Szczecin Meeting Point

The William I Monument was a monument in Szczecin, Poland, in form of an equestrian statue of William I, emperor of Germany from 1871 to 1888. It was designed by sculptor Karl Hilgers, and unvailed on 1 November 1894 at the King Square (now Polish Soldier Square). The monument dismantled on 31 July 1945.

The Grey Castle (German: Graues Schloß, Polish: Szary Zamek, Polish pronunciation: [ˈʃarɨ ˈzãmɛk]) was a tenement house in Szczecin, which was located at the corner of today's Polish Soldier Square and Independence Avenue, on the north-western edge of the Old Town, in the Centre district. It was destroyed during World War II.

The Polish Soldier Square, also commonly referred to as the Flower Avenue, is an urban square in Szczecin, Poland, located at the bounry of neighbourhoods of Centrum and Old Town, within the Downtown district. To the north and south of the square are placed roads, which intersect with Independence Avenue, Emancipation Avenue, Pope John Paul II Avenue, and Bałuki Street to the west, and with Jana Matejki Street and Castle Way to the east. The square was established in 1725, and was formerly known as the White Parade Square until 1809, and later as the King Square until 1945.

The Paweł Adamowicz Square is an urban square in Szczecin, Poland, in the neighbourhood of Centrum, within the Downtown district, between Pope John Paul II Avenue, Independence Avenue, and Aviators Square. It was opened in 2019.

The Treaty of Stettin was concluded on 28 April 1715, during the Great Northern War, in the Prussian camp at Stettin (now Szczecin) between Hanover and Prussia. The treaty allied George I of Great Britain, as Elector of Hanover, with the Kingdom of Prussia against the Swedish Empire. In the years following the establishment of this treaty, Sweden was forced out of it holdings south of the Baltic Sea, ultimately leading to Sweden's defeat in 1721, at the conclusion of the Great Northern War.

The Szczecin Art Academy (Polish: Akademia Sztuki w Szczecinie) is a public university in Szczecin, Poland, founded on September 1, 2010. The profile of the university includes both music and visual arts with programmes offered in two different art disciplines. It consists of 4 faculties with BA and MA courses.

The Statue of Flora in Szczecin is a baroque monument to Flora, a goddess of flowers and spring, located at White Eagle Square (Polish: Plac Orła Białego) in Szczecin (the Old Town). The statue was made of sandstone around 1730 by German sculptor Johann Georg Glume to a design by Johann Konrad Koch. The sculpture group consists of Flora holding a basket of flowers, along with a putto on either side: one climbing on a horn of plenty; one sitting by another basket of flowers. It was destroyed during the Second World War and restored in 1953.

The Province of Pomerania was a province of Brandenburg-Prussia, the later Kingdom of Prussia. After the Thirty Years' War, the province consisted of Farther Pomerania. Subsequently, the Lauenburg and Bütow Land, Draheim, and Swedish Pomerania south of the Peene river were joined into the province. The province was succeeded by the Province of Pomerania set up in 1815. The name Pomerania comes from Slavic po more, which means "Land at the Sea".

It is located in the neighbourhood of Centrum, within the Downtown district, at the intersection of Pope John Paul II Avenue, Jagiellońska Street, Kaszubska Street, Małopolska Street, and Mazurska Street. It was opened in the 1890s.

The Galeria Kaskada is a shopping centre in Szczecin, Poland, located at 36 Niepodległości Avenue. The building was opened on 28 September 2011, and belongs to the ECE Polska company.

The Rodło Square (Polish: Plac Rodła) is an urban square in Szczecin, Poland. It is located in the neighbourhood of Centrum, within the district of Śródmieście, at the intersection of Wyzwolenia Avenue, and Piłsudskiego Street. It was constructed in the 1970s.

Szczecin Cathedral, in full the Archcathedral Basilica of St James the Apostle (Polish: Bazylika archikatedralna św. Jakuba Apostoła), is a Gothic cathedral located in Szczecin, Poland and seat of the Archdiocese of Szczecin-Kamień. Built in the 12th-14th centuries, it is the second tallest church in Poland, the largest church in the region of Western Pomerania, and one of the most distinctive landmarks of the Szczecin Old Town.
