The Kirti Nagar metro station is located on the Blue Line of the Delhi Metro.It is one of the terminus stations of the Green Line, the other being Inderlok. An extension of the Green Line, commuters travelling on the Green Line are able to transfer to Blue Line from this station as well as the Red Line at Inderlok via Ashok Park Main, saving time and money, rather than going all the way to longer routes of Rajiv Chowk and Kashmere Gate. This branch opened on 27 August 2011. A new Metrolite Line is under construction and will be completed by 2025. It will run from Kirti Nagar to Bamnoli Village, with 22 stations. The stations for the line will be built in a mix of elevated, and at-grade stations.Some recreational places include Moments Mall, BTW Kirti Nagar, Furniture Market, Sunday Market, and other popular eatery shops spread throughout the area.

The Shadipur metro station is located on the Blue Line of the Delhi Metro, situated in the Shadipur area.

Patel Nagar railway station is a railway station in Patel Nagar which is a residential and commercial neighborhood of West Delhi area of Delhi. Its code is PTNR. The station is part of Delhi Suburban Railway. The station consists of 7 platforms. Trains like Ajmer Hazrat Nizamuddin Jan Shatabdi Express and Saharanpur Farukhnagar Janta Express are among the fast trains that stop here.

Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College (informally known as DDUC) (Hindi: दीन दयाल उपाध्याय कॉलेज) is a constituent college of the University of Delhi in India, located at Phase 1, Dwarka Sector-3, Dwarka, New Delhi, Delhi 110078. It is fully funded by Government of Delhi. It was established in August 1990 in the memory of Deen Dayal Upadhyaya, a philosopher, thinker and social worker.

Kirti Nagar is well connected to the Delhi Metro via the Kirti Nagar station, which is one of the few Metro stations with a feeder bus service. Mansarovar Garden and Kirti Nagar localities are adjacent to the Ring Road on one side and Patel Road on the other which connect to Dhaula Kuan and the Central Business District of Connaught Place, respectively. Surrounding areas to Kirti Nagar are Ramesh Nagar, Mansarovar Garden, Rajouri Garden, Punjabi Bagh and Patel Nagar.
