local resident Norma Thornton was arrested and accused of violating an ordinance against sharing food for "charitable purposes" at public parks. The charges were later dropped in July. But the Arizona grandmother said she was warned that if she began sharing food in the park again, she would go to jail.

Mohave High School is the high school for Bullhead City, Arizona. It is operated by the Colorado River Union High School District.

Mohave Power Station (known also as Mohave Generating Station, or MOGS) was a 1580 megawatt electric (MWe) coal-fired power plant that was located in Laughlin, Nevada. Southern California Edison is the majority owner of the plant and was its operator. The plant entered commercial operation in 1971. A steam line that ran near the plant's control room and cafeteria ruptured on June 9, 1985, fatally scalding six and injuring ten more. In 2005, the plant was shut down and was later dismantled.

Laughlin is an unincorporated resort town and census-designated place in Clark County, Nevada, United States. Laughlin lies 90 miles (140 km) south of Las Vegas, in the far southern tip of Nevada, and is known for its gaming and water recreation. Laughlin is also 286 miles (460 km) northeast of Los Angeles.Laughlin was named for Don Laughlin, an Owatonna, Minnesota, native who purchased the southern tip of Nevada in 1964 (informally called South Pointe). At the time, Don Laughlin operated the 101 Club in Las Vegas. He opened what would become the Riverside Resort, and later wanted to call the community Riverside or Casino, but the post office opted for Laughlin instead.

Laughlin River Run was an annual motorcycle rally held in Laughlin, Nevada. It was the largest gathering of bikes and bikers in the Western United States. The event drew an estimated 70,000 motorcycle enthusiasts in 2005.

Harrah's Laughlin (formerly Harrah's Del Rio) is a casino hotel on the banks of the Colorado River in Laughlin, Nevada. It has 1,505 rooms, including 115 suites, as well as a 56,357 sq ft (5,235.7 m2) casino. There are several restaurants, a poker room, keno and a race and sports book. It is owned by Vici Properties and operated by Caesars Entertainment.

The Laughlin River Lodge (formerly Sam's Town Gold River, Gold River and River Palms) is a hotel and casino on the banks of the Colorado River in Laughlin, Nevada. It is owned and operated by Richard Craig Estey (Nevada Restaurant Services). The property includes a 41,000 sq ft (3,800 m2) casino and 1,000 hotel rooms in a 25-story tower. The resort has 653 slot machines and a bingo parlor.

Mohave Accelerated Learning Center (MALC) is a public charter school serving grades K-12 in Bullhead City, Arizona. The school opened in 2001.

The Golden Nugget Laughlin (formerly the Nevada Club) is a hotel and casino located on the banks of the Colorado River in Laughlin, Nevada. It is owned and operated by Landry's, Inc. It offers a number of restaurants, 300 guest rooms and suites, a casino floor, and meeting spaces. The Golden Nugget offers water taxi service from Bullhead City, Arizona, on the opposite side of the river.Restaurants at the Golden Nugget include Bubba Gump Shrimp Company, Claim Jumper, Saltgrass Steak House and Bean and Bread.
