Mud Center is an unincorporated community on the west edge of Evansville in Perry Township, Vanderburgh County, in the U.S. state of Indiana. Mud Center is said to be part of the nearby community of Red Bank, even though it is a completely separate community. It is bordered on the east by Carpenter Creek and on the north by Broadway Avenue.

Screaming Eagles Arena is a multi-purpose arena in Evansville, Indiana. It opened in 2019 and seats 4,800 people for basketball games. It is the home arena of the Southern Indiana Screaming Eagles at the University of Southern Indiana.

The University of Southern Indiana (USI) is a public university just outside of Evansville, Indiana. Founded in 1965, USI enrolls 9,750 dual credit, undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students in more than 130 areas of study. Francis Joseph Reitz High School (FJ Reitz High School, FJ Reitz, or simply Reitz) is a public high school on the west side of Evansville, Indiana. It was founded in 1918 following a donation from local philanthropist and banker Francis Joseph Reitz, for whom the school is named. It is the second-oldest high school in the city after Evansville Central High School and is run by the Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation. It is known as Evansville Reitz by the Indiana High School Athletic Association to distinguish it from Reitz Memorial High School, also named in FJ Reitz's honor. Memorial is a private Roman Catholic school operated by the Diocese of Evansville.

Mater Dei High School or Evansville Mater Dei High School is a private Catholic high school on the west side of Evansville, Indiana, constructed in 1949. It is one of two Catholic high schools that serve the students of Vanderburgh, Posey, Gibson, and Warrick counties as part of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Evansville.

Michael D. Helfrich House is a historic home located at Evansville, Indiana. It was designed by the architectural firm Clifford Shopbell & Co. and built in 1920. It is a two-story, Prairie School style brown brick and limestone sheathed dwelling. It features a complex arrangement of interlocking masses, art glass windows, corner piers, massive brick chimney, and a porte cochere.: 2–3 It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.

The Mead Johnson River-Rail-Truck Terminal and Warehouse is a historic terminal / warehouse at the Port of Evansville in Evansville, Indiana. The complex was built in 1931 and consists of the terminal building and warehouse. The terminal building is a rectangular canopied structure measuring 285 feet long, 110 feet wide, and 62 feet high. The building is cantilevered 45 feet over the Ohio River. The terminal is serviced by two electric cranes that each measure 54 feet long. The original warehouse is 585 feet long and 150 feet wide. It was enlarged by a 310-foot addition in 1957.: 2–3  The terminal is operated by Kinder Morgan and is served by CSX Transportation. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.
