Hutto is a city in Williamson County, Texas, United States. It is part of the Austin–Round Rock metropolitan area. The population was 27,577 at the 2020 census.

The East Blackland Solar Project, also known as the Pflugerville Solar Farm, is a 144 megawatt (MW) alternating current (AC) solar photovoltaic (PV) power plant near Pflugerville, Texas. Originally a 60 MWAC plant, a ceremonial ground breaking was announced in December 2010 with completion expected in June 2013, but construction start was delayed until July 2020, because no buyer for the electricity was available for contract.RRE Mehta Power was the original developer on the project. The current developer is Recurrent Energy, LLC, a division of Canadian Solar. CIT Group arranged for financing of $162 million of the $234 million project, which finally broke ground in July 2020. Austin Energy will buy electricity generated by the project under the terms of a 15-year power purchase agreement (PPA).The system was sold to Duke Energy in 2020, before construction was completed. The project will begin operating in January 2024.

Lake Pflugerville is a reservoir in Pflugerville, Texas in the United States. Construction of the 180-acre reservoir began in 2005 and was completed in 2006. Pumps are used to flow water through a 16-mile pipeline to the reservoir from the lower Colorado River. Its main purpose is to provide water to area residents.Recreation activities also surround the reservoir. Amenities include a 3 mi (4.8 km)-long granite hike and bike trail and fishing piers. Adjacent to the reservoir is Lake Pflugerville Park, which was completed in 2010. The park includes kayak rentals, pavilions/picnic areas, and a beach area. Lake Pflugerville is home to several events, including KIDFish and the Lake Pflugerville Triathlon.

Hendrickson High School is a high school in the city of Pflugerville, Travis County, Texas, United States. It is operated by the Pflugerville Independent School District and is named after Pflugerville educator and civil servant Robert E. Hendrickson.
