The Hungarian Open Air Museum (Hungarian: Szentendrei Szabadtéri Néprajzi Múzeum) is Hungary’s largest outdoor collection, founded in 1967. The open-air museum shows Carpathian folk architecture and life in various areas of Hungary. Inspired by the creation of Skansen, established in Stockholm in 1891, the Hungarian facility in Szentendre was founded in 1967 after years of preparation by ethnographers. Opened as the "Village Museum Department" of the Budapest Ethnographic Museum, in 1972 it became independent. The museum has an area of 46 hectares at Sztaravoda. There are eight areas of the museum: North Hungarian Village Upland Market Town Upper-Tisza Great Plains Southern Transdanubia Bakony, Balaton Uplands Western Transdanubia Kisalföld

Csobánka is a village in Pest County, Budapest metropolitan area, Hungary. Csobánka is located in the Pilis Mountains which is a National Park in Hungary. The name Csobánka comes from Ottoman Turkish چوبان (çoban) rooted in < Persian چوبان (čubân). which means shepherd. The word csobán originated from the settlement of the Magyars in Hungary. The earliest record of the official name was mentioned in a tax minute-book on January 3, 1698.

The Urban Public Transport Museum of the Budapesti Közlekedési Zrt. is located in Szentendre, Hungary. The museum opened on July 14, 1992, with five exhibition halls and two showrooms, as well as an open exhibition space in front of the halls. It is open every year from April to October, the entrance fee is one line ticket for adults and one metro ticket for children and pensioners. It is next to the H5 HÉV terminus and the local Volánbusz bus station.

Požarevac Church (Serbian Cyrillic: Пожаревачка црква, Hungarian: Pozsarevacska szerb ortodox templom), officially Church of St. Archangel Michael, in Szentendre is a Serbian Orthodox church in Hungary named after the town of Požarevac in Serbia. The church is one of a couple of Serbian Orthodox churches in the town and is a part of the Eparchy of Buda. The church was completed in 1759 and consecrated in 1763. According to tradition, it was built next to the Bučina stream. The neighborhood around the church was also known as Požarevačka Mahala. The iconostasis of the Pozarevac Church is older than the present church since it was originally installed in the "old" Cathedral Church in 1742. The church was damaged during a major flood in 1838 but was soon renovated. The latest renovation of the church took place in 2018.

Békásmegyer (German: Krottendorf) is a neighbourhood in Budapest, Hungary. It belongs administratively to District III. Békásmegyer consists of two different parts, a huge high-rise housing estate and the traditional Ófalu ("Old Village") with older houses. Békásmegyer is divided into two by the Szentendre HÉV line. Békásmegyer bal-oldal or hegy felőli oldal (left-side or mountain side) and Békásmegyer jobb-oldal or Duna felőli oldal (right-side or Danube side). The left side was an independent village until 1 January 1950, when it was merged into Budapest, while the right side was a water reservoir of the Danube river. Today 41,000 people live in Békásmegyer Microdistrict (13,394 panel flats) and a few thousand in the former village.

The Eparchy of Buda (Serbian: Будимска епархија or Budimska eparhija) is a diocese or eparchy of the Serbian Orthodox Church, having jurisdiction over the territory of Hungary. The seat of the eparchy is in Szentendre (Serbian: Сентандреја or Sentandreja) near Budapest.

The Archives of the Eparchy of Buda (Serbian: Архив Епархије будимске, Hungarian: A Budai Egyházmegye Levéltára) in Szentendre, Hungary, are the central repository archives of the Eparchy of Buda of the Serbian Orthodox Church. The archives were officially established as an separate institution of the Eparchy only in 1990, coinciding with the tricentennial of the Great Migration of the Serbs. They are nevertheless considered by some commentators to be one of the most important Serb institutions outside of Serbia. The archives house collections in approximately 1,700 boxes. The archival materials from the Eparchy of Buda are organized into various fonds, including administrative, societal, and personal collections. Notably, significant collections include parish registers from 56 churches covering 1725 to 1975, which were digitized in 2011, and a collection of 1,500 inventories from churches and monasteries.
