Mansarovar Garden and Kirti Nagar localities are adjacent to the Ring Road on one side and Patel Road on the other which connect to Dhaula Kuan and the Central Business District of Connaught Place, respectively. Surrounding areas to Kirti Nagar are Ramesh Nagar, Mansarovar Garden, Rajouri Garden, Punjabi Bagh and Patel Nagar.

The Kirti Nagar metro station is located on the Blue Line of the Delhi Metro.It is one of the terminus stations of the Green Line, the other being Inderlok. An extension of the Green Line, commuters travelling on the Green Line are able to transfer to Blue Line from this station as well as the Red Line at Inderlok via Ashok Park Main, saving time and money, rather than going all the way to longer routes of Rajiv Chowk and Kashmere Gate. This branch opened on 27 August 2011. A new Metrolite Line is under construction and will be completed by 2025. It will run from Kirti Nagar to Bamnoli Village, with 22 stations. The stations for the line will be built in a mix of elevated, and at-grade stations.Some recreational places include Moments Mall, BTW Kirti Nagar, Furniture Market, Sunday Market, and other popular eatery shops spread throughout the area.

ESI - Basaidarapur metro station is located on the Pink Line of the Delhi Metro. As part of Phase III of Delhi Metro, the station was opened on 14 March 2018. It was earlier known as ESI Hospital Metro station It was earlier known as ESI Hospital Metro station but due to the efforts of Abhimanyu Tyagi (currently the Co-Incharge of BJYM Uttar Pradesh) the youth wing of BJP it got changed to ESI - Basaidarapur Metro Station in 2018.

Kathputli Colony is a colony of street performers in Shadipur Depot area of Delhi. For the last 50 years, it is home to some 2,800 families of magicians, snake charmers, acrobats, singers, dancers, actors, traditional healers and musicians and especially puppeteers or kathputli-performers from Rajasthan. This makes it world’s largest community of street performers.The colony is undergoing an in situ redevelopment plan by Delhi Development Authority (DDA) of Government of Delhi.
