Fyllingsdalstunellen

Fyllingsdalen (Urban East Norwegian: [ˈfʏ̂lːɪŋsˌdɑːɫn̩]) is a borough of the city of Bergen in Vestland county, Norway. The borough is located southwest of the city centre in the Fyllingsdalen valley, west of the mountain Løvstakken. The neighbourhoods of Fyllingsdalen mainly consist of fairly large apartment buildings with little industry or commerce.The valley's name comes from the farm name "Fyllingen" (from Old Norse: 'fylingr', related to Old Norse 'fæla' - hide/hidden) and "dale" (from Old Norse: 'dalr' - valley) and is attested in 1437 as "Fylingir" . Fyllingsdalen Church (Norwegian: Fyllingsdalen kirke) is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Bergen Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. It is located in the Fyllingsdalen borough of the city of Bergen. It is the church for the Fyllingsdalen parish which is part of the Bergensdalen prosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Bjørgvin. The white, concrete church was built in a fan-shaped design in 1976 using plans drawn up by the architect Helge Hjertholm. The church seats about 350 people, but it expandable up to about 600.

The white, wooden church was built in a fan-shaped style in 1997 using designs by the architect Helge Hjertholm. The church seats about 300 people.

Gullsteinen is a large hill in the city of Bergen in Vestland county, Norway. It is part of the Løvstakken mountain massif. Its peak is located 354 metres (1,161 ft) above sea level, and is accessible by hiking paths from all sides.

Sælen Church (Norwegian: Sælen kirke) is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Bergen Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. It is located in the Sælen neighborhood in the city of Bergen. It is the church for the Sælen parish which is part of the Bergensdalen prosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Bjørgvin. The brown, brick church was built in a rectangular design in 2001 using plans drawn up by the architectural firm Arkitektene Lille Frøen. The church seats about 450 people.

Varden Amfi is a football venue in Bergen, Norway. The stadium is currently used by FK Fyllingsdalen who plays in the Norwegian Second Division. It was formerly used by now dissolved clubs Løv-Ham and Fyllingen Fotball.It was originally opened in 1992, but upgraded to the Norwegian First Division standard in 2008. Before the upgrade Løv-Ham played at Krohnsminde which did not meet the Football Association's requirements. The upgrade, which was estimated to NOK 20–25 million, was fully financed by the local businessman Trond Mohn.The venue has an artificial turf.

Varden Kunstgress Field is located in Bergen, Norway, and is currently home to the (NoAFF) American football team Bergen Storm, as well as the association football (soccer) teams Bergen Sparta and Fyllingen Kvinner.

Løvstakken is one of the Seven Mountains that surround the center of the city of Bergen in Vestland county, Norway. The 477-metre (1,565 ft) tall mountain is located between the Fyllingsdalen and Bergensdalen valleys on the Bergen Peninsula. Løvstakken and the forests nearby are popular hiking areas among the locals since it is essentially located in the central area of Norway's second largest city. Gullsteinen, a large hill located south of the summit of Løvstakken, is also part of the mountain massif and borders the protected forest area of Langeskogen. The neighbourhood of Løvstakksiden in Årstad borough, north of the summit, is named after the mountain. The neighborhood was historically a borough of Bergen, but it has more recently dissolved and its areas were merged with Årstad and Fyllingsdalen boroughs.

The Løvstakken Tunnel (Norwegian: Løvstakktunnelen) is a road tunnel in the city of Bergen in Vestland county, Norway. The tunnel connects the Fyllingsdalen area with the eastern part of the borough of Laksevåg and the city centre. It was built in 1968 to improve connectivity with the newly developed area. The tunnel had an average daily traffic of 17,015 vehicles in 2007, down from 17,702 vehicles in 2000. The tunnel is 2,045 metres (6,709 ft) long.In 2002, a safety study by the German company Deutsche Montan Technologie found serious shortcomings in the tunnel's safety, and among 30 European tunnels studied, the tunnel was ranked in 27th place. To improve matters, the flammable polyethylene foam in the tunnel was removed, fire extinguishers and emergency phones were installed at 50-metre (160 ft) and 250-metre (820 ft) intervals respectively, surveillance cameras, emergency lighting, and emergency signage were introduced, and the speed limit was reduced from 70 to 60 kilometres per hour (43 to 37 mph). This raised the safety standard to minimum requirements, but the traffic volume is still large for a single tunnel.

Credokirken (formerly Levende Ord Bibelsenter Norwegian for "Living Word Bible Centre") is a charismatic megachurch in Bergen, Norway. The church also has its own bible school (together with Pinsekirken Tabernaklet and SALT Bergenskirken), and an elementary school. The senior pastor is Olav Rønhovde.

Damsgårdsfjellet is a mountain in the city of Bergen in Vestland county, Norway. The 284-metre (932 ft) tall mountain lies west of Melkeplassen and it is one of the seven mountains surrounding the city center of Bergen.
