Bønes Church

Bønestoppen is a neighbourhood in the city of Bergen, Norway. It is located on the northern shore of the lake Nordåsvannet in the city borough of Fyllingsdalen. The Bønes Church is located here.

Nordåsvannet or Nordåsvatnet is a bay in Bergen Municipality in central Vestland county, Norway. Located about 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) south of the centre of the city of Bergen, it separates the boroughs of Fana and Ytrebygda from the borough of Fyllingsdalen. Nordåsvannet has an area of about 5 square kilometres (1.9 sq mi), and is connected to the Grimstadfjorden at its far western end. The entire fjord, consisting of the Grimstadfjorden and Nordåsvannet, is known as the Fjøsangerfjorden. It is approximately 11 kilometres (6.8 mi) long.The Bergen neighborhoods of Søreidegrenda, Nesttun, Paradis, Fjøsanger, Bønestoppen, and Straume are all located on the shores of Nordåsvannet. The Gamlehaugen mansion is located on the shores of the bay. Gamlehaugen is one of the Norwegian King's royal residences.

Fyllingsdaltunellen (the Fyllingsdal tunnel) is a 2900 meter long tunnel through Løvstakken for pedestrians and cyclists between Fyllingsdalen and Minde in Bergen, Norway. The tunnel opened in spring 2023 and is the world's longest purpose-built cycling tunnel. It runs parallel to the light rail tunnel through the same mountain, and also functions as an escape tunnel for the light rail.

Gullsteinen is a large hill in the city of Bergen in Vestland county, Norway. It is part of the Løvstakken mountain massif. Its peak is located 354 metres (1,161 ft) above sea level, and is accessible by hiking paths from all sides.

Credokirken (formerly Levende Ord Bibelsenter Norwegian for "Living Word Bible Centre") is a charismatic megachurch in Bergen, Norway. The church also has its own bible school (together with Pinsekirken Tabernaklet and SALT Bergenskirken), and an elementary school. The senior pastor is Olav Rønhovde.

Fyllingsdalen (Urban East Norwegian: [ˈfʏ̂lːɪŋsˌdɑːɫn̩]) is a borough of the city of Bergen in Vestland county, Norway. The borough is located southwest of the city centre in the Fyllingsdalen valley, west of the mountain Løvstakken. The neighbourhoods of Fyllingsdalen mainly consist of fairly large apartment buildings with little industry or commerce.The valley's name comes from the farm name "Fyllingen" (from Old Norse: 'fylingr', related to Old Norse 'fæla' - hide/hidden) and "dale" (from Old Norse: 'dalr' - valley) and is attested in 1437 as "Fylingir" . Fyllingsdalen Church (Norwegian: Fyllingsdalen kirke) is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Bergen Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. It is located in the Fyllingsdalen borough of the city of Bergen. It is the church for the Fyllingsdalen parish which is part of the Bergensdalen prosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Bjørgvin. The white, concrete church was built in a fan-shaped design in 1976 using plans drawn up by the architect Helge Hjertholm. The church seats about 350 people, but it expandable up to about 600.

Troldhaugen is the former home of Norwegian composer Edvard Grieg and his wife Nina Grieg. Troldhaugen is located in Bergen, Norway and consists of the Edvard Grieg Museum, Grieg's villa, the hut where he composed music, and his and his wife's gravesite.

Steinsvik is a grunnkrets and an area of the suburb of Ytrebygda in Bergen municipality, Norway. The area lies between Nordås, Siljustøl, Sandsli and Søreide, with the south side on Nordåsvannet, and has the most villas, but also some tower blocks. The area has 2871 inhabitants, as of 1 January 2009, and an area of 1.18 km², of which 0.03 km² is freshwater.

Søreide Church (Norwegian: Søreide kirke) is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Bergen Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. It is located in the Søreidegrenda neighborhood in the city of Bergen. It is the church for the Søreide parish which is part of the Fana prosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Bjørgvin. The white, wooden church was built in a fan-shaped style in 1973 using designs by the architect Helge Hjertholm. The church seats about 300 people, although by moving some folding walls, it can expand to fit an additional 300 people.

The Knappe Tunnel (Norwegian: Knappetunnelen) is a four-lane, twin-tube motorway tunnel in the city-municipality of Bergen in Vestland county, Norway. The tunnel is part of County Road 557 and consists of the first and second stages of the four-lane motorway project called Ring Road West (Norwegian: Ringvei Vest). The southern part of the tunnel goes under the Nordåsstraumen, a small strait connecting the lake Nordåsvatnet and the Grimstadfjorden. The tunnel was built in two stages. The first stage, from Dolvik in Søreidgrenda to Sandeide (with a branch heading east to Straume), started in August 2006 and was opened to the public on 10 September 2010. Stage two will run from Sandeide to the southern tip of the lake Liavatnet, where it will intersect with National Road 555. There are two extra exits/entrances to the tunnel (other than the two endpoints of the tunnel). There is a branch that heads east off the main path of the tunnel to connect to the village of Straume, and another branch that connects to the village of Sandeidet/Varden. The first part of the tunnel is 2.6 kilometers (1.6 mi) long, and the second segment is 2.8 kilometres (1.7 mi) long. The second segment is scheduled for completion in 2015. In total, the entire tunnel will be about 5.4 kilometres (3.4 mi) long. The lowest point of the tunnel is under the Nordåsstraumen strait, reaching 29 metres (95 ft) below sea level.

Sælen Church (Norwegian: Sælen kirke) is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Bergen Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. It is located in the Sælen neighborhood in the city of Bergen. It is the church for the Sælen parish which is part of the Bergensdalen prosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Bjørgvin. The brown, brick church was built in a rectangular design in 2001 using plans drawn up by the architectural firm Arkitektene Lille Frøen. The church seats about 450 people.
