Vaz/Obervaz is a municipality in the Albula Region in the canton of Graubünden in Switzerland. The municipality of Vaz/Obervaz includes the following villages: Lain, Muldain, Zorten, Lenzerheide, and Valbella, as well as the hamlets of Nivaigl, Fuso, Trantermoira, Sporz, Tgantieni, Sartons, Creusen and Obersolis.

The Lenzerhorn (also spelled Lenzer Horn) is a mountain of the Plessur Alps, located east of Lenzerheide in the canton of Graubünden. It has an elevation of 2,906 metres and is, after the Aroser Rothorn, the second highest peak of the Plessur Alps.

Crap la Pala (2,151 m) is a subpeak in the Lenzerheide region in the Swiss Alps. It lies in the southern face of Piz Scalottas, reaching a prominence of no more than 50 metres.

Heidsee (Romansh: Igl Lai) is a lake at Lenzerheide, Grisons, Switzerland. Its surface area is 0.41 km2 (0.16 sq mi). It lies at the foot of the Parpaner Rothorn.

Lenzerheide is the common name of a passage past a high mountain pass in the Alps in the canton of Graubünden in Switzerland, reaching summit at 1549 m between Valbella and Parpan, approximately 5 kilometers south of the resort of Lenzerheide. The road connects Chur in the valley of the Rhine and Tiefencastel in the valley of the Albula, which is actually a tributary to the Rhine. The pass nevertheless offered a shortcut which additionally avoided the gorge "Schinschlucht" with its difficult terrain in the past. Nowadays most traffic to Tiefencastel would use the A13 motorway to Thusis to get to Tiefencastel on a main road. The Lenzerheide road has a maximum grade of 11 percent and is open year-round, though road conditions frequently necessitate winter tires, especially between December and March. Due to the local settlements nobody ever bothered to call the summit near Lenzerheide a mountain pass nor would an official document call it a pass. It will also not appear on road pass opening charts.The mountain Piz Scalottas (el 2321 m.) offers a good view to overlook both routes via Lenzerheide or the Schinschlucht gorge. If you climbed the Lenzerheide pass road by mountain bike, the chairlift to Piz Scalottas will transport your mountain bike for free to the summit.

Piz Scalottas is a mountain of the Plessur Alps, located near Lenzerheide in the canton of Graubünden, Switzerland. In winter a chairlift brings skiers to the summit of Piz Scalottas. The mountain offers a good view to overlook both sides, Lenzerheide to the east and the Domleschg valley to the west. Lenzerheide (Romansh: Lai) is a mountain resort in the canton of Graubünden, Switzerland at the foot of the Parpaner Rothorn. The village lies in the municipality Vaz/Obervaz in the district of Albula, sub-district Alvaschein. The village lies in a broadened section of the valley between the cantonal capital Chur to the north and Tiefencastel, beyond which are the Julier Pass and St Moritz. The high valley forms a pass of no official name, often referred to as Lenzerheide pass, with a culmination point located 5 km north of the village. Lenzerheide is popular as skiing resort and for its lake (Heidsee), which is frozen in winter. The Lenzerheide Bergbahnen offers access to the skiing areas of Stätzerhorn, Danis, Scalottas, and Rothorn. There are slopes approved for all FIS Alpine Ski World Cup races for women and men. At the end of 2013 the Lenzerheide ski resort was linked with Arosa by cable-car, creating the new ski resort of Arosa Lenzerheide. Since then transport passes are available to both resorts. A two-day hike connects Lenzerheide with two more resorts in Graubünden in different Valleys, which are Arosa (can be reached in one day) and Davos (a two-day hike).

The Parpaner Rothorn is a mountain of the Plessur Alps, overlooking Parpan in the canton of Graubünden. The summit is easily accessible with a cable car from Lenzerheide, the upper station being located 30 metres below the main summit.

The Aroser Rothorn is the highest mountain of the Plessur Alps. It is located between Arosa and Lenzerheide in the canton of Graubünden and with a summit elevation of 2,980 metres above sea level. The summit lies near the Parpaner Rothorn, which is served by a cable car.

Parpan Castle is a castle in the municipality of Churwalden of the Canton of Graubünden in Switzerland. It is a Swiss heritage site of national significance.

The Plessur Alps are a mountain range in the Alps of eastern Switzerland. They are considered to be part of the Western Rhaetian Alps. They are named after the river Plessur, which originates from the center of the ranges. The Plessur Alps are separated from the Glarus Alps in the west by the Rhine valley; from the Rätikon range in the north by the Landquart river valley (Prättigau); from the Albula Alps in the south-east by the Landwasser river valley; from the Oberhalbstein Alps in the south by the Albula river valley. The Plessur Alps are drained by the rivers Rhine, Plessur, Landwasser and Landquart. The ski resort Arosa lies in the middle of the range. Peaks of the Plessur Alps are the Aroser Rothorn (highest, 2,985 m (9,793 ft)) and Stätzer Horn (2,576 m (8,451 ft)). A mountain pass in the Plessur Alps is the Strela Pass, from Davos to Langwies, elevation 2,377 m (7,799 ft).

Alvaneu (Romansh: Alvagni) is a former municipality in the district of Albula in the canton of Graubünden in Switzerland. On 1 January 2015 the former municipalities of Alvaschein, Mon, Stierva, Tiefencastel, Alvaneu, Brienz/Brinzauls and Surava merged to form the new municipality of Albula/Alvra.On 20 March 2007 Peter Martin Wettler, a media expert and resident of Zurich was appointed Prince of Belfort by the village's authorities.
